I am using Huawei Mate 7 TL10, but I don"t know why cannot connect to Sony Smartwatch 3 even already paired with bluetooth.
(Android wear already installed in Mate 7)
Did you enable android wear as "protected app" in settings so it wont stop when screen is off?
My Sony smartwatch 2 works fine after i did that (smart connect in my case).

Hey guys
I used to have my Xperia Z and the SW2 was working perfectly fine. I bought my Nexus 6 since 3 days and tried to connect it to the SW2, it connects but I can't use the SW2 app.
Also I have added it in the trusted devices on the N6 but still doesn't work. I have installed the SW2 app but couldn't find it on my menus so went to check it in my installed apps, it was there and working fine, also went to the play store to check it again but it was giving me the option to uninstall it only, there is no option to open the app where I can browse the extensions installed on the watch or change the watch faces. So has anyone had this problem?? I need your help.
You need to install also smart connect app from sony and from there pair the watch and launch the smartwatch app

Hey mate
You are a LEGEND and thanks for your reply, sorry I forgot to mention that I do have the smart connect app is installed . You just opened my eyes to try resetting the watch and once I have done that it did pair with the N6. Appreciate your reply buddy.
Hi,
i am trying to connect both devices, but the Smartband is not shown under android bluettoth settings. Unfortunately the Honor 6 L04 does not have NFC. But i doubt this would help.
I tried following things.
With the Apps "BLE Scanner" or "Bluetoth LE Scanner" i can find and connect the smartband. The apps say that its connected and the Smartband acts like it is connected (LED's).
Unfortuantely the Smartband Settings can only be accesed via Sony SmartConnect, but i cannot start Smartband Settings since it's not connected via android blueetooth menu.
I tried "adb shell am start -a com.sonyericsson.extras.SETTINGS" and the smartband settings menu appears, but status says its not connected.
Smartband is working (naturally) with a Sony Xperia Z and my Lenovo Yoga Tab 2.
Any ideas?
I found out that the Smartband settings are also accesible via Sony Lifelogger. Don't need adb shell method. Not connected either.
Also "BLE Scanner" says connected, but not bonded. "Bluettoth LE Scanner" says BLE Supported, connected but unbonded.
No suggestions everyone how to isolate the problem?
I would be very grateful.

