Your GPS icon is showing as active in the status bar. Are you running anything requiring GPS in the background?
Admittedly, it would likely just show as "Google Play Services" anyway but if you go to Settings > Location, it's meant to give an indication there of the most recent location requests.

[Q] Battery Usage

Hi,
My last charge lasted about a day. That usually what I get out of my battery. But it shows Maps application consumed 43% of battery. I opened map for couple for time only for few mins. Why does it show that high usage under Maps.
On Weapon 2.6.

I always get huge drain from maps. It could be that latitude is constantly searching for your location. I'd try freezing maps with titanium backup or going into latitude and changing the settings properly.
I removed the maps application, drove me nuts. I use CoPilot instead.

Battery Drain problem

My battery is drain completely when on standby over night.

I have disabled google now so that isnt the problem.
Disable all location services settings
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T
Mine did this at first, wasn't as severe but I disable the gps and make sure I either disconnect it from the network manually or make sure that option is on in the asus customize setting. Don't alaways use that one though because like to leave it connected when I'm awake. Also like he said disabling location setting can help but haven't had to do that my self, only the gps which when was on my battery would drop at least 30% or some times more over night, now with disconnected and gps off usually drops 10% or less.
If it persists, install GSAM battery monitor from play store for more detailed report

I had the same issue....try to reset app permission for the all the apps and see if it resolves.
In night actually i loose only 4%... same with all phone.... 2 % or 4 % maximum in flight mode !
Doesn't look like a widespread issue. Must be an app or maybe a syncing service. Check all apps. This is actually surprising because vivos OS likes to kill all apps

[Resolved] 10192 process battery usage - Moto Z2 Play

Hi all!
I'm experiencing issues with the 10192 process on a global version Motorola Moto Z2 Play.
This morning I noticed that the battery was draining quicker than usual (typically when I get my phone off the charger it drops by 1% in the first 10-15 minutes but this time it was down with about 9%).
When I opened battery stats in Settings menu I saw that "app" 10192 with black Android icon was using most of the battery.
Does someone know what it is and how to fix it?
Here's a screenshot of the battery usage screen:

Thanks in advance!
P.S. I fully charged the phone last nght, today the process has gone and the battery drain is quite normal. Seems like a leftover from an uninstalled app.

Play Services battery drain recently (X3 NFC stock 12.5.1)

Hey guys, after the OTA update to 12.5.1, my phone has increasingly getting worse battery performance. Recently it's become worse.
The culprit is Google Play Services, as you can see in the picture.
My usage is basically the same as before, so it looks like Play Services is going rogue on my phone, draining my battery overnight especially, when the phone is sitting still.
What do you guys suggest? Is it easy to revert to the older MIUI on this device?

Uninstall updates of Google Play Services, clear data and re update the app from the Play Store.
If still buggy, do a factory reset.
No need to go back to previous MIUI because I'm on 12.5.2 and have no issues. In fact battery life is much better now with 12.5
