FOLLOW THE STEPS
- GO TO "SETTINGS"
- CLICK ON "ABOUT PHONE"
- CLICK 4-5 TIMES ON "Software Version" (Developer Options will be activated)
- CLICK "BACK BUTTON"
- SELECT "DEVELOPER OPTIONS"
- CLICK ON "USB DEBUGGING" TO ACTIVATE IT
- CLICK ON "OK" BUTTON
- CONNECT YOUR NOKIA X2 DATA CABLE (MOBILE TO COMPUTER OR LAPTOP)
- IN MOBILE SCREEN SMALL MESSAGE WILL APPEAR TO ACCEPT USB DEBUGGING "TICK ON SMALL BOX THEN PRESS OK BUTTON"
- EXTRACT THE DOWNLOADED FILE AND RUN "start.bat"
- ENTER THE VALUE OF REQUIRED TASK AND PRESS ENTER
- ALL DONE.

1 - turn off your X2
2 - keep pressed volume-up then press power key (volume-up keep pressed)
3 - from cwm make complete backup of your x2
4 - copy downloaded zip file to sd card
5 - look for INSTALL ZIP inside cwm
6 - after finish installation - restart - thats it.

Now while holding 1 key on keyboard power it on
-> u will enter Download mode
-> extract zip to desktop
-> start odin

-> now in pit select pit file and on PDA select modem.tar
-> click start (let it complete)

to go back u can use -> go back last option on menu or powerkey or touch back button.

If u want to take backup of ur current system
-> goto 6th option backup and restore setlect it
-> select backup let it perform backup.
Before flashing rom u need to clear data in order to avoid clashes
-> Goto 3rd option Wipe data/factory reset select it
-> select yes
flashing rom
-> goto 5th option install zip from sdcard select it
-> select 2nd option choose zip from sdcard
-> select ur zip file and select yes
flashing no wipe update
no wipe update are to be installed as addon u dont need to wipe ur system to install that
-> goto 5th option install zip from sdcard select it
-> select 2nd option choose zip from sdcard
-> select ur zip file and select yes
If u want to go back to restore of ur backup
-> goto 6th option backup and restore setlect it
-> select restore select the proper data version u wanna restore and let it perfrom.

Yes, you will need to use the DK17 filesystem .tar as well as the modem .tar to ensure a clean flash. It is also recommended to flash back to DI18 through odin first, let it boot and then flash the DK17 files. This should get you up and running smoothly to flash this ROM.

As u can see the images above -> Launcher has been worked on it has 3d drawer effect on both sides + if there is any FC or problem with my customization i need to solve them

You should check Schizo's Epic Froyo... Fast and sweet. Best froyo I have loaded and believe me, I have loaded all of the existing ones out there ... Viper, Quantum, ACS, etc...

this looks like a nice work, but as an advice remove root explorer, see what happened to this rom , keep it up.

Yes, and then your graphics will be out of sync and stutter like hell. Benchmarks are not everthing and do not show everyday usage parameters.
Why does it need 5 launchers ? im confused, all the launchers are free to get off the market so i dont understand.

u choose what launcher u want to install, u have all those options and themes in the aroma installer so u can adjust them as u wish. here is a link to the aroma installer , it started as a project on the desire forum and then spread, amarullz is also known for his version of the data2sd script.

Thank you for your ROM, I really want to give it a try, downloaded it yesterday, before they closed your thread for paid apps, i tried flashing it several times with different configurations, but every time i do it - at first boot - the configuration Wizard which runs at first usage crashes/ Force-closes and i can'd do anything about it, if i reboot device- it goes to a bootloop.
EDIT: tried the non-paid version, same issue happens. Did a factory reset, choosed ADW Launcher, package MOD and Vitaliys kernel. Also, tried the default recommended configuration- same result:
"Произошла неожиданная остановка приложения Мастер настройки (процесс com.android.setupwizard). Повторите попытку."
Maybe you can make a short guide for correct installation procedure of your ROM. Even the Aroma Installer is something new for our i9001 community here. And by the way, what is "MOD" package you can select within the Aroma installer? Do we need it and for what?
hey, i can also give an advice, the thing is most of the XDA users do not speak russian and by default, on first boot russian language is selected - i'm quite sure that those russian letters can scare a lot of people here Please take into consideration changing the default language to english.

