hello,my name is abdul from yemen looking fro 3g radio network for htc one m7 verison becauce the htc device works 1x signal rather than 3g so i hope you can find a solution for this problem that i have htc incredible 3 with same problem but i searched and found the problem in radio 3g and now htc incredible is on 3g but the problem now in htc one m7 i could not find the solution as the htc incredible 3 so i hope you can help me in this case thanks.

Hi you can try changing you're radio and ril. It is possible to bring a better signal by changing radio and ril. A good place to start would be ics generic radio and ril. Do some experimenting see which one works best for you and your area

Rogers frequency are the same as AT&T you'll forever have edge speeds till you buy a new phone

Hi all, I own a HTC One S and I'm tired of it. The phone has problems picking up weak phone/data signals. I'm planing on buying the HTC One mini but I'm concerned how it deals with poor signal.
How's the signal strength on One mini especially compared to One S?

Doesn't it largely depend on the carrier, area, base-band etc.? Which carrier are you on?
Having said that I'm from Canada on the Telus network and I have an HTC One S and HTC One Mini. I'm located in Windsor, ON right across from Detroit, MI. I've found that both are relatively equal when it comes to signal strength and picking up a signal. In areas where the HTC One S couldn't get a signal in Detroit, the HTC One Mini is the same. Travelling through the Detroit-Windsor tunnel is the same for both phones. I haven't found that the HTC One Mini picks up signal strength any better than the HTC One S.
With the HTC One S I am running the ViperOne ROM and the HTC One Mini is stock. My girlfriend also has an HTC One S running ViperOne ROM and a HTC One X running stock on the Rogers network. When travelling through certain areas of the highway, her One S will not have signal whereas my HTC One S will have signal. Same with some of my colleagues who own HTC One, Blackberry Z10 on Rogers, they may have no signal while my Telus phones are fine.
I would gather it's largely more carrier dependent given that my girlfriend and I both have the One S and I'll get a signal where she won't.

Thank you for reply. I'm from Poland, Europe. I'm on a Polish carrier Play, as they don't have a lot of own bts and are using T-mobile and Orange infrastructure I can switch freely between them. I just flashed latest radio rom and viper rom, I think that the signal got better, I'll know for sure in couple of days.

I bought HTC One mini about a week ago and its phone/data signal works really good. Being at the same place with friends i could compare that my phone had the best performance concerning receiving data (either 3G or wifi).
I don't know HTC One S' performance but i am really satisfied from HTC One mini.
I bought HTC Dhd from eBay and when I search on imei checking websites they tell me imei belongs to HTC inspire 4g.There is no at&t logo at the back, but changing the outer cover is no big deal.Before blaming the seller, I just wanted to get confirmed.I currently live in India and 3g works on 2100mhz here, inspire 4g doesn't support 2100mhz but HTC desire HD does.I am NOT getting any signal when I switch to 3g mode.What do you think.Any other way to get confirmed?Thanks for your time..
