hi,i m using cm10 JBMP on my miro...my question is how can i make illumination light bar works ?..i ve try install cm10 apks for a different
xperia phone but nothing happens..
As far as I know, illumination bar is a bit of a... side thing, let's say, for the main CM10 dev. In Xperia J (also on CM10) illumination bar works as a notification for text messages, Messenger and mostly stuff like this. I don't always notice it giving light notifications. You might just be stuck with it as is, unless later on somebody's going to take care of it.

As stated in title. It's annoying and I would like to turn it off, I have to clue how though. Anyone else gets annoyed by this "feature"? Let's try to find a solution together
Usually clears up a certain line in build.prop to turn off the LED , I think ..
Switch on stamina mode.......

Here is the compilation of problems posted below:
1.Proximity sensor remains on
Bug Description/Behaviour:
a)If Screen is off: Incoming call activates sensor and it does not go off if unanswered or ended.But if taken, it goes off normally at the end of call
b)If Screen is on: Incoming call does not activate sensor unless you take the call but it goes off normally at the end of call
2.Screen tearing visibly reduced but still present from time to time(Try swiping quickly through portrait pictures in Album app)
3.Video recorder still flickers during transition from well lit to dark areas and vice versa
4.Using Manual ISO while shooting with low light causes lags in preview
5.Sometimes ringtones or media is played through the earpiece instead of loudspeaker
Fixes:
1)Screen Flickering has been reported to be solved by factory reset
2)Bug 5eople report it to be solved with factory reset
3)Proximity workaround by @shivamcheat here
4)Screen tearing: Developer Options > check Disable HW overlays and Force GPU Rendering(tested ok) thanks to @faizur1999
There is a new wired bug with this update. Sometimes after hangup call the proximity sensor remain on. As the sensor is emitting a little visible red light, I can notice that clearly. Previous video recording screen flickering bug still exists.
even its new firmware latest update , its also got bug , no perfect update
, and i think XL life only in 4.2 no more no more official update 4.3 or 4.4 ,

Wtf, can't they do their job and fix bugs? If they used the phones at least for one day, there wouldn't be any bugs.

But I still have hope since our phone still support 4.3, even 4.4, z series and sp are just first raft, I don't know if there are second raft and third raft, but we still have a chance to get them, and xm too, but who have not much hope is xc, even if the phone have higher specs, but it doesnt stands out in market and not available in all markets...
All we have to do is hoping for update, don't be desperate.....

using firmware 1.31, 1.36, and 2.17 manual ISO and sport scene on low light lag does not exist
so i disagree that it comes from hardware
Got the update from Sony care v yesterday...... Phone is just fine ... No problems

Try factory reset, people have solved this problem by doing so
no problem so for but cant use some mods like previous updates (superuser mod, powertoggles etc...)
AOSP Rom is awesome but bugs sucks on that...........:silly:

If we get a missed call the proximity sensor gets activated and it never turns Off..It glows Until we make another call and cut the call..
when screen is on
If u get a call ,the sensor is activated only if you answer the call(that is, when you start speaking)..when you cut the call it gets off..
But when screen is off
If u get a call ,the sensor is activated, even before answering (that is ,when the call comes itself), and not turning off..

In previous version 15.A.3.0.26 The images are sharp.. But the Shutter Flash timing is horrible resulting in underexposed pictures.

bug no 2 did you try factory reset?
Still the loudspeaker bug is there. I mean, sometimes ringtones or media sounds played through the earpiece instead of loudspeaker. That bug was present in previous build too.
Why Sony released this update as there is nothing fixed in this release. At least the should check our opinions and bug reports before rolling up new build. Shame on Sony.

I bought phone updated to 5.0.2 and i have issue with flash light. When taking pictures flash works just fine, but when i try to use it as flashlight during video recording or
clicking flashlight widget from quickmenu it doesn't work. Flash just blinks and doesn't turn on.
I was wondering do any of you had a similar problem ?

I also tried many flashlight apps from play store but same problem, blinks and goes off!

i hear sound when i turn phone On .. but no image in screen ... i try change with new screen but no image too.
