X10 is one of the most powerful handsets out there. In spite of running 1.6, it handles most games very well. Can you guys list high-end games (like the ones from Gameloft and EA) that work well on the X10?
The only graphics intensive game that I have is Asphalt 5. It is a bit laggy at time, but is definitely playable.

wats the diff between free n paid for home run 3d?
Ive found that a lot of the GameLoft games are only compatable with 2.1 and higher even though they are advertised as playable on the x10
Please correct me if im wrong.
I think with paid you can upgrade your player more, in free mode you can't get more than 300 goldballs which you can earn during the game. For example, the best bat cost around 3000 goldballs and it will increase your power and contact with a lot. But the free game Arcade Mode is giving you a good idea how stunning this game is, before you buy it...
Now I played for a few hundred hours and have the max upgrades, so you can hit balls further than 600...ft/mtr (i don't know from the top of my head which they use)

Which version of Asphalt are you using? I have an old firmware, so may be that's causing the problem.
Btw, can anyone confirm that Real Football and HAWX works on the X10? I remember reading that they require Android 2.1.
Also, what is Ex Deus? Did you mean Exzeus?

Ok, so I have an EVO 4g rooted and all of those wonderful things (synergy...cough...cough) and I have not been able to satisfy my gaming desires. As far as I have seen roms run very slow and majority of them don't work.
Are their any updated game lists or emulators that work well. I have been craving for paper mario on my EVO for awhile or just other games that are just as good as iphone games.

Asphalt 6 Adrenaline is amazing. There was no such graphic on PC's 5 years ago
Of course it's only my opinion but it will be fun playing Spiderman with free world like sandbox, something like playing on PSP . Asphalt 7 looks good, but I think on Galaxy SIII review (on screenshots) looks better. But we all know Gameloft make good graphics games by the way, but the most important is gameplay and how much bugs we'll find in their next titles . I smell Xperia Play touchpad support 100% sure, but I'm thinking about lags - you see that NOVA 3 using worst graphics (we can use Chainfire 3D to optimize it, I wrote on N3 topic few words about it), so for now we need wait. Fingers crossed ^^.

jgregoryj1, I feel very good - my hands are better, no more Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. But unfortunely, I need to stop development forever - my doctor said it will back if I won't stop using my hands much. I'm using hands for GYM too, and on other house-works, to need to decrase using, and that's why I will create my last project for X10 (DiXperia 8), and the last one for Play (no official "name" or date, but 100% sure it will be ).

Asphalt 7 is exactly the same as 6. No improvement. I hate the cars physics as well. It just doesn't have any simulation to it and I know it's supposed to be arcadey but still.
Gameloft's graphics suck as well. Look at madfingergames...
I just hope Real Racing 3 comes out and its Xperia Play optimized.

Sincerely I doubt it. Real Racing 2 has very bad optimization for most androids, ergo it bearly runs on Xperia play and has no control optimizations.
RR 3 will have no ties to the XP

Spiderman should be out 3rd July, but I don't think Gameloft will relase iOS and Android version at the same time - it's too complicate project - not like Men In Black etc. (which was in the same time, strange..... Gameloft never do this O_O).

I think A7 and ASM are pre-render effect - 100% it's not gameplay graphic....They should make trailers/gameplays much more pre-render if they want me to believe in that. Maybe it's from New iPad, not from Android devices, at least not from Play xD.
Nova 3 was announced at the end of April, Android release was just a month later. Maybe they are now announcing games when the development is almost finished. So i hope Asphalt 7: Heat will be released next month or so.
Their movie games were always released both on IOS and Android at the same time, look at The Adventures of Tintin. Maybe it´s due to contract reasons that they have to release it at the same time.
Hmmmm....You're right buddy. I noticed that Fast Five was relased at the same time too (Android one day after iOS). But look - it's Gameloft, yeah? Everything is possible . But hope that Spiderman comes when iOS version appear.
And NOVA 3 was relased in correct date - they say May and it was May - iOS first week, Android last days of month .

I highly enjoyed A6 possibly my favorite game on here. That said when I saw that A7 seemed to have the same exact maps and just some new cars I was pretty disappointed. Maybe if they add more of a Split Second type element like they had in Fast 5 where the course would change based on in game events or crashes then it would be cool, but otherwise why would I give them $6 for the same game with a couple new cars.

I'm not so sure Neo.Emu supports the people that made the game. This game app is made by SNK Playmore.
It's more than a simple port of the original game. Xperia Play Optimized, full Play button control, 16:9 support (it really just stretches the image ), old school display scan lines, anti-aliasing, bluetooth multiplayer, etc.
Support your local skateshop. :good: I bought it because I can download it to both of my Android devices and enjoy multiplayer. Not exactly sure it is worth the $6.99, but it is definitely fun. Will post screenshots later if you guys would like.

It is so much better to play full ported games then emulators. They run at full speed and with everything intact (sound, graphics, etc)
Not saying emulation is bad (I play with emus most days) but it's use is for games which can't be played natively, for getting a more original feel to a certain game if its changed for the worst in the porting, or for playing your legally owned game copies.
Emulation is mostly looked upon as illegal. This metal slug 3 is an arcade game, who here has a old neo-geo metal slug machine that can legally make a Rom for use with mame or other? Anyone?
Sorry to moan but hate seeing comments like this all the time. We need to support developers or the gaming business go's bust and new games won't be made.

Well... iOS got an upgraded version of KoF-i (which we know as King of Fighters Android) with a ton of new characters and online play.
Perhaps this is a sign of more SNK support to come? If we can get that as our definite online fighter... damn... the one piece of leverage my PSVita holds over Xperia Play is gone :\

Works perfectly for me on R800x
Great on Tablet S as well, multiplayer is very smooth, no lag on either device when playing linked. Only complaint on Tablet S is that , when using a DS3, R3/L3 is jump not X
LAGS like hell on my XP running stock 2.3.3 , even after a fresh boot and running Supercharger Super 512hp and engine flush.

I had problems playing several different games when I was running custom ROMs, since flashing OEM 2.3.4 I haven't had any issues.
the latest app update took away the menu sound effects, booo. everything is still smooth for me however.

I would love to see some videos on performance with popular Android emulators. Those emulators are written to take as much juice as they can get to max out the quality and fps. Some emulators like PPSPP don't play every game perfectly on the S4 and could use more power to get them running smoothly.

I have used FPSE in past and surely I would make a video using that.

For that I need a root first and there is none available at the moment.
I will do that once a proper rooting solution is available.

Most 3D games on the PSP in general are pretty demanding. You can try games like FF Crisis Core and Dissidia or the Tekken: Dark Ressurection game
