Rooted stock Kit Kat tablet (V500) 2 weeks ago, and all went well. Used ioroot24. however 3/4 days ago started tablet, and tablet in boot loop.
Have searched and tried LG Hard Reset , gets to android robot deleting (only for very short time) and restarts in root loop
Also Used LG mobile support tool which d/loads recovery file, appears to load on tablet (in d/Load mode) and reboots in boot loop again.
Button set to factory reset does not work either.
Should I install Linux distro and use adb/fast boot commands? Am using win 8.1 x64 at present.
On starting shows LG logo, seems to boot for 15/20 seconds then reboots.
Point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Yesterday i rooted my LG G Pad 8.0 but right after that it started bootlooping.
I don't have cwm, it's just rooted (can't check it as i can't load android)
I have rooted a lot of android devices but this is the first time it happens to me (without cwm). When i try to hard reset using the
hard keys combination it starts, it shows the android logo for like 1.5 sec. and it just reboots.
It keeps rebooting when i power it off.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist.
What you need is a format and possibly a reinstall of your OS. This Thread has all you need.
I followed a guide to dual boot my Linx7 tablet using the Cube iWork 7 download with Android and Windows 10. I got this working fine and over the last few weeks have setup both how i want them. However, at some point i seem to have lost the ability to choose which OS to boot. Normally I'd turn the tablet on, see the American Megatrends screen then it would boot to the EFI Shell/Bootloader?? which would give me the choice of booting Android or Windows. I get none now and it will just boot to the last used OS.
In Android i noticed an app that is called 'Boot to Windows' which works as expected, reboots into Windows. However when I was booting to Windows, to get back to Android i rebooted about 6 times and just hammered volume down which happened to work and boot it into Android. I'm not afraid to boot back into Windows in case i can't get back into Android.
Does anyone know what I've done, how i can fix it, ideally without having to reinstall both OS's again or is there a way of changing the OS to boot to without the menu (like volume down which i feel shouldn't have worked for me but did)
Any help would be really appreciated as I've searched for hours to find answers without any luck.
Hello
I am new to working on these phones so I apologize in advance if I don't properly state any processes or terms correctly.
I have a stock non modded Verizon LGG3 VS985 that experienced problems with WiFi and Bluetooth not working and significant battery drain. This happened right after a recent update to marshmallow. I tried cache clearing, safe mode, hard reset and nothing solved the problem. I decided I wanted to take the phone back to factory condition. I started with the LG flash tool that uses the .tot and a .dll. I ran the flash and when the program got to approx. 80%(at checking mini os phase of the flash) the phone began to reboot and only got as far as the LG logo and after about 2 min of the phone trying to reboot the flash program said fail, usb connect or something like that. At this point the phone will only start and go into a loop that includes the vibrate and the LG logo. and that will cycle until I believe the battery would die if allowed. I then found a link here at XDA (https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/general/guide-flash-to-stock-10b-kdz-method-t2928140) that uses the KDZ method, was well written and easy to follow. I ran it on the phone and it was going great. The flash program got to 88% and the phone went into the boot loop with the vib and LG logo . The flash program continued to run until it was complete while the phone was in the boot loop and it got to 100% and said that the software installed. I powered down the phone via battery removal and now when it tries to boot it vibes, shows the lg log and then the green android symbol shows for about 2 seconds and then it does it all over again. I have tried a hard reset and nothing changes. I appreciate any ideas any of you may have on what I can try to get this resolved. Thank you.

i was given this tablet, when the tablet is charged and turned on it displays the nextbook loading screen until the battery dies hours later, i have been looking for a stock recovery image to flash back to the tablet to at least boot into android, i have tried to factory restore the tablet and it keeps doing the same thing, can anyone tell me what im doing wrong? can anyone help me get twrp installed from fastboot so i can try to flash a few of the dumps that i have found for this tablet? any help getting this tablet working again would be appreciated, i have no idea what caused the recovery to not work, every tablet and phone i have ever did a factory reset on has worked, this is a first for me, also since this tablet is running an intel chip, is it possible to install windows 10 on it ?
Hi everyone.
I have a ASUS TF300T for over 10 years now. It is an awesome tablet and the last 4 years it has been my daughter's playing buddy. Around 6 years ago, as the performance of the tablet was horrible, I started to inform my self of what I could do to have a usable tablet again and that was when I found out about custom roms. So I did my research, unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP bootloader and flash Timduru's ROM to it. It worked like a charm. Great performance and usability for the almost dead (thanks to ASUS) TF300T. Around the time Timduru's last ROM for this tablet was released, was also the last time I upgraded the TWRP to the latest version which I don't remember its version. Now to my problem... Last week my wife told me she couldn't get the tablet to work. As I looked at it, what I saw was the ASUS logo (with the device is unlocked at the top left corner) and then the Timduru's logo comes up and hangs, after a while it reboots to the ASUS logo again and just does everything the same over and over again non stop, can't even shutdown the device. If I hooked the usb cable to a PC it does the same but after 6 reboots the device shuts down. Then I tried to enter recovery so, volume down and power it on, the menu comes up as normal but now I tried to enter TWRP. Splash screen appears and reboots to the ASUS logo again. Then Linux pinguins show up at the top left corner and enters again to the TWRP splash screen and reboots. Now that's where I'm stuck at. Can't do anything. Volume down and power up don't do anything either, it always goes straight to TWRP recovery and reboots again. In the PC the Android device shows up until the tablet restarts again. Also tried adb but it always stalls or gives some strange info until the tablet restarts again. So my question is... I anyone able to help me restore this back to funcionality? My daughter would really appreciate your help guys! Thanks!

Hi there, I'm sorry for my late replay, because I'm not often been looking up here. Here is my advice:
The only way to get out of the loop you should do a "Buster99" to get back on Stock Rom Jelly Been 4.2.2. After that you'll be able to install the CR again. Therefore you should look up all my posts within this thread over the years. There you'll also find the right links leading to Buster99. Don't forget you need "Minimal ADB and Fastboot" to do a Buster99.
All the best and good luck, ebonit
