As i mention in the title, now we can finally use ART on our stock xperia kk roms, and this should work on any other KK device too! DON'T FLASH IT ON PREVIOUS ANDROID VERSIONS, CAUSE BOOTLOOPS!What you're going to need is:
CWM 6.0+ or TWRP Recovery
Provided zip file (it's an aroma installer, and this is why is that simple ;D)
Root (personally recomended SuperSu)
INSTALLATION1. Download the zip file
2. Enter in Recovery (power up your m2 , when you'll see the sony logo (after the vibration) push continuosly the volume- rocker)
3. Search the provided zip, flash it and navigate through Aroma Menu.
4. Tap "Change Runtime"
5. Select ART
6. Check "Wipe Dalvik Cache"
7. Tap install
8. Tap reboot
9. Rebooting can take a lot of time (depending on how many apps you've installed), after boot, the ("Android is upgrading" window) should pop up.
-Enjoy:good:
If you want to switch back to dalvik is pretty simple! Just follow the same steps as mentioned above and then just tap DALVIK instead !
Update: Script is busy, better use ART instead
Did you ever test this? As far as I know sony stock rom will just get into bootloop after switching to ART.
Also, ART is not even working well on Lollipop, so what's the point of using it on KitKat.
Reserved my deserve
Any chance to apply this without cwm and aroma? Because d2306 doesnt have cwm yet ;(

Hi,

[EDIT]
Works very well but, don't know if ART is really running
Hi @ripp2003,
You need to check if in build.prop there's a line showed up like this: persist.sys.dalvik.vm.lib.2=libart.so

OK so it does not work for me even if the aroma installer tell me everything's fine.....
With root explorer,I can see than the file persist.sys.dalvik.vm.lib was modify... but, build.prop is untouched.

It didn't work for me neither. Nothing seemed to change. Also persistent values at /data/property in my case are untouched...
EDIT: This will sound weird but it's what seems to happen. I've changed the value MANUALLY with root explorer, and after changed, I reboot the device an go to philz to clear cache & dalvik cache, but, after rebooting and loading all 300 apps, the value changed (itself) during the boot to libdvm.so. I can't understand this. :\
I've manually modify the persist.sys.dalvik.vm.lib file (libart.so) , clear the dalvik cache and rebooted......
persist.sys.dalvik.vm.lib return to original value...... oups, same as youlinuxct
Maybe we have to change the line in the build.prop ?
This update should fix it
This update is dont working for me. The build. Prop is unchange.
Edit: I have changed it with the build.prop editor. How can I test this kind of really running except on the build. Prop

Hello Friends,
Presenting my mod for Galaxy R - Volume Step Increase
This is not a mod for increasing the system volume. It Just modifies the steps for increasing the volume. By Default, the system has 15 steps for Media Volume. After this mod, the system will have 30 steps for Media Volume. This will help you in fine tuning the selection of volume for your music.
Installation Procedure:
Reboot to CWM recovery
Mount System
Flash the attached zip
Reboot
No Need of Wipe

Try mounting the system and flash it buddy though being in CWMv4. Still if doesn't work, extract the zip. You will find a file called framework.jar. Push it to /System/framework. Reboot.

How could I manually do this? I'm using a different device and rom but the procedure should still be the same shouldnt it since I'm running ics (AOKP on my note).

GooIM/manager is now working!
Updates will be rolling thru.
GooManager incremental is not working right atm.
You can either download the ROM here, or, in GooManager, browse for compatible ROMs/TeamFahQ/blaze/pa_t769-2.54=10NOV2012-174533.zip/begin download/etc...
I would suggest doing a fresh install so don't forget to make a good backup via titanium...

Working great for me, thanks a lot! Your LZ kernel is working great as well. No hiccups yet. I'm loving all the sizing features and color options. I'm also glad this switched to SuperSU, as I use dsploit a lot and superuser is not friendly. I was having to reflash SuperSU after each CM10 update.

I just flashed your ROM everything seems real snappy and fast but I used CPU spy and the frequencies are strange most of the time its at min or max theres almost no frequencies used in between? Is that a bug in the new kernel or a cm10 bug? Otherwise great ROM so far thanks!

