Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device and this issue. I assume you are meaning Sim Unlocking? If you google "Sim unlock " there are many websites that can do this for some devices for a fee. You can look into that.
Otherwise I'm going to ask your thread be moved to the Android General Q&A section so others can help you possibly.
Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.

[Completed] [Q] Any shops that do this work?

My local repair shop cellphonerepairshop dot com does not change the ROM which I need done to use my tmobile sim in a Verizon phone. What are the best sites to send your phone out to for all this work to get done professionally?
I'm stationed in Clarksville, TN if there's anything nearby.

I have a Verizon Wireless LG G2 with a Tmobile SIM for unlimited data, but data only works on 3g and Verizons software doesn't allow tethering without a Verizon SIM. With all this aftermarket software for these phones how come I can't find anyone that installs it and ensures it works properly?
That's probably because it isn't official firmware, and installing custom firmware is a hobby, it's up to the end user to know what they're doing and to take it upon themselves to dabble with it. Some custom firmware can be unstable, if mobile repair centers were to start installing firmwares on devices with unknown levels of stability they're basically opening themselves up for complaints when something goes wrong with the device, through no actual fault of their own.
What I'm saying here is if you want to install custom firmware on your device you're going to have to do it yourself. There's a dedicated section for your device on XDA here:
Verizon LG G2
All information, discussion, and development to do with your device can be found there. If there's one piece of advice I can give you here it is to read, read, read, read, and read some more before even contemplating altering your phone. You absolutely must have a firm grasp on what you're doing when modifying your phone, one wrong step can brick (destroy) it. So, head to the Verizon G2 section and start reading, and start your journey to becoming a modder.
Good luck!

[Completed] Unlocking Moto x or Galaxy S5

I am looking to buy a used Android device, many adds describe phone as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc. but I want to try a different carrier. Some tell me that unlocking is easy and it can be done anywhere, others tell me it can only be done by the original carrier. Can I be sure I can unlock a used phone if I buy one? I learned of XDA-developers online but have not been able to find info directly related by searching this sight. Can someone please direct me? Thanks!
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. There are a number of ways to SIM unlock a phone. Get a code from the carrier, buy an unlock code online, be careful with this, or use one of the methods on XDA if available for your phone. I would suggest you ask in the specific forum for the device you are considering. For the Moto X see this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/Unlock and this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x
For the S5 see this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5
If anyone knows if it's possible the people in those forums will knoe.
Good luck and don't forget to register on XDA to ask questions in those forums.

[Completed] Bought used phone, got carrier blacklisted 30 days later. Any way to fix?

Hello peoples,
Title says it all really. Bought a used phone, apparently the seller stopped paying the equipment contract at Tmobile after or shortly before they sold it to me. After 30 days of me using it with no problems, it suddenly couldn't get a signal at all, and the tmobile store said it was "locked for nonpayment" from the original owner. They apologized, said they cant remove the lock, and gave me a loaner phone to use for 2 weeks while I figure out getting a new phone.
I have seen ebay sellers who offer to remove a phone from the blacklist, but they want you to DL software on your pc and allow remote access etc. All stuff i wouldn't do in a million years.
If there is any way to fix this problem so I can actually use my expensive phone, please reply here or send me a message. thanks for any and all help.
(The phone is a Tmobile Galaxy S5, running cyanogenmod 12.1 but can be flashed back to stock to fix this problem if possible).
