[ROM][GB][KQN] DeepSky v1.0 [IN STAND-BY] - 11/JAN/13

to all:
I've decided to re-star from "0" with this ROM using KPC firmware instead of KQN.
So this will take some time, my suggestion is to no use this ROM for the moment.
INTRODUCTION
This is my second ROM, finally I can say MY because I've made it from a full stock ROM.
(Obviously, this was possible thanks guides made by some true developpers )

INSTALLATION
- Copy the file on your SD memory card
- Reboot in recovery mode (Use cwm/CWM Touch or TWRP)
- Install DeepSky_1.0_Signed.zip file
- Restart the device
Note: installation does not do any wipe, so do wipe cache and davilkcache manually before restarting.
If you come from another ROM, full wipe/factory reset is suggested.

Can it be installed over Ginger Revenge 1.1.5 without system wipe?
PS: And I would love to see "HoneyComb" lockscreen from Ginger Revenge in this ROM.

The installation process wipes and replace only system files (and all tweaks you're applied manually to gingerrevenge)
Personal data and apps is retainend if you dont wipe it manually.
in any case make a backup before flashing

Doesn't work on my phone...
Made factory reset, cleaned cache, davlick.
Installed without error messages, but after boot animation it just stays on blinking "S" logo and screen sometimes flashes with white light. Tried to fix permissions and reinstall - result is the same.
Reverted back to Ginger revenge.
PS: CWM 6.0.1.2 non-touch

I've tested with CWM 6.0.1.9 and with TWRP 2.2.1 successfully.
starting also from a non clean base... maybe try to download again the zip file

Tried with TWRP 2.2.1 - same problem. But I fixed it by formatting internal SD card. Don't know what exactly was wrong with it...
So far everything works fine.
One little advice, change the starting message language to English (see screenshot).

I'll try to fix in eay that it startd with right language for every country.

works as well, but sometimes my phone just freeze, i dont know why, on 1.3 1.5 roms also, and i must remove battery for restart phone

Can you make odin package? because I want to instal modem too, because my wifi doesn't work.
I installed this rom from cwm recovery, but I think that only rom was installed, without modem etc.

The modem will never been changed by flashing a rom.

WARNING
If you don't format your device using EXT Formatter, you will be stuck at boot logo for eternity
If you don't use a CM kernel; screenshot, bluetooth and wifi (basically radios) will not work properly or won't work at all
If you don't format data, system and cache, you will experience autoreboot a couple of times in a day
If you won't flash Google Apps, you won't be able to add your google account

Make sure
your phone is using the latest stock rom baseband (flash the modem file from my firmware thread for your region)
Use cwm5 (although the kernel contains cwm which is why it's very important to reboot to recovery after flashing a kernel)
You have formatted system to ext using the tool
You have flashed the cm7 kernel
***You reboot to recovery after flashing the kernel***
Format system data cache
Mount system data cache
Flash rom zip
Restart
Go back into recovery mount system data cache & flash gapps

How to install:
1.Take backup of your current ROM through TWRP.
2.Download the ROM 360_OS_Lite.zip
3.Reboot to recovery by switching off your phone and pressing volume up and power button simultaneously till TWRP menu appears.
4.Wipe → swipe right to factory reset.
5.Back→ Advanced wipe →tick Dalvik/ART Cache, system,Cache and data → swipe to wipe.
6.Back to main menu→ →Install → Select storage(storage on which you have saved downloaded ROM)
7.Browse and select 360_OS_Lite.zip → swipe to install
8.Wipe caches → swipe to wipe

I have Qiku Q Terra 808 with 360 OS v21. The device was sold in India however the company ran back to China hence no update support. I have managed to unlock bootloader, root the device and also ported TWRP recovery for my device all on my own. Now I wish to port marshmallow 360 OS for my device or Lollipop with higher version. I have tried flashing different 360 OS meant for my device however it bricks my device and the ROM I'd downloaded from Chinese Qiku forum. The ROMs were compatible with my device as in the PhoneInfo.yl my device model was mentioned CP8692_I02. I have also followed porting tutorials to port ROM in zip but it doesn't boot or goes into bootloop. Kindly advise how to port as you're familiar with 360 OS and in my case it should not be so difficult as I have not just same specs but same device with different model number. If you wish to look at the ROM I can share with you the ROM images. Please advise.

