CONTINUATION OF THREAD, PAST BOOTANIMATION #37, CAN BE FOUND HERE
There are quite a bit of threads for Stock bootanimations, but almost nothing for custom animations.
I'll start the thread with something I've created over the last few days using /r/loadingicon as a source, and i'll try to keep adding new ones over the next few days as I create them. If you have any custom bootanimations that you want to share, i'd be happy to link to them too.
I'll try to make sure that all the bootanimations here are flashable, just to make the process easier.
Please note that all of these were made for Android 4.4.4, and I can't guarantee that the flashable .zip will work for any other android version.
Just to be on the safe side please make a backup of your current bootanimation first, either manually or by using ZIPme to make a flashable .zip of it.
Due to the Lollipop memory bug, there is a high chance that your device will bootloop if you use a bootanimation that is longer than 40-50 frames on ANY 5.0 or 5.1 ROM. Possible solution can be found HERE

Good catch, i'll edit it and reupload the updated file when I get home. I think i'll move the "powered by android" logo at the bottom up by a few pixels too, just so there's not so much empty space at the bottom while i'm at it.
Edit: I messed something up and the colors at the bottom are all off when I try to edit it. I'll keep trying and let you know if i'm able to fix it.

Thanks! I really like how that one turned out too!
You should be able to flash another bootanimation on top of it, if that doesn't work, open up root browser and go to "system>media" and delete "bootanimation.zip". Reboot and there should be just the stock "android" bootaniomation. Try flashing another bootaniomation then,and it should hopefully work.
I might have accidentally messed up on the flashable zip though, so tell me which one doens't work and i'll take a loook at it and try a different Bootanimation in the meantime to make sure its not just your custom recovery having issues.
I loved the At-At one definitely one of the best bootanimation out there, but now I saw the Space Launch and after recent events (Orion, Indians getting to Mars orbit etc) I'm going to use the this one!

Thanks! I really appreciate the input! I think i'll try making the next few with just the "M" logo on top and powered by android at the bottom. Did you by any chance have a picture of the New Android font logo you were talking about? Very few results come up when I try to google it.
I didn't make the animations myself, I've taken them all from reddit.com/r/loadingicon, edited them slightly and added a few extra things to get the end results i've posted here
Edit: New Bootanimation: Lava Lamp is now up, take a look at the preview and tell me what you think. Should I just keep going with "Powered by android" and the "M" at the top?

However, I still get the warning screen regarding my unlocked bootloader prior to the boot ani coming up. Is there a way to get rid of that warning?

Because the Bootlogo and the bootanimation are two different files, my bootanimations won't effect that.
Here's a flashable .zip of a custom bootlogo i made that gets rid of it. Also you can use this tool to create yourself one if you don't want to flash the Homer Simpson one
It's in the Moto G forums but it works just fine with the Moto X.

Grabbed the Dark ones from the thread that's a little lower down and made them into flashable zips. Worked just fine for me.

Click on the color of the folder you would like to have
Now, you see the contents of the color folders
You have the BigDXSerenity4RubiXromRed.zip
-This contains all the system apps that match up to RubiX ROM
Next you have all the 3rd Party (Market) Apps
These should be downloaded one by one and put on sdcard
Once on sdcard you can install to device by clicking in File Manager
-I have all colors with the same structure as mediafire on my sdcard so i can install all colors very easily

Has not been tested....
I have heard some threads saying that theme for RubiX 1.9.5 will work fine with GummyJAR and i have read others saying different...
I had never even heard of Gummy til' yesterday, so until someone test it, i'm not sure...
I would guess that there are going to be conflicts, but could be wrong
I don't mind testing, depending on the worst case outcome. If it doesn't work, would I expect a bootloop or just some theming to not be correct?

This is what i have so far for JUST the framework on my new CrystalX theme..
Thats 311 custom icons created just for this theme... Not to mention the 139 .9.png's... (those are "sizeable" png's that save space)
This is my best theme yet... will really transform your device to something new and fresh... Right now im really just double checking things, playing with ideas and adding packages one at a time... It will be ready soon enought

I had that this morning when my Asus Transformer was getting an upgrade though it was in green. Not sure if I missed it the first time I upgraded to 3.1 last month, but it was new to me this morning. I think it would be a great boot animation for any device

No that was from last night's OTA.
Yeah its the animation from upgrading from 3.0 to 3.1 but this is in blue....version 2 has the shnazzy "pop out" animation added also.

I was in dire need of new wallpaper, but searching for "Android wallpaper" on Google more than likely brings up just, well, you know, wallpapers of all kinds with the Android robot instead of actual wallpapers for Android. This really saved me a ton of time of having to wade through search results, and I'm rather picky when it comes to my Android wallpapers.

