Hello i want to make the original apk of Accuweather widget of SGS 5 SM-G900F working in my SGS 2 plus GT-I9105P. I have already extracted the apk from the original ROM Kitkat 4.4.2.
Now how can i proceed and what I should modify for that's will work and thanks for all.

I can get it rooted but as soon as i want to load a custom rom its just fails i tried a couple out there

I cannot tell you what is the best rom most devs would kill me :silly:
But I can say that you should read carefully before starting a procedure and do it quietly. Good luck

hello guys i would like to share this work of mine. since there were only few of us developing for korean note 1.
note: do it at your own risk
REQUIREMENTS:
*Rooted note 1 shv-e160k jb 4.1.2 (deodexed)
*Root browser
*a little bit of knowledge in replacing apps
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. backup your original systemui.apk by opening root browser located in system/apps
2. download the file,after your download is done, place it anywhere inside your phone
3. open root browser, then copy the modified systemui.apk to system/apps. replace the old one
4. change the permission to rw-r--r--
5. restart and your done
faq: i dont know if this mods will work on other korean models.
if the systemui did not work, just replace it with the original one.
i am now working for my s5 rom for this version of note 1. its already 90% done

not working on cheese rom.
I need Samsung stock apps especially samsung group play apk and I want to install it on the cm12 rom which I am using on my galaxy grand duos i9082. Do please do help me by posting if you have it.

Stock Samsung apps will not work on cm12 since cm12 is aosp based and Samsung is touchwhiz based those apps u r looking require touchwhiz framework in order to work and cm12 has none of that framework GRP play will not work on cm12

Im currently back to stock rooted 4.4.2 BNI2 cause it is the only rom that can have s custom recovery.
I really need a way to record calls like in many other stock samsung rom.
Can anyone pls port Note4 or S5 SecPhone and SecContacts and its odex files to Grand 2 G7105 Lte version.
If no body wants to jump on this, can anyone refer me to a guide on how to port apk from one device to another

I am using Galaxy S4 (i9500) with rooted stock Russia rom 5.0.1 and i want to change my contacts and dialer screen like Galaxy S6. If it is possible i want to flash to my phone otherwise apks and other programs are not useful so i don`t want to use them.
Could you please inform, how can i port or find from somewhere ? Also you can share link and explanation...

For running the s6 contact and dialer. U need to use the s6 Ported ROM or N5 Ported ROM. Because with the s4 framework. It wont work.