Steps to Install JupiterRom
1)Download the main Rom file (.zip) from the link given in the first post
2)Download Aroma Installer from here
3)Flash Feacore Recovery v1.2 (download it from here)
4)Boot into recovery,select "install zip from sdcard" select the aroma installer zip package
5)A splash screen will appear, then follow the on screen instructions (calibration of touch screen,selection of aroma theme)
6)Calibrate the screen to use touch screen (optional)
7)Select install demo (set to typical install ) and install it
8)Now it will ask you to reboot select select yes
9)Boot into recovery again select "insrall zip from sdcard"
10)select install file from internal sdcard, select jupiterrom.zip

Can I do somethin` NOT to start in russian language? and to actually show me a launcher?
Beside that install didn`t worked untill 3`rd try ...
If choosing the default configuration of installation within the Aroma Installer - it gives an error:
/tmp/ins_data/addons.prop": No such file or folder
This error does not show up on my phone if i select a custom installation. And what i choose is:
Full Wipe
ADW Launcher
Mod
Vitaliys Kernel
exactly after the ROM flashing, i flash the fix.zip you sugested within the CWM, and then reboot the phone.

Flashing instructions
As a safety precaution, always make a backup before flashing
1) Download the zip file and put in SD card
2) Boot to recovery mode (CWM, TWRP or Lewa Rec)
3) Flash the zip file you (from #1)
4) (optional, but highly recommended!) Do a factory reset
5) Reboot
6) Once you see the lock screen on first boot after the update, let it set for 1min (to fully settle the update)
7) Unlock and setup things (esp. if you did factory reset)
8) Restart

just flashed the Lewa Gthrill, tnx newbie
- LED indicator ok, BTW I noticed that ICS version has 3 Color indicator R-G-B
- wifi/ data/ GPS is ok
- nice music player w/ artist & lyrics (internet needed)
- stock lockscreen not sensitive, must touch a few times, changed to pattern seems ok
- Theme chooser always FC
- some apps, wechat, chikka, text. sometimes suddenly just close
- still testing the batt. life
- so far so good

CMW recovery flashed but no go
Hi there,
I tried to get into the newly flashed CWMR but somehow I've failed. What I've done is use mobileuncle tools to get into CWM 5 and from there flash the zipfile I've downloaded from the sources. Now the CWM app does boot into recovery but I get this little android figure with a ! from it's belly. Not good I suppose.
I'd realy like to try out this rom but without working recovery I'm a bit scared I'm going to brick the thing....
Could you please advise??

boot into normal Android and run MTKTools again and flash CWMR... this time, do it three (3) times in a row, before rebooting.

i'm not sure, may be you need correct drivers installed to your pc.

Didn't work. Got it working using the dd method (way easier if you ask me ).
Now, I've installed CWM 5.5.0.4 in /dev/recovery but when trying to flash the zip file for the LewaOS rom it gives me 'cannot open file'. Is that because I need the newer version of CWM mentioned in the opening post? Or just something else? Perhaps because there's 'spaces' in the filename? I'll let you know if I find something out there !

I downloaded the correct rom but still no go It just doesn't want to install the rom...

Everything is fine.
I think is slower than original ICS 4.0.4 ROM, but stable and good.
Keep up good work!
***Update:***
Battery life much improved, at least 15-20%
I found this ROM very good so far.
There's only small issue with some mobile web sites. Some of the links cannot be open.
I've installed Opera browser in addition but is exactly the same so
I'm not sure: maybe there is a problem in ROM or badly written mobile web sites.

MTK FLASHING TUTORIAL
CWM recovery creation & flashing/installation:
CREATING CWM FLASHABLE FILES
download MTK Droid Tools (posted in main thread)
download latest Original iOcean X7 firmware (posted in main thread)
connect Your phone via USB cable with 'usb debugging' option on in "developer options" menu in Settings
run MTK Droid Tools and give it few seconds to start ADB and recognize your cell
move to second tab in main window called "root, backup, recovery"
select option "To choose the boot.img file" & press big button named "Recovery and Boot"
in this step choose the "boot.img" file from original FW
next choose "recovery.img" file from original FW
the program will compile CWM automatically
new "boot" and "recovery" img files will be created in MTK Droid Tools folder (in "recovery" subfolder)
FLASHING CWM USING SP FLASH TOOL
download and open SP Flash Tool (posted in main thread)
make sure you have the MTK USB drivers installed in Your system
open "MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt" from original iOcean X7 firmware (posted in main thread)
de-select all checkboxes in main window except those named "BOOTIMG" and "RECOVERY"
now click on the filename next to "BOOTIMG" and navigate to "boot.img" file created in MTK Droid Tools
next click on the filename next to "RECOVERY" and navigate to "recovery.img" file created in MTK Droid Tools
now shutdown Your phone and remove battery for a few seconds, then put it back in
click "Download" button placed in the top meny bar in SP Flash Tool
now connect Your phone using USB cable and watch the magic happen ("OK" with green circle should appear)
start Your phone - CWM is in place - to enter, power off the phone and use VOL+ & POWER buttons when connected to charger
FLASHING CWM USING MOBILEUNCLE TOOLS
copy "recovery.img" file created with MTK Droid Tools to the root of Your SD card (internal or external - it doesn't matter)
download "mobileuncle tools" from Play Store on Your rooted phone
start the application and grant it su rights
choose "Recovery Update" option and You'll see your previously copied "recovery.img" file from SD card
click it and confirm that You want to flash it
you can enter CWM via MobileUncle app or by using VOL+ & POWER button combination when phone is turned off and powered via charger
TWRP recovery creation & flashing/installation:

Stock firmware ROOT
make sure You have turned on 'usb debugging' option on in "developer options" menu in Settings
download "motochopper" application (posted in main thread)
connect Your phone using USB cable to computer
unpack the archive and start the application
now just confirm that You want to root Your phone and wait till it reboots voila !!

I'm back to the official 0520 ROM. Your ROM made my phone stuck at random times for about 20 seconds.
When I receive this phone somewhere next month I think I will flash your ROM very soon. That Chinese crap doesn't need to be on my phone

Great!...really thanks!...as I wrote, not all the phone carrier stop tethering, so maybe with one it works but with another not!..

That's strange:/ my camera is working well... What version of my rom did You install? And what original FW version was initially installed on Your cell?

First thing after I flash your rom was test GPS, but unfortunately still not working..
Don't know how were You testing GPS, but everythings working on my phone :/
First of all - Stop GPS in Settngs and edit gps.conf file and replace NTP servers to ones matching Your country - http://www.pool.ntp.org
Next, download GPS Test app from Market and clear current A-GPS configuration. Reboot Your phone, start GPS andf go to its configuration in Settings.
Enable EPO and download lates data, enable A-GPS and use 'Nokia' servers instead of 'Google'.
Now start GPS Test app and go outside for a few minutes - satellites should appear in a while

Locked Bootloader Installation Instructios
I recomend staring on rooted .31 firmware. Make a nandroid backup before you do anything
1a) download rom zip & ftf file place rom zip on the root of sdcard not in a folder.
2)Download & install CWM from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2333078 the jb kernel to reflash is .21 FW just flash my kernel ftf.
3) Boot into CWM wipedata/factory reset wipe cache partition Navigate to Advanced wipe Dalvik cache
4) Next navigate to mounts & storage format/system (ONLY SYSTEM)
5) Next go to install zip from sdcard. Then Choose zip from sdcard. Find my AVD Rom V1.x.zip install.
6) When Installation has finished navigate back to advanced and choose fix permitions
7) After that take the battery out for at least 10 seconds[/COLOR] (NOOB'S DO NOT LET THE PHONE BOOT UP AS THE ICS KERNEL IS STILL INSTALLED YOU WILL GET A BRICK)
7) Take out battery Flash my kernel ftf or you can use vengeance kernel.
8) Open flashtool drag my Stock Kernel ftf file you downloaded into the flashtool window when files have finished preparing connect phone in flashmode (hold vol- key while connecting usb) when its finished flashing reboot. Enjoy.

Unlocked Bootloader Installation Instructions
1) Download rom zip, ftf & Addon if you want it. place Rom & Addon zip on externel sdcard
2) Fastboot CM10 kernel for CWM. Boot into CWM
3) Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partiton, go to advanced wipe dalvik cache. then go to mounts & storage format system.
4) Go to install zip from sdcard choose zip from externel sdcard. flash rom.
5) when installation is finished go back to advanced choose fix permissions.
6) Next take out battery open flashtool & flash my kernel ftf
7) Reboot device. Enjoy

Addon Installation Instructions
1) Boot to CWM by the instructions for you bootloader status in first instrutions
2) Wipe cache partition & dalvik cache.
3) install zip from sdcard choose the addon you downloaded
4) After it has finished take out battery & flash kernel ftf then reboot.

2) Extract/unpack the zip to your sdcard
3) With you favorite root browser push systemui.apk to /system/app give permissions rw-r-r

Whoohooo, first time my name appears on a ROM development!!!
But I've got to say it's really a great rom, and for the first time I'm not sad about not beeing able to unlock my bootloader. Can wait a couple more years until someone figures that one out.

Don't format sdcard with CWM.
Download ROM again, it could be corrupted.

I've already installed a previous rooted version of this rom, and now this. A few times until I got it right. From the beggining to end, maybe 30/40 minutes. It's not that long. But I really hope that someone manages to put cwm working on JB.
But you should update to this rom, since it has Flashgordon working and any changes that are made to it will be easilly flashable.

I could probley port a CWM but i dont have a linux laptop im saving up for one but it will take quite a while plus id like to port cm10.1 for locked bootloader but again i have to wait for a linux laptop.
Poland has got method for the cwm for JB Well i installed this rom and i liked this....fast, light, smooth a few of the applications,all mods in one Great JOB gavster!!!!