Thanks for putting my collection in here!
I was browsing through looking for a few more, and I downloaded the "Huge Wallpaper Pack" by Andy93. The "huge" part of it probably comes from the fact that my entire original collection is in there (it's the majority of his collection). It's untouched, original file names from where I renamed/resized, all in one folder. He would've been better off linking to my thread, where people can browse through the images and download individually if they don't want the huge download.
I don't care if people take from my collection and add to their own, doesn't bother me at all. Taking it in its entirety and adding a few others is kind of shady though.
Maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Does anybody or does OP have that blue pack? Filesonic doesn't allow for sharing files anymore.
This is the Android 6.0 Marshmallow Bootanimation for ALL SAMSUNG devices. This will work on ANY Samsung device that is at least Rooted and uses QMG bootanimation files. Keep in mind that this is not a flashable zip, if unfamiliar with how to manually install these files and set permissions see my instructions gif. Also, keep in mind that this QMG format system that Samsung uses is old school, it has not been updated or supported in over 3 years, so please do not ask me to make this bootanimation more fluid. Instead ask Samsung to update their design tools, so we can have more fun.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow QMG files for any Samsung device. (included are bootsamsung.qmg, bootsamsungloop.qmg, and my version of the shutdown.qmg.)
If you would like to use this in your ROM or other BootAnimations, just leave a mention. :good:
Instructions
Archives:
A few notes to start, there are 4 files that I tend to use within the Bootanimations which are:
1) Bootsamsung.qmg = this is the large file that holds/starts the bootanimation
2) Bootsamsungloop.qmg = this is a rather small file can either loop or end the bootanimation
3) PowerOn.ogg = this is file that plays sound during the bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg.
4) Shutdown.qmg = this is a mid-size file that plays a bootanimation as the device turns off, best way to activate is to select Power-> then reboot
While shutdown.qmg’s can be customized to work on different bootanimations, I have developed some bootsamsungloop.qmg’s to function separate of the bootsamsung.qmg, this allows the ability to fully customize the bootanimations that you would prefer to view. These QMG’s are listed in a Category called Intermezzo’s as they are Interchangeable without interrupting.
A few things to keep in mind.
A custom Bootanimation works best with a custom ROM, it simply does, Stock ROMs do not finish the same.
There is usually a delay between the loading of the Bootanimation and after the Safestrap loading screen appears.
QMG files have limitations some will not be as clean as Flashable Bootanimations, while others will present better.
Bootanimation’s require the use of both bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg (using one without the other will produce undesirable results.)
With PowerOn.ogg sound files I recommend when setting permissions to use rw-r-r with the “Sticky” Special Permission, sound is often more consistent.
I am only working on Bootanimation’s for this Kollection at this time. Feel free to see if these work on other Samsung Device’s and Tablet’s at your Own Risk.
Please, give credit where due, there are many Bootanimations here, if I left someone out please let me know, if you want to post my work, please extend the courtesy.
With so many Bootanimations it is often hard to remember all of the sources that I pulled them from, the largest source Developer that does simply incredible work and is simply known throughout the Android community for his work is JaeKarr99 which most of the Bootanimations that appear in this LiBRaRy KoLLecTioN are his, I have simply accepted the challenge of using a difficult themeing system and configured it the best I can to keep these Bootanimations in the best form possible. This was done through the guidance of xessus as his walkthroughs and many many countless hours of attempting this work is hopefully showing a positive. Other themers I will mention are Crakanug with the Black Ops II Bootanimation, CyanogenMod with CM, BKJolly, and the many others, if I fail to recognize I apologize it is not intentional nor out of disrespect, please forgive me.

I stretched out full screen(from what the pic is below) but it's still mean looking it the Puny God part where hulk smashes Loki...it just loops the slinging and smashing over and over have at it if you want it . of course you guys have to rename it bootanimation in system/media

I think you'll like this one... I added it up there at the bottom, believe me it won't be at the bottom for long as I have plenty more Bootanimations to add up there. :laugh: But, check this out, I gave this one a "happy ending" hope you don't mind make sure to install the "shutdown.qmg" as there is a Bonus Avenger there, that will be appearing in some upcoming Bootanimations. The gif is just to give an idea the Hulk Boot is actually on the bootsamsungloop.qmg if you would like to transfer it. Enjoy!

Wow! Talk about timing, Samsung's software seems to be having an issue compiling the bootsamsungloops which was a major problem with this bootanimation as that is where the Thor zip is located. Once, an updated is pushed out I'll go through and touch it up, the timing is extremely fast, which I couldn't slow it down enough. But, I did make sure to load this Bootanimation up with plenty of extras. :good: There's also another unseen Avenger that I've added as a shutdown, the key phrase is, "Got'em" if you're an Avenger fan I'm sure you know the scene. Anyways, once Samsung gives us an update, I'll be pushing out some new Bootanimations, probably see more from the comics unless I get other requests...

The OP has been UPDATED there are over 90 Bootanimations in QMG format for the KoLLecTioN, as of today I've added 10 new Bootanimations to the top of the page and I've included 2 more versions of Matrix Collection. I have also added in the InterMezzos in Post 2, this section will be growing, as I have many Bootaminations that are not full length and will make excellent additions to this collection. heres a nice kitkat boot animation i been using on my optimus g pro phone. black background with white everything else. basically its the red android 4.4 screen you get by tapping build version in about phone but says android and is black and white. its a flashable zip, but it was for my g pro so, the bootanimation is inside and you can pretty much extract it place it in the right spot and set the correct permissions and reboot. im about to do it now to see if i can replace this google boot on the knoxraid rom.
