Hi, I want to buy a moto g 2014 but I love modding and I found so in this forum there are a lot of rom that in moto g 2014 are absent. My question is: Can I run moto g roms on moto g 2014 or I should buy a moto g?

You cannot use Moto G (2013) ROMs on Moto G (2014.)

the moto G i have is model XT1045 LTE and from what i can tell from the quick start it has a memory card slot and it came with android 4.4.4 out of the boxs

bump as I have this on my moto e 2015 LTE and since moto g 2015 has the same processor, a similar method should work for both devices if there's a way to fix it.

no, still searching. I've only come up with tools for Moto G 2013, not Moto E 2015 or Moto G 3rd gen.

Still waiting for a blankflash solution.
As of October 2015, FutureTel, the largest service shop in Canada, doesn't have a working qboot for the Moto G 3rd Edition.
Either this model doesn't have a qusb/qblock recovery capability, or Lenovo (nee Motorola) hasn't shared it with their partners.

Nope, completely different device... They share a name and for the most part that's it.
