[Q] HTC Nolockscreen.apk using battery - HTC One S

Hi there,
I'm running Maximus HD, rooted, s-off, hboot2.16.
I recently disabled the lock screen so that when pattern lock is disabled (by Llama), my phone goes straight to the home screen.
The problem is that now I find the NoLockScreen APK from HTC is using 3% of my power (according to Battery Doctor).
Is this normal behaviour? Can I do anything to change it?
Thanks!

How do I stop Auto-Minimizing when turning off the screen

Ive searched and havent really found any solution and Im not sure if this is the right section to post this but I have an HTC Herald and everytime I turn off the screen it minimizes all the programs that are currently running on the display. This gets really annoying when Im running HTC Audio Manager and the screen shuts off then when I turn it on HTC Audio Manager will be minimized. Does anyone know how to disable auto-minimizing when the screen turns off? Thanks in advanced.

Can someone please help with this

I've just found this happening too. Annoying for it to light up in the middle of the night constantly. Anyone found this happening and a fix for this?

soo weird....
a few questions:
1-has you enabled the wifi option all the time?maybe is looking for wireless conections
2-have you got a ROOTED dhd(DESIRE HD)?
3-aNY custom ROM?
4-if you have a custom ROM.. which is??
In my case, details are:
1. Happens with wifi on and off
2. It's a stock non-rooted 2.2.1 Android ROM (Software # 1.72.405.3)
3. All stock sense
Never noticed this until the last week or so. Reset doesn't resolve it either.

[Q] Animated Lock Screen

Hi all, I'm new to rooting and customizing my Xoom, and recently installed cyanogenmod - and so far I love it.
A while ago I met someone with an HTC phone who was also running cyanogenmod9 but he had this awesome lock screen animation, like a CRT TV being turned off, with the image shrinking down to a white dot.
I'd love to put it on my Xoom. Has anyone seen this? Can anyone help? I have no idea how to do customization
like this.
Cheers!
So I found this app Screen Off and Lock which appears to do the trick, although when using it in my zoom the display dims too early and you can't really see the effect.
Anyone noticed this before?

Galaxy S3/Android ICS Lock screen issue

Hello,
I owned a Galaxy S with Android 2.3.6 and used the SwitchPro Widget all the time for the screen lock widget, to prevent using the power button to lock the screen. Recently, I upgraded to the S3 and the same widget is giving me trouble. Everytime I use it, it turns the screen off, but immediately it turns back on and it stays like that for a few seconds. It acts like something else is waking it up. Sometimes, it does work perfectly, but it's very rare. I am using a pattern on the lock screen to unlock, but I don't see how that could be a problem since it was the same on my older phone. Does anyone have any hints or experience the same problem ? I tried using other widget packs with screen lock widgets, but they all act the same.
Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem on a Sony Experia Pro... I've used "zMooth" to lock screen with a gesture and "screen off" widget for that... both used to work well on the original stack gingerbread... but then I flashed a custom ICS rom and now they do what you describe... I really wonder if it's something more related to ICS than anything else.

I used to have an HTC amaze that was updated to ICS, and it had no issues going screen off right away with switchpro widget

[Q] Transparent locked screen beneath actual display?

Hi guys, I am having a bit of an issue with my Samsung Infuse. I recently purchase this refurbished phone and it is unlocked from AT&T. Every thing seems to work fine except for the fact that there is constantly a second display underneath the actual display. What I mean by this is that the default locked AT&T screen is always showing, but it is transparent so it overlaps with whatever else is supposed to be displayed on my screen. I assume it is the locked at&t screen because on the bottom it says "phone locked" has a clock and on the top it has an at&t logo.
I tried hard-resetting the phone to factory setting too. I also tried to disabled the lock screen, but it was separate from the transparent at&t lock screen.
Any ideas?
bump.
So I tried a few things. Namely, I tried to install a custom rom to "overwrite" whatever interface the phone previously had. I installed cm9 but I am still having this problem. Any ideas?

idk..is it a transparent background wallpaper?
is there a loose video connection to the screen?
screen shot or video may help show what you mean
It could also be screen burn-in, but, I've never heard of the "phone lock". Mines has the loading symbol and status bar burned into my screen
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda app-developers app
I will try to get a high quality photo if I can. Unfortunately, my phone is my main camera.
And I looked up what screen burn-in is. It actually looks pretty similar.
