I was given a few from radioshack but It involves me trimming them to fit. I suck at that **** and it never comes out right. Is there a proper way tot rim the screen protectors and measure them? I took off the oem one because the tab kept pulling itself off
Forget universal. go to a t-mobile corp store and buy them there, you get two and they cover the screen completely.
Alway use the ones u gotta cut they cost less an I have muli devices with different size screens

I was the same way. but I feel that the universal ones are of a lesser quality and tend to scratch easier. Also cutting them just right is a pain.

I got my G2 yesterday and bought the screen protectors from T-Mobile. Didn't have them do it in store because I was in a hurry and when I got home and applied them they leave the screen looking very fuzzy.
Anyone else noticed this?
I am taking them back tomorrow.

Yea I was just discussing this in another thread with someone else. I do like the feel of them plus they get no smears or fingerprints for me so good for swype and I'll wait til it goes bad then I'll go to ebay and buy like 10 for 5 dollars, they always work good for me from ebay and they take a while to scratch

Did you get the anti-smear screen protectors?
If so, how are they... i am still shaky on spending 15 dollars on (2) screen protectors
Yes these are the anti smear screen protectors and I am taking them back today. It bothers me to look at the screen for too long because it looks like it really gives a green or pink tint depending on how you look at the screen.

How does the screen protector feel with this product? It it kind of like the invisible shield? or it it more of a glossy "glass" like feel?
I had the MyTouch 3G and i could buy these awesome glossy screen protectors that felt just like the glass. Fast forwarded to the HD2 (just wanted a phone to mess around with) and the matte screen diffusers really irked me, so i dont want more of those if i can avoid it.

Not only are they anti-smear they are anti-glare. compare the protector to another glossy type and you will see that the glossy will reflect, while the ant-smear almost does not. you gain anti smudge/glare , but know the protector is disturbing the clarity of the screen. I just ordered Stealth Guards. I had this on my HD2. Its a copy of the invisible shield. It does not include the solution for install, but you can make your own, instructions included. It's free right now , only pay shipping (same deal on my HD2) 4 kits ran me $8.85. My HD2 has had it on about 6 months and it looks great and gives a nice feel to the phone.
I've read nothing but good reviews of this screen protector, had to get some for myself. I can't wait for that glass feel.

Does anyone know if the Vikuiti sp is better than the Realook sp? I had a Realook one for Vibrant but they have yet to make one for the G2.

I am looking for anti-smear screen protectors. I know t-mobile is selling them but everyone says, it makes the screen look a bit grainy?
If anyone comes accross something like that, please let us know

All anti-smear/glare protectors give a grainy look. it is due to the texture of the material. since it diffusing the clarity of the reflection it also diffuses the screen. ask an employee at a store if they can open a pack for you, so you can lay over the protector on your phone so you can get an idea.
personally its not that horrible. i just have it on until my stealth guards arrive.
Just ordered some stealth guards
I have had success with ebay seller dcmugen but don't know if he has our model yet.
You can get pre-cut sp's for cheap but if you really insist on cutting it like i did because i had an couple of hd2 sp's laying around use the plastic that came on the screen as a guide. take an exacto blade to it. i didn't want to mess with 2 rounded edges so i left the flat side and placed it above the menu buttons.
i tell you this much though, if you cut them the edges will be lifted slightly from the cut unless you file it. needless to say this is just a temporary solution for me until i either decide to return it or keep the phone in which case i would buy a pre-cut one.
I would like to get a case/rotating stand for my GNote10.1. ( I will be buying from NewEgg. )
Looking at cases I discovered that a lot come in packages with screen protectors. An example is. ( This one is not the particular one I am interested in. It was just the first in my search. ) I thought if the protectors were any good I would get one.
So a few questions about screen protectors.
The most major question ( Aside from whether it's better to get a protector or go commando. ) is: do you get what you pay for? I've seen some protectors $1-$3, others 3 for $5.00-$10 some around $20. One I've seen 2 for $58. Are the cheaper screen protectors ( which are usually what comes with the bundle ) not as good as the more expensive ones? We all know that expensive is not the same as high quality. ( Under my breath: Apple. )
The second question is can putting these on/using them damage your screen? Is there some tacky substance that might be hard to get off? Is long time use likely to make them hard to get off?
Third question how do they affect sensitivity? Finger use? Spen use?
Also a quick question about the case. I've seen some cases described as being for the N8000 will these be any problem with the N8013?
do you get what you pay for?
- not really. some are more scratch resistant than the other. but a a $3-5 protector will still last you a year probably. then just get a new one. no need to invest in high end ones. there are some with the whole 'spy proofing' which unless you are looking straight at the screen you cant see anything. cool, but pointless also.
The second question is can putting these on/using them damage your screen? Is there some tacky substance that might be hard to get off? Is long time use likely to make them hard to get off?
-no, my old phones used to have screen protectors for a year or so, peels off very easily once you get a corner up. no residue, just peel it off and wipe with cloth and you are ready for the next sheet.
Third question how do they affect sensitivity? Finger use? Spen use?
-no problem. im using a matte screen protector now. no sensitivity problems noticed. but an affect on brightness.
Also a quick question about the case. I've seen some cases described as being for the N8000 will these be any problem with the N8013?
dont think there is any problem. but youll have to google the dimensions to be sure.

