Hey guys,my local phone shop in europe gave me a free huawei y330.I had much weaker phones and they worked good with stock rooms and even better with cyonagen and etc...the problem is the stock room on this plastic makes me wanna cry-there is no app menu,everything goes to desktop and I can't uninstal ****,70%of Ram is used by the system and it lags...I googled for 2 hours and I can't find how can I instal a custom ROM or ROOT or anything As far as I know there is no custom rom,but if I could root it and uninstall not needed apps maybe it would run smoother.Can anyone help me?

I have just bought a CSL switch mi280 QT..i rooted it but cant do anything with it because i cant find any custom roms available and its running on android 2.2.2 which is kinda outdated.. any1 here got any custome rom available for the phone?

i've got thee same phone too. Runs well because it's on stock rom and I also use Zeam launcher which is blazing fast, but yeah there's no custom rom for the phone, and do you mind telling me what do you use to root it? Thank you
Hi wat launcher is that? mine came with go launcher ex when i bought it.
i used gingerbreak to root it...very easy~
search for Zeam Launcher in Play store. Go launcher very meh maaa and resource heavy also. So how is your phone doing? any probs so far?
and also, do you know if there are any cases sold for this phone? rubber casing or hard plastic. If they are sold, tell me where okay? Thank you in advance
i kinda messed up my recovery, now i cant do factory reset or go into recovery.
is it possible for you to copy your recovery.img and send it to me?

Well, I guess nobody wanna "play" with this phone, it was designed mainly for business, not for entertainment. We just have to wait until CSL release the official Gingerbread ROM for this phone .

Already emailed CSL & ask them when the update will be available but they replied ( kinda rude ) ... with "no" only,nothing else...

Hello at all,
I got a phone from Korea which isn't that bad. It's a SKY IM-A690S running Gingerbread 2.3.4.
I am very unhappy with the stock system applications (Dialer,Contacts, Messaging,Browser). They are some kind of "ugly" and some parts are in Korean.
The phone is already unlocked and rooted.
My question now is:
Can I make a backup of the rom, modify it and flash it back again?
I just want to remove all APKs and replace them with some "general" APKs (taken from cyanogenmod 7 for example).
Or is there an easier way?

i just got my new android smartphone, im surfing here alot but im new registered user so i cant put link after 10 messages...
the smartphone is NO.1 I9400 can be found in sites like pandawill and lightake.
and i got some question... by the way the phone have root and the normal android recovery
1. i wonder if i can put on it rom that beased on other phone
because there is no custom rom for this one..and the rom i got with him is lame,
2. where can i get the rom that already on the phone..is it possible? the company have no web...or at least i didnt found the site.
3. is there any rom that made to work on all phone
i mean to install it and it will reconize the phone hardware and all, like a general rom for all phone
4. is it possible to put total clean ics 4.1.2? that never have been change on this phone? if so where can i download it?
i have 4.1.2 but it look like it have been customed by the supplier..
5. can i take custom rom like cm9 and change it to work with my phone? like self customize it but in nooby way with guild because im not a developer so i have no experience with building roms...

Ever since I have installed my daily use apps the phone has started to lag like hell.

Hi everyone,
I just joined xda and i desperately want to root my infocus m810 running 5.0.2. I tried my best in searching through the internet to find a method. I have already tried most of the one click root methods like kingroot ,kingoroot,vroot, towelroot etc and have also tried their respective PC versions via ADB to no avail.
In focus m810 is a beautifully crafted device with Snapdragon 801 ,2 GB ram and for the price of Rs8500 (i.e 130USD) i was the happiest man in the world. But I have to admit that i really hate the way inlife ui looks and the bloatware it has. Its clogging up my ram , draining my battery and i can't do a thing about it with out root . It kills me to core ,that i can't find a way to fix this and you guys are my last hope.Please help :crying: .Counting on you guys, Thanks in advance.
