[Q] Debian chroot OTG WiFi adapter help - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone!
I recently installed Kali Linux via chroot onto my OnePlus One.
I did this via Linux Deploy.
Now i am trying to use a USB WiFi card via an OTG adapter.
The WiFi card is a RTL8187B.
I am familiar with Debian but i am not with compling.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I fogot to mention that lsusb shows the card.

Sounds like your in the same boat as me try this guide I found let me know how it goes. I know you will need an app called pcap to mount the dongle https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/29748-external-wi-fi-adapter-in-android/

[Q] Clockworkmod as a bootloader

Hi guys,
Do you think it is possible to add this feature to ClockworkMod?
It should be able to boot a Linux Distro from microSD / SD / USB or even form the internal SSD.
This maybe give sbkv2 users a native ubuntu.
Thanks,

[APP] USB Boot creator

I'm looking for an app similar to unetbootin that allows me to create a Ubuntu/Windows7 bootable USB or hopefully even an micro SD card to install these operating systems. My net book crashed and I was trying to whip together a quick install back onto my net book. Thanks guys

what you can do is to use the DD command, to "burn" and .ISO to the usb drive.
there are Linux instructions all over google, so you may want to search some more information first.
just be careful where you where you put your destination drive.
the linux command "mount" can help you locate your usb drive. its usually a /dev/xxxx
all of these are done in the terminal, and it should help you get a flavor of linux that you like on to the usb and bring your net book to live.
wow! thank you so much brother!

[Q] MTP - Android File Transfer worked...now does not

I have an LG Metro PCS phone that I just recently was able to root w/towelroot and was able to transfer apps to the SD card by using terminal on my Mac (Mavericks) system. 1. I plugged the droid in and (Android File Transfer) would open and I was able to manipulate the phone.
2. When I was on my Linux MInt laptop I tried to do the same thing but Linux would not see the phone so I screwed around with it and was not successful. 3. Now that I am back on the Mac I cannot see the phone through AFT and so I cannot manipulate the device for apps and moving to SD card.
What did I do that F'd up the MTP functionality? Any help from you Guru's would be greatly appreciated. BTW ---Great forum and website!!!! :fingers-crossed:

Installing Android on Windows Tablet

Im using this sites turorial (http://forum.xda-developers.com/win...opment/live-asus-t100-ta-magic-stick-t3091481) to install android on my windows tablet (stream 7), this is working great, I can plug my usb into the tablet and run android off of that. But I would like this to be bootable off of my microsd card or a partition on the windows drive, as far as I can tell this cannot be done with out a keyboard attachment for the tablet, that isnt a problem but I also need the USB plugged in at the same time! The tablet only has one port and the tutorial is requiring 2, is there anyway I can install android on the drive not the usb with out using a keyboard?
Thanks for the help!