Don't bother with a screen protector on my tablet. It doesn't get into the same dark places which my phone does.

Now I'm just curious about how, where and what you use your phone for....
he's batman...
but im just curious why a screen protector and going into dark places are related...
I bought a fairly inexpensive screen protector and have loved it. Bummed I cannot remember what kind it was in case i ever need to replace it. No issues. I have the Samsung case, so my worry was something getting between the case and the screen and scratching due to back and forth movement of flap.

Hi,
Has anyone manage to find a replica, or the original screen protector from the front? Point is that the logo is intergrated in the one on the front, and in the Netherlands, it doesn't come bundled with the Z. I have two Z's here, which I would like to refresh with new protectors. Two new ones for the fronts, and then full glass protectors for back and front.
Anyone?

Those things aren't being sold. And they were applied by a machine, so even if you got one you wouldn't have the same effect.
I don't think people are allowed to sell screenprotectors with the Sony logo.
perhaps this one?
Found link and made a thread here. Hope helps

Hello! I've seen a Note 4 that has a tempered glass with mirror effect in purplish. I find it really, really cool and wanna buy it, but i have no idea where to find it.

I alredy searched the big online shops, found nothing. The seller doenst know where it was bought. Can someone tell me where to find it?
How do you read the screen if it's a mirror?

I guess, if the screen is on, it shines though the mirror. Its maybe a kind of transparent mirror coating.
Mirrored protector
The only mirrored protector that I can recall is the Zagg ones. A few are still available new on Ebay (U.S.).
I'm not sure if it has any tint to it or not. Perhaps there were generic ones when the phone came out?
Andrew
Ooh, thank you so much! Yes in deed. Unluckily shipping is expensive to my country and the cheapest tempered glass is described to already has been used, but adhesive layer "professionaly cleaned". Still 20$. That's sounds like a bad deal^^ thanks though, I'll look on
Hi All,
I have just got myself a fold 3.
I have a few questions i need help with please.
1/. With external screen can a hardened screen protector be put on and if so do i need to remove pre installed protector?
2/. I am thinking of buying this case https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0995WPCXJ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2SFKRF5TPZMT5&psc=1
Am i correct to say just the basic s pen will fit and not the pro?
3/. Not sure between the standard s pen and the pro.
Want to make sure it will fit in the case.
Thanks everyone
congratulations on your new purchase mate! but this is the Flip thread not the Fold so I doubt you'll get many answers here!

Don't remove the stock protector until it's necessary. The screen is plastic and the protector is made specifically for it. Most protectors coming out now had little or no testing. Wait for the ones that are verified as suitable replacements, unless you have no choice.
That said, a lot of the film ones actually do work stacked directly on the stock protector to keep it a little cleaner and allow for replacing them without risk to the screen.

Thinking of coating mine in a liquid protector, I had it on my Note 9 and never got a single scratch on it, curious if the folding will somehow weaken it
