i have an notionink adam 2 tablet . i had rooted the tablet using kingo app and installed viper4android effects and chosen it in place of default in music effects . one day the tablet was infected by a virus and became too slow so i did a factory data reset without unrooting or disabling theh viper4android effect. after that the sound and autorotation stopped working . there is no notification or alarm or any media sound from the tablet using headphone , internal a well as external speakers as well as using bluetooth speakers . cm 11 kitkat update was available and was advied so i did the same . everything installed fine , the autorotation started working but sound still not working . please help and provide some insight as how to approach the problem . it was working very fine just before factory reset so i am sure it not a hardware issue . the volume panel appears greyed out similar to when a driver is missing in pc and panels are greyed out . any help will be of immense benefit as rest of the tablet is working wonderful.

Asking for help there will likely not help. And there's no Adam 2 section. So your best is to ask for help here,

Your best option is probably to install the stock firmware again completely. You may need to try Google search or contact the manufacturer about the firmware and flashing instructions.

I have recently bought a karbonn titanium octane and it has many inbuilt unnecessary apps installed so i tried to root it to uninstall those apps.... but i ony got half success it was not fully rooted when i power it on with power key + volume downkey it shows a menu with something with chinese or japanese language which i dont understand ....so i cant able to do anything with that....sooo plzzz any one help me to unroot my device or fully root it... if it is necessary to flash firmware in this device i am also ready to do that... but i am a newbie to this android devices... i have lastely flashed only firmware to a java devices ... so plz also help me how to flash new firmwares into this device..... as one of my friend told me that it can unroot it if i flash new firmwares... i have also tried factory resetting it but it have'nt worked... it is till showing that menu when i am pressing power key + volume downkey.... SO HELP ME ANYONE

Hi,everybody so my camera doesn't work and i suppose it's not due to flashlight because i didn't open it like for 1 month and camera is crashing 5 times a day.I tried clearing cache,data,clearing cache partition and hard reset,disabling nuPlayer and nothing works.I entered the safe mode and it worked perfectly
so I suppose it's due to third party apps.Here is a list of my apps and please try to find what is the problem.I'm nervous and frustrated every day I'm even thinking on buying an Iphone .Also everybody who's got similiar problems please share it over here so we can kill it once for ever.My device isn't rooted and i'm runing 5.0.1 stock Lollipop(was rooted on 4.4.4,xposed installed,bootloader unlocked)now the bootloader is locked,the phone isn't rooted,no custom recovery,no xposed module,everything is stock.So i suspect it's an third party app causing it so here it is the list of my apps.Cheers!

Hello I need some guidance repairing my phone right now I have no
way to record video from my camera and also it will not play back video
its not just about Youtube it seems my system is corrupt and there is
a reason for it I also lost the playstore.
My phone was rooted with Framaroot been good for a while now no issues
I installed fonts from the playstore I chose a font to use, it rebooted as
soon as I did and was stuck on the Samsung boot screen what I now know is
a bootloop, so I decided to try to fix it be installing ClockworkMod and

I am rooted have SuperSu installed made a backup from following the guide in the
link above i took a chance
it worked my device boots now but not having video or Playstore is the pits, what can I do to fix?
I would like to have my original system back Im assumming the backup I made with cwm is also going to have the bootloop again if you need more information just ask I really dont know what direction to go at this point.
Also I was running Gingerbread 2.3.6 the Rom I installed is 2.3.5

SO i decided to root my phone with odin v3 9.0 and CF auto root from a youtube video and after the root has finished ( I cannot even tell if my phone rooted because my root checker app doesnt work anymore. ) i noticed my apps had been uninstalled. So i tried to open playstore and right when it almost opened the app crashed. It didnt say anything like unfortunately this app stopped working .
if anyone knows anything about this please help. I am worried if i factory reset from the settings it will mess up

Hi everyone. Hoping to get some advice on here as I'mstarting to pull my hair out.
I'v got a Galaxy Note 10.1 Gt-N8010 running KitKat 4.4.2 and I have rooted the device.
My problem is that I cannot increase the speaker volume on the unit. The volume is significantly poor when trying to watch a film.
I've tried using various apps including volume+ but none of them seem to work.
Does anyone have an idiots guide on how to hack the settings within the unit.
I have tried using ES File Explorer but could not gget into settings.
