[Q] my alcatel 918n sim port is permanently locked! is it possible to unlock & how??
so i have an Alcatel onetouch 918n phone but the sim port is permanently locked! my idea was i'll flash an custom firmware on it and cwm recovery and was hoping it be unlocked! but after flashing and booting but when i tried to call i still got the message "permanently locked" i've spend hours searching for solutions on various search engines, but i cant find any usefull thread that can provide me the answer i'm looking for!
is there anyone here who has an idea/solution??

Friends, i am up against the wall with no other solutions...
i am trying to unlock a Huawei Inspira (NET10 Phone). I have purchased the unlock code, but i have tried everything at it just wont ask me for an unlock code.. (the phone is locked for sure)
i have tried an ATT & Lyca Mobile SIM both times i get the message "SIM Locked" with an option to DISMISS.
Does any one know how i can get to some menu to manually enter the codes? or some how get the phone to ask me for one?
i am on the original ROM that came with the device.
at this point the phone is as good as a brick for me.. can some one please suggest something..

So my question is that can I sim unlock an Alcatel OT-6012 locked to orange? I have searched on the forum but I didn't find anything related to this phone. I have rooted the phone and I have searched in the /dev/block/ folder and in mmcblk files but I didn't got anything useful in there. Where does this phone store its sim unlock code becouse in my way of thinking I am sure the phone haves the code somewhere where I can accessit to becouse in othere way the phone unlock software couldn't access it. Am I wrong?

hii , my alcatel 7047D pop c9 is dead now , no power no recovery and no vibration also is not detected by the pc , i searched everywhere in internet bu i couldn't find test point to revive it ; the cpu is mediatek 6582.
Use Flash tool.it's very easy to fix it. download stock Rom. You can restore from flash tool.

This Android 4.2 based low-end phone is heavily outdated ( released 2014 ):, if OEM unlock option isn't offered in Android's Developer options then you can't unlock phone's bootloader.

Let me start by saying that I am a complete noob when it comes to android and I wanted to ask the experts here. I purchased this phone (The Huawei Inspira H867G) from tracphone, but cant find any information on unlocking this device anywhere.. not even on the Huawei site.. i called them and they are not aware of this device, I read on another forum that the T-Mobile U8686 is the same phone but rebranded.
I am trying to unlock the device, i have purchased the unlock code, but unlike other phones where you put in a foreign SIM and device aks for network unlock code, this phone just does not ask for the unlock code..
no matter what SIM i put it just says "SIM Locked" with a DISMISS button.
does any one know of a way to bypass this and still enter the unlock code? Or how i can modify some settings so that it asks for the unlock code?
I have googled and searched high and low for over a month and just found some clues but no real idea on how to start. From what I can tell I first have to root the phone and then unlock the bootloader, then find a ROM and install it somehow? Am I correct? Any ideas?

My mom bought a new Motorola Photon Q Sprint and it's need to unlock the sim so i started searching for unlock and i faced something called unlock bootloader and i tried that and succeed unlock bootloader but than the device rebooted and stuck in the logo of Sprint.
I don't know how to make it working before my mom going to kill my :crying::crying::crying:

In order to 'unlock the SIM' you need to do hardware modifications... The SIM from Sprint is soldered to the board, you need some skill and proper tools in order to do this.
The Photon Q is not a 'world phone' - it does not have a SIM slot to just pop in any SIM.
Good News !!! SIM CARD MOD IS HERE !!! - that thread covers the topic, but again - this is not like popping out the old SIM and popping in a new one.
