I bought this amazing phone from focalprice.com and it comes brand new and rooted. I installed font installer from Google Play and it didn't change all of the fonts. So I went into the app's settings and overode all the fonts on the phone with the new font. I thought that would take care of the problem. However upon rebooting, the phone is in a bootloop. I downloaded the stock android 4.4.2 rooted Kit Kat it comes with. When I go into recovery mode I flash the rom from sd after I wipe cache partition and do a factory wipe. The phone starts the install then says installation aborted. I don't know why it doesn't give a reason. Any help on how to restore those font files or the device? Thanks!
Hi,
I found this thread on your device, you could ask for help here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android General > Elephone G6 - 5.0" IPS screen, MT6592 1.7GHz with fingerprint scanner
If you don't find help there, you will need to ask here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!

Good night for everyone,
To make it short:
- I bought an LG G2 D802 from amazon.com (description says it's a factory unlocked phone).
- Tried to install a modified kitkat rom.
- The phone bricked into fastboot mode, but then I could repair the download mode and installed a Hong Kong (without noticing it and messed up the phone, because I'm form Venezuela and it went to a Locked state) stock firmware. But couldn't repair the recovery mode.
- When the phone booted it had an apparent screen calibration problem, where it doesn't respond accurately to touch, but going to the sensor->calibrate sensor option from settings menu didn't fix the problem at all. So I think it's something related to the Android system files (partitions maybe?) and not the settings or S/W at all.
- Installed an Open kitkat firmware hoping that it would fix the issue, but with no result. It correctly changed the S/W, but the screen problem persisted.
Some ideas that I have (but haven't found any propper methot to fix the phone) are:
1. If it applies: repairing the Android system files, to fix the touchscreen problem.
2. Rooting the phone and installing the best Recovery Mode to fix the phone.
3. Wiping the phone to blank.
4. Install a correct S/W from zero.
5. Hoping that it works
If it's possible doing it from a pc software or command line (connected to the phone obviously) I think it would be the easier solution, but don't know how to do it.
I would be really grateful with anyone who reads this and can help me fixing this...
Thanks.
Hi,
I believe your best move is returning to stock. Please read the following threads opening post carefully and only use files made for your exact model number.... You can ask for help here too,
> LG G2 > G2 General > LG G2 Stock Firmware (Go Back to Stock)
Good luck!

Hello everyone, I'm writing because I have a problem in this smartphone: everything crashes, every system app crashes. I have a stock rom , bootloader is locked and the phone is in warranty. I tryed to format through the android settings but it crashes, so I tryed through the recovery but I get "boot up failed".. I don't know what I have to do thank you
P.s android lollipop
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. When you say you tried to format it do you mean you tried to perform a factory reset? Has this phone ever been modified/rooted at all in the past?
Yes, a factory reset but when I select "recovery" from the bootloader I get "boot up error".
No, I never rooted/unlocked the phone
Interesting. I think it's probably best to ask your question in the Moto G q&a section here:
G 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Perhaps one of the Moto G owners there can walk you through how to fix this issue.
Good luck!
Thread closed, thanks.
Hi,
I have a Sony Z3 (D6603) phone, and have just flashed a custom ROM. Everything looks fine except, my phone shows that I have only 12GB (11.75GB to be exact) internal storage, which I believe, it should be 32 GB instead. I bought this phone in Japan, boot loader stays locked and seems to be unlockable.
I have tried to flash again and again, including reset factory settings and wipe user data during flashing operation, but either case the situation does not change. Could you please give some ideas, what probably went wrong? Thank you in advanced.

I am officially stuck in bootloop after editing the build prop; trying to get split screen ability. I do not have a back up, but truly I thought I did. It is rooted but no custom recovery installed. I have tried to reset to factory but it does nothing. The brand is Marozi the model is C8000 OTA. It had Android 5.1.1 can anyone help me?

hello admins
i have a problem on my tablet (bluewave WV8 - M)
i just rooted it by using a one touch root app, then i didn't know how to have permissions on my apps
i downloaded supersu then after that at first there were 2 choices normal / twrp cmw so i tapped normal
after a reboot i got a bootloop so i thought i could fix it by downloading its stock firmware
after flashing it when i turned it on it got a blackscreen.
i just realized that it wasn't its official firmware because they have serial numbers when i searched for my tablet's model the don't have the stock firmware
is there other alternatives?or universal firmwares? by the way its an rk3288 tablet.
thank you in advance
