[Q] Nexus 5 (32gb) Mobile Internal Storage 0mb - Miscellaneous Android Development

Hello,
Today I woke up to my phone boot-looping after leaving it to charge overnight, despite it having run fine for close to a month (I have been running Cayanogen Mod ROM and TWRP 2.6.4.3 since I got my Nexus 5).
After a long wait at the Google and Nexus logos, there's a system popup of 'Cayanogen logo" present on the screen. However, right after completing the 'updating of apps', the system popup 'Media Storage has stopped working' appears and the phone immediately restarts again.
Upon booting into TWRP, it presents me with a password screen, which I have never encountered before. After pressing 'Cancel' though, I'm directed to the TWRP main menu.
Attempts to factory reset the phone resulted in:
Formatting cache using make_ext4fs function.
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
Updating partition details...
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
E: Unable to mount '/persist'
E: Unable to mount storage.
Then i am using Nexus Root Toolkit and all are option i am going but nothing to do..
So please Watch this Video and Solved My Problem Please.. Please...
All are Process i am apply...Please developer help me......

[Q] My Internal sdcard is corrupted! Please Help!

I Think my Internal sdcard is corrupted!
Please Help! Reflashing android won't work. I think the partition is corrupted!
Device: Google Nexus 5
Original OS: Android 5.1.0_r1 (LMY47D)
Recovery: TWRP 2.8.6.0
One day I turned my phone off, and later i decided to go into recovery. I believe I went inside Advanced Options and clicked "Fix Permissions." Then I proceeded to reboot. I was busy at the time, so when I remembered about my phone, I saw that it was still booting. It had been at least 30 minutes so I knew it was in a bootloop. I decided to go back into recovery and reflash the system.img onto it. No luck. I realized I had to try flashing the entire Nexus image (using the flash-all.bat). The phone would still not turn on. I tried flashing different versions of android, and here are my findings:
Android 5.1.0_r3, 5.1.0_r1, 5.0.1: all cause my phone to not be able to boot up (stuck on the 4 color flying animation)
Android 4.4.4, CyanogenMod (cm-11-20141008-SNAPSHOT-M11-hammerhead.zip): Allow my phone to boot up.
However, after I found that I could boot onto Android 4.4.4 and CyanogenMod, I realized that I could not get access to the sdcard!
Here are my findings:
When I go to the phone's root folder, I see a FILE called "sdcard"
When I go to \storage, I see a FILE called sdcard0
When I open camera, the app crashes (possibly because it stores pictures on the sdcard).
I tried to delete these files when I had root access with CyanogenMod but the file manager said "can't delete file." When I am in recovery mode (TWRP) however, I can see the sdcard folder and the contents. Just through every system boot, the sdcard is inaccessible.
After I realized that the problem wasn't due to the data on my phone (after flashing many system images), I realized my data partition might be corrupted. Then I went to this site and followed the directions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...o-repairing-corrupted-data-partition-t2577447
The e2fsck command didn't do anything as cmd said "The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2 filesystem."
Afterwards, my friend told me to try mke2fs /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/userdata
I typed that in adb shell and something happened. I started processing blocks or something. Unfortunately now, I am unable to mount the data partition at all. I am also unable to flash the userdata.img onto my phone through fastboot.
UPDATE: When I open up twrp recovery and look in the log I see the following:
E: Could not mount /data and unable to find crypto footer.
E: Unable to mount '/data'
E: Unable to recreate /data/media folder.
Updating partition details...
E: Unable to mount '/data'
E: Unable to mount '/cache/
E: Unable to mount '/persist'
...done
E: Unalbe to mount storage.
E: Unable to mount /data/media during GUI Startup.
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
Full SELinux support is present.
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
E: Unable to Mount '/cache'
E: Unable to mount /data/media/TWRP .twrps when trying to read settings file.
E: Unable to mount '/data'
MTP Enabled
Anyone know how to fix this? Please help, I owe you so much if you can solve this! Reply to me if you're able to help, I'm also new to xda so I don't really know how messages work. Thanks!
Try taking it out and putting it back in. It happened to me too.

