Currently for v400 I build Slim6, ResurrectionRemix, CandySiX both cmte and layers and I have got one build of FlayrsOS. I also build CandySiX and Slim6 for v500/awifi. As my machine is not the fastest I cannot bring any more ROMs for v400, which is also because of the time... I tried to set Jenkins with no success...

No, thats just a slim launcher. You need to add a widget "slim launcher shorcut" and choose "all apps", that way you can access app drawer. I know its kinda confusing for first

Nope no need to factory reset.Just go to your recovery(TWRP preferable) and flash the zip file that you downloaded.
Yeah its completely ok to have your mods installed while installing kernels.Just be careful of those "phone boost/kernel boost" mods out there-could mess up your device.
