I have Xperia Miro I want to upgrade it to kitkat but officially it haven't been released for Xperia miro so what i have to do to get my miro upgraded
Hi @Jayesh4all
Since there isn't an official Kitkat update for your device released, your only resort is to use custom firmware. It seems there are Alpha Cyanogenmod 11 builds for this device.
What is Cyanogenmod?
Code:
CyanogenMod is an aftermarket firmware for a number of cell phones based on the open-source Android operating system. It offers features not found in the official Android based firmwares of vendors.
CyanogenMod is based of AOSP and is the closest you'll come to stock Android. Bear in mind that this build is still in Alpha stages and will be buggy.
This is the only way you can use Android KitKat on you Xperia Miro.
Cheers!
Really helpful

thanks alot for your help
so which would be better for now Kitkat or Jelly bean and if i update to jelly bean will i be able to upgrade to kilkat in future ??
This: {MIRO/TIPO/J/E}[DEVELOPMENT] - CM10 - FreeXperia Project seems to be the least buggy CyanogenMod build. Yes there is a good chance that they resolve the bugs for the CM11 ( Kitkat ) build and make it fully usable.
Cheers!
Is there any thread which tracks Nexus 5 Lollipop Based Custom Roms.
A thread basically tracking what all ROMs are available and their stability test. I am still on Kitkat and will upgrade to Lollipop only when a stable Custom Rom on Lollipop will be available as I don't like android without proper rooting and other customizations.
TIA
Most of the lollipop ROMs can be found in the development section.
This one is my recommendation- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2932747
I have been using various 5.1 roms for the past 3 weeks... Lollipop roms are constantly giving me problems. So i want to try a 4.4 ROM...
Which is the most stable 4.4 ROM the OPO has ever got..??
It needs to have the best battery life and lot of customisations...
And should I flash a stock 4.4 ROM before trying any custom kitkat rom..?

See my post below, running CM11s with Boeffla's kernel (with touch fixes). You could set it up as a secondary on multirom. You just need to flash the cm11s modem. See the other link below for running lollipop and CM11s alongside each other.

CM11S (44S or 05Q) is actually the most stable kitkat rom
You can find AOSP kitkat rom(Stock Android) on oneplus forums build by oneplus team
If you want any add-ons, you can install xposed with the above ROMs
