[APP][4.0+]Way GPS OSF - Android Apps and Games

Hi,
My name's Yan and i'm an amateur android dev.
What's Way ?
Way is an Android app for GPS navigation which difference between it and other GPS app, is that Way is based on simplicity and wants to be user friendly. You can create some routes, by drawing them on the map. You can put intermediary points by which you want to pass.
You can be not very precise when you put your points. When you click on Draw, Way will automatically place your points on the nearest street.
You can look for places you know, with an autocompletion places feature which will make the map zoom on the place you want.
You can save your route, reuse it, delete it...
Why talking about Way here ?
I'm here to talk about Way, because Way is an opensource project. The sources are on github, under the Apache 2 license. There's a lot of comments in my code.
What I want to do with way, is to create a community around this project, a group of developers which will work on the app, fork it, improve it etc...
Feel free to use and modify the code, if want more informations you can send me a mail : [email protected]
The app is on the PlayStore too : play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yanp.way&hl=en
Github repo : github.com/YPierru/Way/tree/master/Way
Don't hesitate if you any questions.
Yan.

A new App for web-tinkerers (Open Source)

I don't participate much, but I've learned a great deal from this site. So I'm posting this here as GPL2 software as a way of thanking everyone. All I really ask is that it not be used in a closed-source app without talking to me first.
Can't poast URLs, because I have fewer than 10 poasts (I lurk hard). Mod, if you don't deem this to be spam, would you kindly provide the link (or allow me to do so)?
[sourceForge.net]/projects/webremote/
Basically, this was meant to be a generalized HTTP(S) client, with the URLs being assembled dynamically and under a variety of different circumstances. The server-end of the transaction is a creation of the user.
I wrote this tool to assist me with repititive tasks at work (specifically, asterisk/linux administration). I wrote a PHP page to do things like add users, check server load, trigger recordings and dialplan modes, and so forth.
I have also used it in conjuction with a Raspberry Pi to trigger relays and read sensors in my home from wherever I happen to be at that moment.
There are lots of things I want to do with this app...
Implement GPS, so I can trigger URLs at waypoints.
Tie into NFC and make a bitcoin wallet that you can "bump" or scan a QR code to pay someone.
Implement Trigger packages to support one-click importing of Triggers for a specific task (IE, minecraft server administration)
Use BouncyCastle to encrypt the DB.
Hook into the camera and fire triggers using snapshots (or image files) as arguments.
Actually cause the HTTPS Receivers to validate certificates. Presently it does not (although the traffic is still encrypted).
I will take requests, questions, and bug reports at the sourceforge page, but how fast things get done will directly correlate to how much interest the project attrracts (which may very well be none).
For those learning how to program and trying to learn something by reading the source, I'm sorry.
I've tried to keep things hygenic. I come from a C/Java background, so Android was a bit of a leap, with respect to its organization. This program is a work of evolution.
To check out the source, use subversion:
svn checkout svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/webremote/code/trunk webremote
My working copy is also my Eclipse directory, so importing it with Eclipse should be minimal trouble.
If anyone *really* wants to thank me, I am a bitcoin user:

Or you could buy the version I have up at google play (but I consider this a donation):
Can't poast URLs.... Search the Play store for WebRemote.
Thank you all again for sharing your knowledge.

[APP] Looking for Android alpha testers for a money tracking application I created.

