Black Mist with white battery cover

anybody do this? i'm thinking of buying the white battery cover to put on my black mist
i bought a black gloss battery cover from ebay but it looks TOO cheap lol. i also bought the black metal one but before i read about signal loss (havent gotten that one in the mail yet)
there arent many on ebay that i really like and i'm not completely sold on the stock one
i also bought a barely there case mate case but i dont use it because i just like the look and feel of a naked phone. so a case is not really an option.

you could get the wireless charging cover in white

so it would be zebra colour ?

I actually saw someone with this combo. It actually looks pretty cool.

I've actually had this for about a week now since my brother's white S4 came in. I've ended up giving him my neo hybrid case because I like the black mist/white cover look quite a bit. Don't really know how I'd take a pic of it for ya because it'd just look like a white S4 from behind

They are awesome. This was my m8 with one of my favorite designs. They don't really touch the screen and typically if they are full screen you have the ability to get a screen protector that only covers screen.

Slickwraps is the ish. I just ordered the white leather finish. We'll see how that goes. Really curious to see how it feels in the hand.

I'm getting the frost color 6P. What skin color/texture do you guys think would work well with it?

That looks really good actually! I have frost coming so I skinned the front, sides, logo and camera. Should look good in a clear case too! Or maybe without the front or camera?

Uhhhh yeah... No, maybe? I'm betting a TGSP won't go edge to edge like the skin will. I could be wrong. These skins are cut really precise, so putting it on top of something else might leave gaps at the edges.

I've had a front skin from dbrand before. It has a slight lip on it so no. I personally wouldn't buy a front skin again. I hated when my finger slid into the edge of it.

I'm not sure which one to go with.

So I decided to get a little creative with some dBrand skins. Installation came out pretty good. Edges were challenging but manageable if you take your time.
I have the phone in a Spigen liquid crystal case.

Thanks. I was between the black/red and white/red but am happy with the results. Everything lined up pretty well, really not difficult to pull off at all.

Really nice. I always hesitated to get a skin because of the lack of drop protection. Very cool idea putting it inside a transparent case, I think I might go for a similar setup :good:

Appreciated. I do get quite a few "I like your case" comments. I gave up on explaining it's a skin, I just go with thank you now. I'm enjoying it a lot though, the install went well and I like the feel of the case more than the carbon fiber skin.
Post some pics once you decide on your setup.

Did you apply the blue (glass) piece over the white vinyl? If so, how's the added thickness feel? I don't believe dbrand has the glass cutout available?

You are correct. Thickness is fine, can't even tell with my clear Ringke Fusion case, which is nearly identical to the Spigen posted in OP

I did some surgery and cut out the top and bottom from a red skin.

I put it off for a while because I couldn't be bothered with the whole hairdryer thing. Waiting for my orange and white carbon fiber to come though, had to go with the G cutout as well :good:

I order a Skin from China, forgot the link tho. It's Carbon Fibre Texture, Feels like it and it's so FREAKING GOOD. The G logo is from DBRAND for Pixel device. The bumper is metal and Black coloured also from China. Total spent is just around 35USD

How does the carbon fiber feel? I had a matte skin on the back of my OnePlus X and liked it a lot. The only skins I can find for the Honor 8 are from Skinomi, SlickWraps, and some Asian vendors on eBay.

How do you like this? Could you compare this case with the tpu case that came with the phone? And also what do you think about the screen protector? I got iq shield from amazon but not happy with the fingerprints.
