Did anyone try to connect a PS3 SIXAXIS controller with OTG? It doesn't seem to work, I read that since the ICS update it was easy and didn't require any apps or anything like that.
Anyone else got this to work?

Hi ! I tried to play Dead Triggers with Sixaxis through OTG on stock rom and it works ! :victory:
I haven't tried yet via OTG, if Sony added gamepad support it should work fine (and looks like it is from the above post). Will try this evening.

Just tried my dual shock via OTG and it worked with no problems ! It even charged it, going to try connecting via bluetooth when its fully charged.
Tried 3 various USB drives, all of them were under powered and therefore didn't work (require a powered hub)
There's an excellent app on the market called sixasis.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dancingpixelstudios.sixaxiscontroller
Sixasis connects your device to a PS3 controller via bluetooth & has its own mapping profiles.
I use it on my Nexus7 and it's brilliant.
Unfortunately for those with locked bootloaders it requires root so some will have to wait for a root exploit.

Does Bluetooth work in the end? All the videos I've seen show the controller connected at all times.
No, you can play wirelessly, it works on my HTC sensation. Press thanks if I have helped.

Does it require root though?
There's a video on the Web showing the Xperia SP to go wireless with Dual Shock http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/50771/sony-xperia-phones-dualshock-3
Maybe we have to wait some time!
What graffus said,
Let's hope it's available in the next update.
It lets you use the ps3 controller via Bluetooth
By first plugging it in via usb otg, letting it detect the controller -unplug from usb otg- then allowing it to connect via bt. No root required

There's no news... you just plug it in via USB OTG and it works. Always has worked on .244. Then you can pair via bluetooth. I've been using it on .244 stock since I updated

Thanks! For some reason the C6616 has to be updated via flashtool. As of now I'm running 4.1.2, which is why I didn't see any support for the controller on the settings. Is there any list of compatible games floating around?

I'm pretty sure that any games that support a controller are supported by the dualshock.

try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...wsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5sb2NuZXQuZ2FtZWtleWJvYXJkIl0.
Wow, I never knew this was possible.
its ok for compatible games with native gamepad support.:good:
but if not, like fifa 14 you have to use the sixaxis app from the market to pair the controller and setup a game profile, or just google download one for the game.
i have made a profile for fifa 14 it works great with all fetaures like configured swipe gestures for buttons etc...
if anyone is interested in my pfolie for fifa 14 let me know this and i will upload.
Hello it would be very nice if you could upload it

Hell yeah. Got the same sound. I thought it's my phone problem.
I paired it with a PS4 controller. To play games and remote play from PS4.
