Hey everyone, have a question about my phone. When I put it in wifi my 4g bar is still up. Is this normal? Is my phone using both at the same time? My last couple smartphones have been Samsung's so I'm not very used to htc.
I have attached the picture

It's normal. Moto hides the icon too when connected to WiFi but I guess HTC chooses to do it different. That said, if you're connected to WiFi, it's not using your data connection. Only thing the phone would use data for when connected to WiFi would be text messages. You need data for them.
Thanks, I figured that was the case!

Hi all,
I've got two wifi networks set up at home. One in my room and one in the kitchen. But everytime I get home and turn on the wifi on my phone while I'm in my room, it automatically connects to the kitchen wifi and vice versa. I've tried turning on the option to avoid networks with low signals, but then it just stays disconnected instead of connecting to the network with the stronger signal. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
TIA
Hi there,
This phone apparently has the WORST wifi of all smart phones for the past 2.5 years. Read review below:

Well that's a bummer...
Hey there,
my girlfriend uses a Google Nexus 5X and in the past days something weird is happening.
The battery usage of "Snapchat" was enormous - so I limited the background data of Snpachat.
So far so good. But this night, a strange app called "10085" appeared in the list. And it used "GPS"! But GPS was and is disabled in the options.
Any ideas what this could be?
(Sorry for the big ass Pics, but I'm not allowed to post outside links yet.)

Those "numbers" represent an app that you have recently uninstalled or disabled.
Ahh ok. That clears it up. I could have known that. Sorry and thanks
Sitting at school, no data plan or Wi-Fi and desire to text with your mates? Try WiFON!
It may sound hard to believe but it really works without the Internet. You can chat, share statuses, send files, ...
With internet connectivity it will be a bit faster but you still have the option to write to someone in your neighbourhood who only has our app but no Internet at all.
Take a look at http://www.wifon.sk or download the app from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.croconaut.ratemebuddy
It works great also on dormitories, cut off cottages or on a concert with heavy signal drops.

Test another network monitor app, maybe it is wrong
Is there anyway to get a quick settings tile back for hotspot? I often use it and it would be so much faster to not have to go into settings. I've been away from Samsung for a few years but remember it was removed (for certain carriers, I believe) a few years back but that there was a way to get it back. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.
I'm unlocked on Sprint. I still have my hotspot. Maybe you can use Tasker toggle for this?

I'll look into it. Yeah for some reason it's a thing with my carrier.
