I bought my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (SHW-M485W) - KT from SOUTH KOREA
I tried to upgrade , but its soft bricked. It was struck at samsung logo.
I tried in the internet but I could not find any rom with model number shw-m485w.
Can any one help me.

Hi Guys, I am desperately looking for your help and guidance. I have flashed a very near model SHW-M480W , firmware. but no use.
No custom roms are working.

Do you know the exact specs of this device. you should look these up and compare them to the other 10.1 devices. I AM not sure any rom on this forum will help ..

Specs for SHW-M485W
1. WiFi only
2. 16gb internal memory
3. Build in Korea
I have found similar products. I flash those roms (SHW-480W) through oidn at the end of processing the odin giving result as Failed.
When I use the other model Rom having similar specs (GT-N8013) its failing at the beginning only saying the model number is not correct.
Any other alternatives like changing model number etc.

That likely means your boot loader is stopping you from flashing a rom not meant for you device. YOU May be able to pull the boot-loader out of the rom then reflash . DO SO WITH CAUTION ... Also some have had been able to flash with mobile odin. I have not used it so have no clue.. Because you do not have the n8013 exactly to what i have . READ Other info before you follow my advice ...

I have exactly the same tab model and the same problem of the tablet being freezed at the samsung logo. Could you solve it? Would you mind sharing? Is there a way of keeping the personal data intact or recover it somehow?
I run out of ideas to solve this so thank you so much for your help.

There is no way you can recover your personal data at this stage. All you can do is bring it back to live.
I found the original Rom and flashed back with the same rom. The Note is back to normal.
Try in the internet for the factory firmware with the same model. you will get it. Good luck. :good::good::good:

Hi dear mate.
i have same device m485w. I bought it a few days ago. But os update stopped. Just jelly...
so i ported 4.4.4 based rom for m485w by using m480w firmware.
i modified kernel, boot.img3
now it works well.
Also for gnabo rom v8.0 i modified. It works well. It will solve be loved our devices' brick.
if some user want to this, i will share and make thread. But there are a few user using m485w device.

ok. In this weekend, i will upload samsung latest kk4.4.4 ni6 version modified by me.
now i am asking permit about using kernel. I have already done kernel work.
you may hope that.
and personally can u help me? To work this my param.bin is changed as n8000
it is same with our device. But for samsung service center i should rollback because language is different

it is very easy. I just give .zip file. Just flash by using twrp or phills recovery.
after flashing. Param.bin saved your sdcard automatically..

Hi ok.
Don't worry about that. There are 2 ways.
1. After installing gnabo v8.0 rom, flash .zip
His rom is great. sdcard limitation was solved in his rom.
2. But i think that .zip will work. It is not related os. ^^
How can android make directory and files in sdcard when stalling by using odin or something
Are u use rooted rom? It is impotant.

Have you tried talkingmobi web site. I had the same issue. I have the Rom for HDC Gslaxy S3 plus, but my phone looks different from yours in the screen shot

Your correct. The roms on talkingmobi.com don't work.
I asked them twice now for the rom but i don't get an answer :crying:
The first time i had the proximity sensor problem when calling.
They (fastcardtech) told me to put in a new rom from talkingmobi.
I did that and STUPID ME i forgot to backup the old rom, but then all problems started .
except for 1 rom they all give me a white screen at boot after flashing the talkingmobi roms.
The rom i have flashed now also doesn't work. When i boot the phone i get a android with rockets,
then a android snake with the letters android, twice, and then phone shuts off or sometimes bootloop.
I am unable to get into the phone and also i can't get into recovery. i can press buttons al i want but nothing happens.
Just the android guy with rockets and then shuts off.

FCT get the ROM for me on talkingmobile site. but its not the right one. the ROM on there is based for MTK6589.
I have the Original ROM but not backup well. because I missed to backup the system.img. but you can try to get into recovery by using my attached recovery file and flash the uboot.img and boot.img from my ROM. i'll PM you the link.

Delete: preloader_and_dsp, DSP_BL, from my ROM. and also try to contacted the FCT.
This is 100% 1:1 clone so far. almost like same,.

