[Q] Flashed wrong ROM for Micromax Canvas Juice A177 & Unable to enter the Recovery
Hi All,
I was using Custom ROM Lewa OS on my Micromax Canvas Juice A177.
My Phone's Previous State: Rooted, CWM flashed, Uncle Mobile Tool is present (Just to give more info to help people who tried to solve the problem)
Problem: I was experimenting and tried to install a new Custom ROM
Step1: Launched Uncle Mobile Tools and entered Into Recovery mode (It asked something related to reboot and I pressed YES)
Step2: (In PhilZ Recover_Mode) I Wiped Cache Partition
Step3: Wipe Data/Factory Reset > Clean to install a new Rom
Step4: Go to Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache.
Step5: Going to Install Zip.
Selected the zip in external sd card and confirmed the installation
Error: Later, After Flashing, It showed the error saying that It cant write along with some path(I don't remember the exact path it showed).
My Phone's Current State: It can't boot. I am unable to enter the recovery mode (After Pressing Volume+ or Volume- along with power key)
It is just displaying "Lewa" on the screen.
I removed my battery and tried to enter recovery and was unsuccessful.
Please help me to resolve my problem. Let me know if you need further info.

hi anyone,
i recently want to root (not too sure if i achieved it or not) my lenovo A706 row. the last time i root my toshiba thrive 10.1" was in 2012, so i made reading extensively most of the instructions and methods in xda forum and finally decided to follow "The Lenovo A706 Owners' Thread (for Rooting, CWM, and other discussions)".
so this what i did.
1. download the adb drivers, android-sdk and install programe on my pc.
2. Install CWM via ADB on my pc... until the part where the command is : "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" and the "fastboot reboot" (which after 3-4 tries, i still could not get to boot the phone in CWM recovery mode. (so i thought i was doing it wrong)
3. so i read so more, and was made to understand i could try : "fastboot flash boot recovery.img" instead.
4. after "fastboot flash boot recovery.img", the phone automatically boots into CWM-base Recovery v6.0.3.2 but is stuck there and it loops back to the original "Android system recovery <3e> and hangs at the LENOVO logo.
5. i then wipe data/factory reset, hoping that this would reset it but to no avail (now it just boot intoCWM-base Recovery v6.0.3.2, it doesn't loop to the "Android system recovery <3e>
5. so i then i decided to wiped dalvik cache, then wipe cache partition and finally wipe data/factory reset and still to no avail.
really would appreciate any help/assistance/instructions/any thing just to rectify this phone or reset it back to its original settings.
any help assistance is humongously appreciated. pls, pls

Hi. I have this tecno p5 phone. I installed TWRP on it and tried to flash a a new recovery(it had the stock one). unfortunately it seems that It flashed out the former and itself didnt go in(basic english). Now my phone hasn't got a recovery image. But has no problems starting.. Attempts to get into recovery power+vol+ kinda Jumps the recovery mode and proceeds to normal booting. where its supposed to enter the recovery mode, The phone shows a blank screen the proceeds to booting. Its current Rom has multiple issue but Now I cant flash that too since I got no Recovery. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated

i have a micromax a60 purchased in 2012 kernal version 2.6.29, im using cwm6 recovery i put on usb debuging , my device is rooted using universal androot ,i hav installed busybox,when i reboot into recovery and try to install any custom ROM which is in .zip format and placed in my sd card , it starts to install and shows the message "makeing changes" or "updating device" but after some time it says install aborted error in jetMOD2.1.zip or any other .zip which i try to install please help.
im also not able to reboot my phone in cwm6 recovery . it shows rebooting... and is stuck there.

Everything was working fine until I tried to update recovery with Mobile uncle tools with the cwm image file provided on this website forum. From then I can't boot into my recovery not even stock, the device directly switches on after a blank screen when trying to enter into recovery. I don't see any other way out please help me as I can't access google apps because of mixing up the UIDs. Thanks
I have a rooted device. I tried whatever you prescribed but still the same recovery doesn't show up and the device gets switched on

I rooted my Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 A121 via Root Genius.
It was rooted successfully, then I downloaded TWRP 2.7.1.0 from this thread :

I flashed it via Flashify and it flashed successfully, but then when I rebooted the system it booted into twrp.
I rebooted it again but same result. I then did a factory reset and restored the backup which I had created just after flashing TWRP, but still no luck.
Everytime I switch it on, it boots into TWRP.
Please Help. Any kind of help is Appreciated but as soon as possible. Thank You