I have no Sony Smartband but I have a Pebble and a Moto360.
I had big trouble to transfer Weather Data from my Huawei (H60-L02 rooted) to Pebble. And or Weather and location Data from my Huawei to Moto360.
The devices where connected well - and everything seems fine. But after a few hours - no Weather Data no location Data.
All settings in "Telefonmanager" check: StartUp Programs ok, Notification ok, Trusted Apps ok...
Nothing helps.
No I have freezed the "Telefonmanager" with titanium Backup. Everything is working perfect now!
The Problem with loss notifications from WhatsApp are history now
If your Device is rooted - try to freeze this App - and test again. I think this app will cut or prevent connections
Hi JimKnopf13.
I am not rooted at the moment, and i want to stay unrooted as long as possible for various reasons (warranty, etc).
My problem is that under bluetooth settings the smartbans is not shown/listed and that it is not bonded (with the Bluetooth BLE tools). Your's is that the connection is not reliable. Can you explain why i should freeze the "Phone Manager"? What's the connection between the two different cases?
ok, then it is a different thing.
I can see my Pebble and my Moto in the bluetooth settings. I can connect.
Only later, I think when the phone enter the sleep mode - all Data from Weather provider are blocked.
When I freeze the telefonmanager - everything working well.
Any developers here that can sched a light at this topic?
Hi,
I am trying to pair my Huawai mediapad m3 with my new Samsung gear S3. Unfortunately after installing the the gear manager on my Phablet it is not even recognizing the watch by scanning reachable devices .
Is their any possibility to make both devices communicate?
EMUI Version 4.1
Android Version 6.0
Anybody who could help me in this? :fingers-crossed:
Hi
Same problem here.
Did you manage to pair the watch?
The Gear Manager app isn't compatible with tablets. Not even Samsung's own tablets (including those that are fully functioning smartphones). I keep my watch remotely connected to a cheap phone that's permanently docked on my home wifi.
Hi everybody!
I have a Ticwatch E that I'm trying to pair with my new Xiaomi Mi 8, I've been trying for 3 days and I still cannot pair it. This are the steps I execute to pair it:
I open the Wear OS app in my phone
I look for devices and my watch appears
I click on my watch in the device list
(Here comes the problem )
A PIN is shown in my watch, it should be shown in my phone too but it doesn´t. My phone says 'A prompt to connect will appear on this phone' but nothing happens.
After a few seconds of waiting, my phone says "Couldn´t pair with Ticwatch E 299 N, because of an incorrect PIN or passkey"
At first I thought it was a problem with the watch, since my brother has a Ticwatch E and a Xiaomi Mi 8 too and he could make it work in the first attempt, so I tried to pair my watch with his old Samsung Galaxy S7 AND IT WORKED!
After that I tried again the same steps as described at the beginning of the thread with no success, so I proceeded to try connecting it without the Wear OS app. I went to Settiongs -> Bluetooth -> Selected 'Ticwatch E 299 N', and the PIN to connect was showing both on my watch and my phone, I hit 'Pair' and then it got connected. The problem is that my watch says that I should continue the configuration process in my phone but there's no configuration process if I don't pair it with the Wear OS app.
Other things I tried:
- Downloading the Mobvoi app and trying to pair from there (it asks me to open Wear OS, so it's basically the same).
- Downloading multiple old Wear OS versions in my phone and trying to pair using them (none of them worked)
- Following this steps after having paired it to my brother's old phone and then trying to pair it with the Wear OS app (This time the wear showed the PIN and asked me if the PIN was the same that was being shown in the phone (no PIN was being shown in the phone), so I clicked Yes and then I got the same 'Incorrect PIN or passkey' error message)
- Deleting all the data (including cache) of Google Play Services, Google, Wear OS, Mobvoi app, Bluetooth/WiFi/Mobile Data connections, and then rebooting the phone multiple times (no success here too)
P.S.: I did a factory reset of the phone before every mentioned attempt.
More info about my watch versions:
Home App: 2.8.0.183948193
Google Play Services: 12.2.21
Android OS: 8.0.0
Security Patch: August 1st 2018
Info about my brother's watch versions:
Wear OS by Google: 2.6 (I don't know why I don't have this in my 'versions' section)
Home App: 2.22.0.234791771
Google Play Services: 15.0.90
Android OS: 8.0.0
Security Patch: August 1st 2018
As you can see there's a clear difference between the versions of each watch, I would like to update my watch to my brother's versions but I couldn't find how to do that without rooting the watch (I'd prefeer to keep it unrooted if possible).
Any idea of what could I do to solve this? My phone's bluetooth works fine (I can use other bluetooth devices such as headphones or a JBL Charge 3, this is the first one that didn't work) and my Ticwatch works fine too (I could make it work with the S7 )
UPDATE: I connected the watch to the Samsung S7, updated Wear OS and now all the versions of both phones are the same (except for the Google Play Services version, I couldn't update it), it still doesn't pair.
Hi, I am new here, came for help
I've got Galaxy Watch 4 and tried to connect it to my smartphone LG V30. It connected only once after first start and then after disconecting I can't pair it again through the Galaxy Wearable app. My phone sees the device and can connect with it via Bluetooth but it doesnt work in app. To connect it again I have to reset the watch and start all the things from the beginning. I tried uninstall Galaxy Wearable app, turn off/on watch and smartphone, I called Samsung but they told they dont support non Samsung phones.
Anybody had also problem with pairibg and could help?
Hi, do you also have the Galaxy Watch4 Plugin installed from the Play store?
Everything works for me on my OnePlus Pro 8.