Plz can u make home button or option to change launcher in this rom i tried to manage to get launcher setting bye home launcher app from playstore but in this rom its not getting to set as default launcher...plz do make something as we can set or change launcher and set it as default

Fingerprint not working, no matter how manny times it doesn't detect. I checked my fingerprint scanner with coolui rom. It's working good. Soo please provide a fix. Otherwise Its a great rom.

Can we use this ROM as a daily driver? Anyone tried this ROM?

There is a fix to 'sim card not detected' on A30s. It is somehow related to Vendor partition. Here are my steps in fixing the issue:
1. You need to backup stock Vendor partition using TWRP before flashing anything.
2. Once you finish backing up Vendor partition, follow instructions in OP to install infinityOS.
3. Once you finish flashing infinityOS, don't boot to System yet. You need to Restore Vendor Partition you backed up earlier (Otherwise sim card won't be detected). This is the Key!
4. As soon as you finish restoring Vendor partition, you need to copy "com.samsung.android.kgclient.apk" to /system/priv-app/ and give the .apk file 0644 permissions (because that file will be missing after you restore Vendor partition). You can use either TWRP File Manager or adb to do this step.
The .apk file can be found in OP Telegram Group or google it.
If you are using TWRP File Manager make sure you mount System partition beforehand so you can copy the file.
[If you don't do step (4), you will end up with "Phone Locked" because Payment Services was uninstalled in an unauthorized way error message as soon as you finish booting up to OS and setting up your phone]. It is a mild error, don't worry you can always return back to recovery and proceed to step (4).
5. At last, Wipe Cache and Dalvik/Cache.
6. Reboot System. Setup your phone. Enjoy your sim card!

hi dude i when flash this rome .before complate take error product next reaboot my phone saty on black screen.i want flash this rome fix.plz help me

this rom is for a40 and version3 not a30s and version 1

so the rom is not for a30s..no workaround should be needed when flashing this rom..

​What is this ROM?
This ROM gives you the stock Samsung experience on CM9/Android 4.0.4 ICS. Consider this the update Samsung was unable to give. This ROM is themed like TouchWiz Nature UX , the version which was shipped with Galaxy S3/Mini, so naturally this ROM looks exactly like those two devices, much like how Galaxy Y's stock ROM looks exactly like Galaxy SII.
About ROM
This ROM basically brings you the Touchwiz UX on ICS, it acts like a successor to the Galaxy Y 2.3.6 Stock ROM, it has nearly all the stock ROM apps and resources. It acts like an "Official Samsung Update", so if Galaxy Y was ever to receive any official Android 4.0.x update, this is how it would look like.

Sad that it's dead, it had to though, these phones are living on life support anyway.
I don't know if porting would have been a good idea, because the ROM nearly changed completely over releases. Also you would have to edit the "Updates" app each time so that it does not download updates for GT-S5360. What would have been a good Idea is that you ported the latest release, and after that took control over how the duos version takes shape. That way it would be different from the SGY version.

Hey how i can install the latest update i don no how you said to install from cwm then whatever but i liked you rom so much that why i was asking for help me as i cannot search as it stop or force close the google.

If you are talking about the latest "LTR" then follow these steps:
Boot into CWM recovery
Go to mounts and storage (the second last option)
Wipe System
Mount System
Mount Data
Mount Cache
Flash the downloaded Update
Reboot system
Done!

No it is same as previous that i installed no change like google is crashing while scrolling pls help me from screenshot that how to install

I don't have my device at the moment, maybe if that doesn't seem to work then do a clean install like below:
Boot into CWM recovery
Go to mounts and storage (the second last option)
Wipe System
Wipe Data
Wipe Cache
Wipe sd-ext
Mount System
Mount Data
Mount Cache
Mount sd-ext
Flash the downloaded Update
Reboot system
If that doesn't work i don't know what the issue is because everything seems to be working for me. (Also the issue maybe that the google search app isn't working try using search directly with the browser. Also send me a screenshot of your settings about phone screen (Specially CyanogenMod version).