I didnt need to flash any supersu files? Supersu is installed and i restored all my backups from TB so i know root is working fine without having to flash over anything else but the rom and gapps of course.
Does the camera only save to the internal storage?
@Bradlees wifi calling? No... I might add it later after I get the ui bug fixed (paranoid preferneces)
@DiViNEX CPU spy and the frequencies are strange. Logcat perhaps... Otherwise, I won't be able to track it. Might be the app conflicting with something because the built in cpu monitor looks fine.
@cheddarbob41 su files? Oops... old flashing instructions... I updated OP... Thanks
@mytasteinwomen Does the camera only save to the internal storage? For now, yes... Might change that to external storage later...
OmniSwitch is a recent apps switcher created for OmniROM by maxwen, you can read more about it here. Even though the app was developed for OmniROM, it works on all KitKat ROMs. Users of non-KitKat ROMs can take a look at OmniSnitch.
The attached .zip file is to be used with custom recovery and flashes OmniSwitch.apk (extracted from OmniROM) to /system/priv-app, the app needs to be in this location for the kill apps function to work. You can also copy the attached apk to system/priv-app, you will also need to set the permissions to rw-r--r--, do not install it. If you're interested in the source code, you can find it here.
This thread was created with maxwen's permission.
Edit: I have changed both files, from what I saw with the tests I did, both methods work now. Thanks to ultimahwhat for the new apk and to OrglCe for his zip creator.
Let me know if there are any problems.
Edit: If you have any permission problems, it should be fixed after using lucky patcher to remove signature verification on your phone, as always, this is at own risk.

I have tried both ways maybe it's the cm11 rom for the U which is the issue I'm not sure though
Tried flashing it on stock 4.4.2 setup (rooted) on Nexus 5. Keep getting failed to gain permissions errors. Checked root explorer and correct permissions were shown however.
ive flashed the zip, now how do i enable and use it??
I'm also getting the start failed error, I'm trying to figure out how to fix it.
I think I messed up with the signatures/certificates, I'm busy looking for a solution.

Overview
This is another Chinese firmware called 'Color OS' and generally ships on Oppo devices. It is not a "slight mod" but is more of a complete ROM similar to MIUI / Lewa and it has it's own unique feel.
Bugs
almost no
Instructions for Use
1. Download the ROM.
2. Copy the file to your internal or external SD Card
3. Reboot into recovery and perform a nandroid backup (or your backup of choice)
4. In recovery, wipe data (perform a full wipe)
5. Browse to where you saved the files and Install the ROM
6. Reboot your phone & enjoy it!

Managed to get it back working by flashing stock and reflashing everything. Weird bug tho
After Installation Rom is looking good but... there is no Signal and i can't modify the Mobile Settings (greyed out). Help.....
It seems I cannot flash this rom, I get an error in TW Recovery... Is this rom flashable only by CWM Recovery ?
What bugs are currently present in the Rom and hows the battery life with it?
Also when I try to flash the Rom it says I need to update binary

Same here, And the OP is not responding, This ROM looks promising so i am waiting for help, so i can try it. I want to leave MIUI, the heat issues and battery drain are just killing my vibe.
When I try to install the rom it fails and says I need to update binary, what does that mean and how do I do it?
Could I solve the issue by switching recovery to a different one?

as far as i can read on internet, you need older recovery, because its based on cm 10. Or just leave it, it will install, just wait a minute
Google play store doesn't work. I downloaded it, but it opens and closes. I also tried to flash different gapps. No help.
And the lock screen is missing.
This is chinese version of coloros. It's the problem but is there any advice?
This mod will let you move the SuperSU app from the app drawer to the Settings menu.
I have based this mod on OxygenOS 2.1, but should work on all versions of OxygenOS
Disclaimer
Note, this will only work on OxygenOS factory roms. It wont work on AOSP or CM based roms etc. Remember to back up your rom before flashing. I am not responsible if you have issues with your device.

Hmm just to clarify, your on the OnePlus 2 running OxygenOS 2.0.2? it should be just as showing in the screen shot. Just under gestures in device section.
Also could you do me a favour? could you extract the settings.apk from the zip and push it manually to prv-app/settings/settings.apk? Change permissions and test.
OK just ran a test. Looks like the mount path I am using to mount system is not working correctly. Just extract the apk manually and push it to the folder it will work.
I will make a new update later this evening.
Version 2 is up!
Sorry about that guys. I was using my updater script from my Nexus 6. It looked as if it was installing ok, but wasn't mounting system correctly. Re-wrote updater script from scratch, let me know if there are any problems
