Lollipop 5.0 Rom? - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

I know it may be a little early, but will any type of Lollipop Rom be developed for this phone? It would be great to have

I would love to see a Lollipop rom as well. Preferably a port of cyanogenmod once it has been released.

If even Motorola Moto E will be able to run Android 5.0, why Tab 2 won't?
We just need to wait for CM12, and a maintainer to give the word to start the builds for our device. Then, we shall enjoy sweetness :3

My only worry is about Tab 2's CPU. It's kind of outdated... but I hope we still get Android 5.0
Didn't think KitKat would be smooth, but I was surprised at how smmoth it runs, lollipop should be just as good or better.
Pp.
Android is not like windows,
It gets better and faster

[Q] Android 5.0 Lollipop Discussion

So 5.0 is out on the SDK. Has anyone decided to try to start making an AOSP build of Lollipop? I'm new at developing and I am currently setting up my environment. I have my own captivate and would like to start building AOSP for it with anyone who would want to start

I have plans to do it as a project. I make no promises however, but I can't see it being terribly difficult.

Have you tried anyone?? What about performance and battery life? Any fc? Random reboot?? I would like to flash any but I don't know which one. Dt2w is also important for me.
Anyone who could help me thanks a lott
I own moto g xt1033 dual sim phone currently running crDroid rom latest kitkat version. As per my experience, the custom version of lollypop android for our phone is just under development with few or many bugs yet to be fixed. I don't know cause I haven't tried any till date but there are many custom roms based on cm12 in the development thread, however, with some bugs on them. If you've tried xperience.cyanogen rom, 4.4 version then you'll know that they have the best audio quality and battery backup plus high performance. According to their last update in their Facebook page, they are developing cm12 for moto g. So, I'm waiting for their release.
Wait... the actuals roms of lollipop are buggy. Stay on 4.4.4 and be happy!

I suppose this is not up2date anymore? I'm still on 4.4.4 and looking for stable Lollipop ROMs. Any recommendations?

I dont think you will get a stock android for OPO. You can browse thru various ROM's and get which is nearly equal to Stock but not 100% stock.

Stock 5.1 is not relased for yet the OPO. If you mean AOSP (Vanilla - Nexus series) android, there are some in the development section.

Yeah I meant vanilla Android. Was hoping one could download n5 or n6 rom and just install it. but seems it doesn't work this way.

Yes. Please dont do that.
Flashing ROM designed for other devices can leave your phone bricked.
This phone is built for cyanogen or Oxygen which is One Plus own software. The other you are asking about are for factory phones that use Android. The only phone true android is by Google.