By sdcard I mean the internal sdcard (/storage/emulated/0). Nexus 5 does not have an external sdcard slot anyways.
So you are saying you have no apps, no widgets, nothing... /storage/emulated/0 is your main storage which INCLUDES your system files (unless you have a phone or tablet that has a separate internal SD card - would be /storage/emulated/1 ... I am guessing)

MOTO G XT-1045- Cannot Restore With CWM

[Q] cwm not restoring? MOTO G XT-1045
So I'm kinda new to this so forgive me if I cannot provide adequate information.
Background/Necessary info
Just recently, my phone died and wouldn't turn back on. I fixed this by keeping my phone on the charger forever and holding the power button forever. When the phone finally powered back on, every app began to crash, including process com.google.process.gapps. It was so bad to the point where I couldn't use the phone normally. I tried to fix it by booting into recovery and restoring the phone to the factory version. This brings me to:
The problem
I wiped data/factory reset, wiped the cache and cleared the dalvik cache. For the first time I saw this:
E: can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E: can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E: can't open /cache/recovery/last_install
E: can't open /cache/recovery/last_install
I thought those messages didn't mean anything significant, so I went ahead and tried to restore, and I got the error:
Error while restoring /system!
A lot of research on google led me to some:
Attempted fixes
I tried unmounting and mounting system/data/cache/external sd, formatting the cache/system, to reinstall my existing mod from my sd card (that gave me error 7), and I tried wiping the cache partition. Nothing worked.
How do I get rid of those error messages? What am I doing wrongly? It might be staring me right in the face but I cannot see it lol
Also ill post more info if needed. Thanks in advance!

Galxy S3 doesn´t get past first screen / failed to mount

Hey guys, got my 2 year Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 that suddenly turned off and won´t start. It gets stuck on the page that says in white letters GALAXY SIII...etc before the logo with the samsung blue thing circling appears.
So, tried to go into safe mode. No luck.
Recovery mode:
green android dead on it´s side, red sign and...
e: failed to mount /efs (no such file or directory)
e: failed to mount / system (nsfod)
#Manual Mode#
Applying Multi-CSC
same failed to mount but with system, then cache and then cache/recovery
Did a wipe cache partition and this appears:
e:/format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p8
Cache wipe complete.
e: failed to mount /cache (block device required)
e: can´t mount /cache/recovery/log
e: can´t open /cache/recovery/log
and lots of similar lines.
Now...I´m not an expert, don´t have my phone rooted. After reading hundreds of threads last night, I opted to try the ERASE DATA / FACTORY RESET, and nothing happened.
Downloaded KIES, it will stay in the page saying ¨Connecting¨ so it doesn´t recognize the phone, but I still went into the 2nd option of tools to reload a firmware. It asks for Model and S/N, goes into download...take 5/10 minutes to download it....but then stays in 0% when installing it. It stays like this for hours.
Tried unplugging, and changing USB slots...but still doesn´t go past 0%.
My phone has been having trouble lately with the power button...sometimes when I take the battery out and put it back in it starts on it´s own.
I really don´t mind loosing my data...but if I could retrieve it somehow before deleting everything it would be the topping on the cake!
Thanks for anyone who can assist me on this.
Nico
(Oh...errors that happened 5 minutes before it went dead: something like Messenger stopped working, 3 times....I was doing something else so I decided to uninstall FB Messenger. A couple minutes later the phone died and I couldn´t get past the splash screen (heard you call it like that to the first screen that appears in white letters?).

phone stuck in bootloop

good evening, i have a problem with my phone. i have an exynos7870 j7 2016 with a modded galaxy s20 ultra oneui 2 android 10 rom with root (magisk). it's kinda buggy sometimes but i've had it for a year and a half.
not too often, my OS would randomly go from being powered on to showing the samsung loading splash screen, like it was turning on. i would always hard reset the phone as it would be stuck in this screen and it would reboot normally. this time, however, was different.
when i hard reset my phone after this issue, it took abnormally long to load (usually took around 2 minutes, it was well over 5 minutes this time). i thought it was a bug so i decided to reset the phone again. when it restarted and i realized it would take the same amount of time, i let it do it's thing, only to realize that it would restart and try to boot again. that's when i realized i was in a bootloop.
i'm not sure what caused this (i'm fearing that i corrupted the OS by hard resetting the first time) because (if there's a way please lmk) there's no way to turn on verbose mode on boot and check what the OS is having issues with.
i tried going into teamwin to see if i could check the system log. i did find a system log option, and it was saying that it failed to mount /data. i'm not too sure if this is teamwin's own log or if it's an OS log because teamwin mentioned something about not mounting the system partition and this log doesn't look particularly big and because it mentions the initials "TWRP".
Markdown (GitHub flavored):
Could not mount /data and unable to find crypto footer.
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)
Unable to recreate /data/media folder.
Updating partition details...
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)
...done
Unable to mount storage
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)
Full SELinux support is present.
Unable to mount /data/media/TWRP/.twrps
MTP enabled
Failed to mount '/data'(Invalid argument)
an additional thing to note is that teamwin restarts itself the moment i press the restart button where it otherwise asks for confirmation. i found that strange but i'm not sure if it's related with my problem.
any help regarding this problem would be much appreciated. i want to try to not have to wipe my phone and reinstall the OS because i have some sensitive applications (like lastpass authenticator) that i don't want to lose access to, but if i really have to, then i'd like to know if 1. there's a lineageos build for my phone and 2. if it would run better / be better for my device.
thanks
