So recently I installed a KitKat based Axxion kat rom on S2 plus. Now i wanted to check out the android lollipop based Resurrection remix rom but here I occured my problem. I installed the rom and gapps and booted my phone but now that I had to insert my Sim password, I entered it but there is no Ok or Cancel button. Is this normal for lollipop, is there another way to press that "ok" button? Do you have any solutions? Could this be a problem due to not installing Resurrection Remix not on my stock android?
All the best, Kaarel.

Installed twice. In the first step (choosing language) it says "unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped", the screen goes black and I can only shut down or reboot, no more .
Thanks for your work! Let see if people has this problem too :good:

installed gapps before or after fist boot?
In the first install after the rom, as always. In the second install I flashed the rom without gapps to see what happen, and same result :/
Flashed it. As said above, there's a setup wizard problem that after picking a language it crashes the setup continuously.
I also got the gapps from your site for 4.4 for the best minimal experience with great performance
flashing the google dialer makes com.android.phone continously crash and have no service
I tried flashing w/o gapps and the setup comes again which is really weird, again it crashed
I then tried flashing w/o gapps again but this time formatted system (most install scripts format systems but some people forget to do it) and the setup didn't show up that time and was butter smooth.
After booting up w/o gapps, i tried flashing your gapps again, and it did flash. No setup wizard, though. But Google Settings and Play Store worked fine.
Also, would be nice if you could include AOSP browser, but i'm not sure if it fits the roms purpose(lightweight)

Wierd going to make a test flash on my nexus tablet to so if the problem exists there!
EDIT:
Did a install test run on my nexus tablet and getting no error here when i install the rom + gapps
here are the steps I did
1. Download latest build for my device
2. downloaded the 4.4.2_20140306_gapps
3 Placed it all on the SD Card
3. rebooted device in Recovery mode
4. did a Data/Factort reset
5. did a format /system (its in the Mounts and Storage Menu)
Installed the Rom and Rebooted the Device
6. Rebooted in to recovery mode
7. Installed the gapps
8. Rebooted Device
9. Everything is working fine..
If you still get a error then it's device specific... Than it's something I must do research on please let me know
Since this is official, shouldn't it be in Original Development?
Sent from my Moto G using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

CM is not official or is it?
That a custom ROM is official because is compiled by some DEV on that Custom ROM team does not mean this ROM has the requirements to get Original Developement Title.
More things than being official are needed in fact to get Original Developement custom ROM status.
Works !

Problem after installation
Hi,
Thanks for your work on this.
After installing it and rebooting the phone, the setup screen just stays on for about 5 seconds and then goes to a blank screen without any options and it's not possible to do anything.
There isn't any option even to call the dialer to insert PIN.
Can you please confirm that there isn't any issue with the ROM?

Hi,
Already checked you tube for tutorials.
Done again all wipes.
Reinstall it again, after being stuck in lockscreen once more, this time i've pressed the charge increasing number and going completely down, i've the dialer... now a new problem raised, i've the numbers but not the button to press ok...
If i press the center and move up, i've access for the camera, after pressing power button back again into lockscreen.
I'm stuck in lockscreen...
Thanks for your help, but still no luck
Hi,
Problem solved after around 10 reboots i was able to setup.
What is happening is the following, after reboot when the phone starts up after around 2 seconds the lock screen becames active and the dialer is bigger than the screen and doesn't show the complete dialer, it's missing 0 and ok.
After the setup is complete that took the all process around 10 reboots, everything starts up correctly.
Good work on the ROM, very fluid, so far no problems detected.
Keep up the good work.
What app did you use to root the zte blade l2 ? cuz i cant find anything good..
I used Kingo Root app to root it, but I don't seem to be able to install custom recovery. Help anyone?
I want to ask if there is any problem (flicker screen, red notification on booting up...) when I install CM11 from stock 5.0.2 on Falcon Moto G XT1032? (follow this official guide on CyanogenMod: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_falcon)
Thank you.
I've done this recently and the only issue I've noticed is the screen flickering problem. The solution is to simply press the power button to lock the screen then unlock it and it should be fixed. You only have to do this once but if you reboot your phone you will have to lock/unlock again on first boot.
Thank you for your answer. Just to be sure, did you follow CM guide? Is there anything important which I should be careful about? (I did the same thing with several phones but still noob)
I just booted into custom recovery (I use Philz) and wiped the different partitions along with /cache and /dalvik. You can follow the guide and use the push method or you can use sideload which I did.
I did that and now i have problems with the mac address (i was using 5.1.1) my shows me a different mac and i don't know how fix it, but if i back to LP the problem is solved.
It's a bootloader issue for sure and general happen because you're bootloader is updated to Lolipop 5.0.2 and now you install kitkat as cm 11 over Lolipop.
In simple words your bootloader is new while the software is old
screen flickering issue can be resolved by downgrade bootloader but "BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS" failed to upgrade bootloader make your device permanently dead and downgrading is not recommended....
I will recommend try cm12.1 it's rock solid stable as cm11
I finished installed CM 11, firstly the prob is screen flickering. Then after installing all my apps, the android.com.systemui was crashed over and over and cannot use anymore. I reflashed CM and gapps and reinstalled apps but it happened again. Finally, I had to returned to Lollipop.
Anyway, thank you all for your help
Same thing happened to me unfortunately but I've found this one here and it is working beautifully. Try it and see if it works for you without the constant systemui errors.
Thank you. At the moment i am quite happy with GPE version. It seems that this version GPE 5.1.1 is better than Moto stock one.
Good morning guys, sorry about the english. So, a while back I installed the 12.1 cm in my GT I9515L (Galaxy S4 VE), the rom was running normally, but i had some problems in some applications that were not compatible with the version BOJ1 (Lollipop). I performed the downgrade of the same for AJN1 (KitKat) to reinstall the CyanogenMod above, the problem is that whenever I go into recovery mode, time to flash the GAPPS, one error appears saying that the version isn't compatible. I performed the test of reset the machine without installing any version of gapps, and the cell was automatically updated to version Lollipop. I would like to ask for your help because I am unable to keep KitKat version in Cyano. I think that it's a litte mine mistake on wipes or in version of cyano, but I googled a lot and found nothing. Thank you guys.
I recently purchased a used one plus one. Updated to 7.0 that however is causing an issue with WiFi connectivity it removed the option to switch between 2.4 GHz and 5.0ghz and is now set permanently on 5.0ghz as a result my WiFi connections drops randomly and sometimes requires a restart to reconnect. Basically in asking for the steps to roll back my is to 6 where I can switch to 2.4fhz band with permanently and resolve the issue. The device is rooted and has twrp. Also ibwoukdnlove a very bare bones os recommendation.
Thanks
First of all "wipe everything except internal storage"
secondly, Flash This Firmware: Recommended firmware
Finally, Flash This ROM: LOMS based on Official LineageOS
Enjoy

there is no bloatware in that ROM which i have already suggested [LOMS], It's based on Official LineageOS , the developer just add 2 things:
1- Substratum Theme Engine Commits
2-Color Engine
N.B: Anyway if you want to use OS6 ROM, then try Sultan ROM or Jgcaap ROM
Good Luck :good:
