Notice how on home screen everything is kinda of center to the left because of the efge panel when its open , will there be a mod or something to get the screen center or maybe adjust as the edge panel opens and closes. Like right now on this page the edge panel is black with my custom text and its smaller than when on the home screen.

See the difference , the touchwiz launcher always has edge panel open and any other launcher has it closed. The one on left appears to be open a little but its really not, its just how the screenshot is taken.
Im not really understanding you.
When on the home screen yes everything is push to the left because the edge panel cant close on the default launcher.
Now while in an app the edge panel closes and becomes small with the text.
The screen is center.
So i dont know if your is off or what.
Sorry for the confusion. What i mean is closing the edge panel on touchwiz launcher

Is there any mod to have the edge panel closed on the home screen like when it closes when in the app drawer?

How do you stretch the today wallpaper in the fuze? I can set it but its tiled, how do I make it centered or stretched to fit the screen?
Ok I figured out the change. I changed the resolution for the pic to 480*640 and it works just fine now. Its stretched to the entire screen.
BUT I have a new problem
I now have task bar showing at the top when I lock my phone. The battery bar, carrier, volume icon, start button etc. How do I get rid of it?
Also how can I change the clock and unlock scroll bar between the top screen and bottom screen?
After watching a demo of the new BlackBerry 10 today, it occured to me that Android doesn't need the navigation bar taking up screen real estate. The back button can be replaced by swipe from left edge into center (similar to pulling down the notification bar on top). Swiping from bottom up brings up the menus. And swiping from right to left can either go home or with a second up or down flick go to recent apps (or switch these two).
Once this is implemented, manufacturers can get rid of the bottom capacitive buttons, increasing screen size while keeping phone physical size constant. Android can finally get rid of the navigation bar that wastes so much space.
Make it happen I'll test but I like my soft keys

Well, that's a thought. Personally, I'd just put the softkeys into the statusbar and get rid of the navigation bar altogether.

Apparently the Ubuntu smartphone OS has all these edge swipe gestures in the plans:

I've tried Nova, Google Now and the Touchwiz launcher, but on any homescreen, I get a weird white glow at the top and bottom of the screen. This doesn't show anywhere except on the home screens. The black wallpaper I use, is completely black when I open it in the gallery. I've checked all home screen settings, and cant find anything that could cause this.
Does anyone know what it is?
It's sort of hard to see on my LCD monitor, but it's pretty annoying on my S6 Edge's AMOLED screen.
Is there a mod for this. To have the edge panel closed on the home screen like when in the app drawer or an app?
I have Pixel 3a running Android 10.
I can create new home screen panel by moving application shortcuts to the right of rightmost existing panel. However, I can't move them to the left of the "main" panel (when I say "main" I mean the one to which you navigate by pressing "Home" button).
Is it possible to do in Android 10? The panel to the left of the main one used to have Google News, I turned it off but can't place anything else there.
I am coming from old phone running Android 4.2 and there it was possible. "Main" panel was in the middle and I could create new panels on either side.
yes. you just need to create 3 screens and have your main home screen be the middle screen. then from the middle screen you can move left or right. not sure if thats what you want though cause you are correct that they only get created to the right.

I don't think this is what I want because if I click "Home" button I am always brought to the leftmost panel. I updated my OP to be clearer on what I mean.
ok. but when i create the 3 screens and press home it navigates to the middle screen. so i do have a screen to the left and right of the home. thing is i'm using the nova launcher so that's probably it. i guess you're using pixel launcher? might want to search for pixel launcher apps that change the function.

Yes, I am using Pixel launcher.
Apparently the Dec Android update brings gestures to third party launchers which is been a missing element up until now. Once you take the update, you may want to try out Nova Launcher or another third party launcher to achieve what you are looking for. I know I had to stop using Nova on Android 10 because I wanted to use gesture navigation. Now that Google is allowing gesture navigation on third party launchers, I'm sure I'll go back to Nova. I really miss the app draw folders!
But you can definitely add as many screen as you want and even reset the "home" screen easily using Nova. So if you want one screen to the left, then home screen, then a screen to the right - that will be no problem using Nova. In fact you can turn on the infinite swipe feature where the home screens won't ever hit a hard "end" but keep flowing when swiped. So if you have three home screens and swipe right from the third screen you will flow from 3 -> 2 -> 1 ->3 ->2 ->1 etc etc etc. But anytime you press the home button, you can set it to be taken to the middle screen.
