[GUIDE] Adding Picture/Image in XDA thread/post - General Topics

Just follow the instructions below:
Method 1
1. Go to https://imgur.com/
2. If you don't have an account there then RESISTER. If You already have an account there, just sign in
3. Click on "Upload images"
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
4. Now upload the images you want to add in XDA thread/post in imgur
5. After finishing the upload progress, You'll see the picture(s) inside the browser. Now Right click on that picture and click on "Copy image location". If you want, You can save the links somewhere or use them directly
6. Now Go to the new thread you're writing. click on "insert image" button
7. Now paste the URL you copied
8. Enjoy!!
Method 2
After uploading images into imgur.com You'll see something like this:
There You'd see the option "BBCode (message boards & forums)". Just copy the code below and paste it into your XDA thread/post
Enjoy
If you find this helpful, feel free to hit the THANKS button

Or you could just click the BBcode on the right side in Imgur. It automatically copies the entire code when you click on the text in that bar, all you have to do is paste it into your post. No need to use the editor buttons.
As another helpful tip, you can add s, m or l to the filename to make the picture smaller without having to actually resize it.
So image.jpg becomes imgaes.jpg for the small size in the URL. Usually L is more than big enough for XDA.

Thanks Actually, I searched everywhere about how to add images in XDA post/thread. But I found nothing. So, instead I tried to figure it out and I got the method 1
BTW, Your method is added as the "Method 2" in the post
Thanks for teaching

Hi,
are there any easier methods to post images?

To prevent spam on the XDA forums, ALL new users prevented from posting outside links in their messages. After approximately 10 posts, you will be able to post outside links. Thank you for understanding

imgur.com - is it outside link?
I haven't 10 posts, but I can not even posting imgur.com images.

How do you get this text formatting toolbar when posting a message?
When I post a message in XDA forum, I do not have it! It would be great to better format the text.

upload them to flicker and select medium size. Then when you come to post them select the icon with the mountain and input the link location. that will post them as big as the ones in the OP and they are very clear

Thank you all very much.
Well either way will work... Here I just tried it using the method I mentioned above and here's the result:
Click on the image and it will enlarge.
ok I get it a jpeg or png file will show up as a thumbnail but I was using a bmp file so it showed up as a downloadable file only. thank you very much

[Tutorial] [UPDATED] Making your own themes for Xposed Air Command Themer Module

EDIT: I fixed the links and attached the files needed (including tools like apktool and signapk)
ADDED: Videos! 3-part series
The videos are at the bottom of this post.
Here's a simple-ish guide on how to make your own themes for the Xposed Module Air Command Themer. The photos are here to give sizes and steps. I know there is a lot of info here, but I know I am a very visual person and this will help others.
The original OP that I am coming from is:
{Xposed} Air Command Themer
Another useful link is:
Guide on Compiling and Decompiling with Apktool
Step ONE: Making your own theme images using Photoshop:

}
STEP TWO: Now we move on to creating the apk. Setting up the folder to contain our images we just made. A blank theme apk can be found at the OP linked above, but in case it was missed:
Here it is again
USING APKTOOL:
USING SIGNAPK:
Again, both tools can be found and set up by following THIS GUIDE
Install and enjoy you're newly made air command theme! Make sure the themer is enabled in xposed or it won't work. Good luck everyone!

Part TWO: NOTE: There is a 30-second delay on the start of the video, sorry.
Part THREE: NOTE: There is a 14-second delay on the start of the video, sorry
Apktool, signapk, blank theme apk templates, and the picture guide itself are now attached below.

To attach a file to your post, you need to be using the main 'New Post' or 'New Thread' page and not 'Quick Reply'. To use the main 'New Post' page, click the 'Post Reply' button in the relevant thread.
On this page, below the message box, you will find a button labelled 'Manage Attachments'. Clicking this button will open a new window for uploading attachments. You can upload an attachment either from your computer or from another URL by using the appropriate box on this page. Alternatively you can click the Attachment Icon to open this page.
To upload a file from your computer, click the 'Browse' button and locate the file. To upload a file from another URL, enter the full URL for the file in the second box on this page. Once you have completed one of the boxes, click 'Upload'.
Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window. You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
Hit thanks if you found it valuable!
Peace ✌
clik the manage attachments when replys.

No manage attachments button on xda-forums (desktop browser)
I've recently encountered a bug in a ROM I am using and since the the ROM is not longer maintained I've decided to patch it myself.
So I want to post a flashable zip including the patch to the ROM thread but I can't find how to do it. I've read in this thread and here that I should click a button labeled "Manage attachments" but I can't find such button. Was it removed or I simply can't see it?
This is how New Reply page looks to me.

You are a junior member. To protect against spammers, junior members are not allowed to put attachments or links in XDA.
It could be possible once you click "I am not a robot"... but it was long time that I am not a junior member so I cannot remember.
Please write a PM to any of the moderators with your claim, so that they enable you to post attachments. Moderators usernames can be found here:
https://www.xda-developers.com/creativeknow-your-xda-admin-moderation-team/
Or, you can report your own post, and write in description that you want to add attachments but since you are a junior member, you cannot do it (select "other - non-urgent" for reason in drop down menu). They will remove your restriction once they know you are not a spam robot.

I have no idea whats going on with this site but threads aren't showing up full they are only showing up with a single post

Thank you for using XDA Assist.
I wasn't able to verify the links you are accessing but I may say:
- The below link is the "Thread Link" where you should see all the thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/confused-t3393095
- Each post has its single link where it's shown alone (#2)

- And the same post shown together with the rest of the thread (#2)