My main goal for this project was to keep the application simple, yet effective. I don't like cluttered applications, however, I like ones which get things done! My new application "Simple Register" for lack of a better name, is just that (in my opinion.)
It functions similar to a checkbook register, where you can easily track your money. You can set an initial starting balance if different than $0, and from there credit money or debit money from the account. There is no linking to bank accounts or anything of that sort. I wanted to keep this simple.
I am looking for some Alpha testers who track their expenses and who are willing to give good feedback in order to improve the application. It is definitely not complete in terms of features, which is part of the reason I am here. I know there are things which can be added, that don't make the application too complex, yet can improve the overall experience.
The UI is currently not the best as I have tried to devote more time to functionality and have not had a chance to get around to making it look "pretty" yet. I will say, however, it is not by any means ugly. It is simple looking, which should make it extremely easy for someone of any skill level to use!
With that being said, I want to reach out (with this post) to get a few Alpha testers. I have an Alpha community setup through Google+ at the moment which will give you access to the Alpha version of the application through the Google Play Store.
If you are interested, please join the following Google+ community, which will provide the link to sign up for the Alpha testing (through google) and allow you to download the application. Membership will be limited (so that I do not get overwhelmed with users and feedback) so if you do not get in right away, please be patient.
Simple Register Alpha - Google+ Communities
In the future, I plan for there to be a paid version of the application (this may change.) Currently I am limiting the number of accounts someone is able to create, and there are a few more features I am planning which would be in the paid version. Those who have helped test the application, will be provided the paid version free of charge.
Thanks in advance!

Developer needed on share profit basis - Unique one of a kind project

I'm looking a freelance Android developer to help me out with a project.
I am an author of World War One and also have past published books.
But now with latest technology, I am now seeking a silent (Partner) on a profit share of return, to make an App for the WWI & WWII Memorials.
It is much like an existing concept now on App, like Camper Contacts, which gives you an actual location of a memorial, GPS of the site and a small outline.
Google Play Store have shown high interest in my initial concept, but making this (App) is way beyond my skills.
If you can make? or want to quote me a price to make, or want to form a profit share for the development, then please make contact.
ONLY Genuine interested need apply, I am 1nuine and require the same for others.
Thank you
Colin.

[Challenge] App challenge! Bring Graph 89 into 2016, and profit!

The developer for Graph 89, a graphing calculator emulator for Android, popular for its ability to reliably emulate a range of Texas Instruments' most common academic calculators is up for grabs. The developer used code from multiple open source projects and released the full, paid editions code in 2013. The emulator is very useful but is somewhat in need of a UI/UX update. Also, seeing the paid version eventually make it to the play store with regular updates again would be nice.
Now for the challenge.
Many users of tablets would love to see an application like this get floating app support. Nothing would be nicer than to be able to have a good ol ti-84/89 hovering on my screen when I didn't pack either in my bag that day. So if you have any experience with developing for android, please at least take a look. Maybe even pick it up on your spare time as a pet project!
This is to check user interest AND see interested developers speak up about picking up the project again, as well as just make everyone aware that the source is available and will need some documentation updates.
Source here:
https://bitbucket.org/dhashoandroid/graph89-paid
As I am NOT the author a s have never built this one from source, I can only really answer any related questions with "Look at the code, use Google, peruse the comments, or just buy the compiled version on the play store".
Play store link is NOT here because I would rather draw interest to the code and not send money in the direction of someone who isn't maintaining it anymore. Thanks and let's do this!

[APP][4.0+]OVO Web - Offline Website Builder

In developing countries one of the main problems aspiring web developers might face is the high cost of purchasing a laptop and getting a stable internet connection also in developed countries, lack of cell signals in the subway can pose a problem when you want to quickly edit a website(as a freelancer) as most website builders are online (wix, boomer, wordpress etc).
With OVO Web this can now be done offline and in the palm of your hands. This app attempts to edit website templates in a process I call "touch and edit" where HTML elements are clicked (on the rendered template) and their css properties/HTML contents are edited. Edited template can be published to local drive folder, ftp server or github pages .The app also comes bundled with free responsive template to get you started.
Do share your thoughts, complaints, bugs, and ways to make the app better
Download from Play store: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ovosoftware.ovoweb
Thanks MrRiko, we are a team of android developers, currently focused on improving the app(fixing bugs) and adding more features so we can't give SEO tips. If you however wanna convert your website to an android native mobile app then we can help you
True GlenCurtis, that is why we wanna make it simpler with this app, it may not be perfect but we are getting there