I have update.zip and unroot.zip . But i want to know he i root my mobile is there a chance of bricking. And also my sgy duos is under warranty. If somehow it get hard brick will it be repair in warranty or not.
You just need to let go of fear.. there are 100+ users.. just read and learn mate.. get to proper section.. you will find enough guides to help you.. we are there if you need help.. you won't lose warranty if you root device.. you have a Odin to save you.. just read the section I linked you above.
I root my device and it was successful. Thanks for your advice. My Main aim behind rooting is to run games like temple run, rail rush. After rooting i install chainfire 3d and downloaded temple run for armv6. Now with some lags it is working fine. But games like rail rush, temple run 2, temple run brave are still not working. So how to run them and also I have many apk files like ae3d motor, pyramid run etc. which are not installing. So I want to know how to install them and run them in my sgy duos.

hey just want to tell you that if you want to install custom rom for your galaxy y duos then don't in for gingericejelly it is also one of the best rom but according to me install techno duos. It is good if you want to increase your performance and also want to play hd games without lags. And that thanks button is there at the ending of each reply.
Also be careful while installing custom rom. Reply he any problem occur occur while installing.

You said "it breaked my device", is it permanently lose your device or could you reset or restore the phone..?
Youre Phone musst be full. Download Odin and the kernel you want( it must be compatible with your phone). Connect your device with the PC/laptop and go to the download Moden.
So...you go to PDA and choose the tar data of the kernel. If there is no tar maybe you have to extract it. The options from Odin should be so and dont change anything. Then click Start. If it finished unconnect you phone and enjoy....

well I m using XDuoes V3 for almost 6-7 months and it's really stable n bug free.

The first time I bricked the phone, I went to the customer care. They said my broad is damaged, luckily phone was on warranty so they changed it free of cost. the next time I odin flash stock rom provided by @manoranjan2050...

HY,i cant help you about the ROM because i dont have your phone and dont know how you have rooted it(S-OF/S-ON),but about the kernell,witch i think will solve your problems,you can flash a recovery,and then wipe cache,dalvik,etc to clean your device,and then flash the SPECIAL kernell for your device,restart,and wait a few moments for it to accomodate .IF you want more details let me know!

Hi, Thanks for the response, I have rooted it with the help of UnlockRoot Pro (using a PC) and flashed recovery (found in Galaxy S Duos S7562 Droidiser Rooting Kit) with Odin through a pc, that's it i have done, now pls advice me if I only flash a Kernel with Odin is this enough for overclocking with SetCPU application or do I need to flash a custom ROM aswell, in both ways kindly advice me appropriate Kernel and if needed ROm for me. I hope you understand my problem I want to make my device faster anyway.. or suggest any other way so that I can meet my objective.

HY,installing kernells is a good way of making your device faster,and more reliable,but if you are rooted,you can overclock your device directly if th processor allows that,just head over to paly store and download rom toolbox,there you will find anything you ever wanted ,as for the roms thery are good options as well,you can see what roms are available for your device from an app called goo manager.I hope that I helped you.

HY,installing kernells is a good way of making your device faster,and more reliable,but if you are rooted,you can overclock your device directly if th processor allows that,just head over to paly store and download rom toolbox,there you will find anything you ever wanted ,as for the roms thery are good options as well,you can see what roms are available for your device from an app called goo manager.I hope that I helped you.

I've used my GT-P3100 for over 8 years.
My first root was successful and all features were working. I then had rooted and flashed the CM 10.2 ROM and suddenly it wouldn't flash. I got worried and checked the device settings and saw that my GT-P3100 had become GT-P3110. I lost SIM capability due to this root. I wanted to ask if un-rooting would help or firmware flashing would help or is there even an alternative to get the lost SIM capability back.

Most probably you installed the wrong super su file, just reflash the stock ROM for p3100

Hello Guys , em using this samsung core prime G360H device and 2 weeks has gone i have tried every single thing to install custom rom CM13 on it but unable to do it. EM currently running on stock 4.4.4 please do help me and share your experiences. Thank You!

is that cm build built for only your device? if not, itll never work on your device. did you install a custom recovery at least? youll need to give much more info please.
