There's no switch to turn it off? I have 2 Jellybean 4.2 devices and one KK, and they all have a switch.

As @Planterz said above (thanks, bro!), there should be an on/off slider toggle in the top right corner of the Developer Options screen which, when toggled off, will turn off and hide Developer Options from view.

Uh.. you don't even need Xposed/custom ROM for data in quick settings? It's already a tile isn't it?

Carrier tile IS data tile. ._.
Long press it if you're on 100% stock, or use GravityBox to change it so that it switches around long and short press actions. Custom ROMs usually have it switched around already.

Long pressing carrier toggle takes you to mobile data usage tab where you can enable/disable data
Why not use power toggles?

Stock = Tap to enter the relevant Settings window, Long press to quick-toggle
Custom ROM = Tap to quick-toggle, Long press to enter relevant Settings window
Stock + GravityBox = you can choose which of the above, there's a setting for it

So you don't need to go to settings and toggle, right? In that case, most of the custom rom's has that feature by default. For example, PA has it by default.

I have gravity box and I tried it. Surprisingly tapping it goes into the setting but long press didn't do anything.

Unfortunately long press doesn't work on that tile with stock functionality. Would be nice though, not like it'd be confused with switching off the voice network since that isn't actually possible without going into airplane mode anyways.

Enabling Developer Options

I want to keep my Developer Options enabled so as to speed up the transitions and window animations scale, BUT WHENEVER I DO SO NOTIFICATION BAR BECOMES RED AND DISPLAYS A MESSAGE . Thus I disable the Developer Options.
Can someone please help me to keep Developer Options ON without that red notification bar.

That's a good work around.
But I want a proper solution to this, in some other post someone told me that disabling vivo service app might do the job , but there is no option to disable that app.
Edit: tried your method, working great as of now.

But disabling it will break AOD functionality.
Just go in to all applications find for instance on my phone (vivo service) and clear everything in there, it will remove the red bar in status bar and development options will still be running.. Happy.. ?

This works for me too..best solution right now if you dont want to rely on a 3rd party app that gets system access.

This is working for me. With people using Android 9, go to Settings > More Settings > App manager > click More on the upper right and look for vivoService > click Storage to Clear Data

Display in grayscale

Hey,
just noticed that my display is in grayscale. After rebooting the Bootanimation switches to grayscale too during boot up. Tried to press revert colours from quick tiles and it says that the Display calibration wont work after booting up the phone immediately. After 30 min. up this message is still the same.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
GM1913 with latest updates and Magisk + TWRP
Are you on a custom kernel? Possibly have greyscale enabled in kernel manager app if so.
No i got no custom Kernel. It just went grey. 10 minutes before all worked fine.
Display Calibration, reading mode and nightmode is greyed out in settings and i cant use them.

This is Wind Down, a feature in the Digital Wellbeing section of Settings. It grays the screen at night, but you can turn it off or adjust the times in Settings.
