[Completed] Shell has been granted superuser permission - XDA Assist

While using my phone it suddenly displays " Shell has been granted superuser permission"? What is it & how to get rid of it ?
Sent from my GT-S7562 using XDA Free mobile app

If you want to keep root, you can't get rid of it. What this is is the system telling you that something running had requested root access.

It is shown by uc browser. Is there not any other method to get rid of?

There is an xposed module that will remove all toast notifications.

If you mean to change the permissions granted to an app when it is installed... 'LBE privacy guard' is the way to go!
btw..you will need root access for this.
Hi Arpit
My sgap is already rooted and I was used LBE, but after installation it my device is rebooted again n again, so I uninstalled it.
Plz suggest any other options.

As the dude above me said- try to flash root again:

Yea, I agree with the above. A simple reboot may also help. I know Samsung can be a bit sneaky with updates that can take away root.

assuming you have root and root explorer installed,
open root explorer and navigate to system/app/ your app
long press on your app and a menu will come up
scroll down to "create shortcut" and click it
you all done now there should be a shortcut of your app on the home screen.
i tried it, it works.

Use a file explorer
I recommend ES file explorer
1 . Open es file explorer
2 . Grant root access
3 . Change browse permission through root menu
4 . Goto root /system/app menu and delete which app you want
Remember, thing what you are doing before deleting it .

Click to collapse
5 . Reboot device (necessary for some apps )
You successfully deleted a system app

So you've used root checker and says your device is rooted? If so I believe you do have root access the app should work regardless of having root or not, have you got superuser installed?
root checker says I don't have root..but my Barclays app nd pingit app both says they don't work on rooted phones nd unable to use them....
so I really don't no if I do have root or not???
yea I got supersu installed

Have you bought the phone from the store, or second hand? If it's from a store, i don't think it's rooted.

You can use root checker app, and I believe you do have root have you got busybox installed? Also if you go into your settings on superuser there's a option to install into /system if you do this it should sort out your problem
There is nothing in there mate at all
