Battery saver toggle 5.0 - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know of any way what so ever to get the new batter saver toggle on the notification dropdown or as a shortcut on the screen?

I've requested the same here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2949371

Tasker and autoinput can do that easily, but it's payed solution...

Install ElemetalX Kernel..support the dev and buy his app. There u can add toogles for powersave-mod and perfomence-mod to your Homescreen. And you can edit your powersavemod..
For me the best way.

[HIDDEN MENU] 5 lockscreen Shortcuts

Hi all,
i know that it gives a thread about the Hidden Torch menu, so i thought i test a little bit for some others.
I tested a lot with the shortcut Maker and found a link to a Setting Menu where u can set 5 App Shortcuts direct to the lockscreen like in other FWs befor.
the string is under Settings:
com.android.settings/com.android.settings.lockscreenshortcut.LockScreen SchortcutSettings
In this Menu u can manage 5 Apps which u want on the bottom of the lockscreen. This functionwas given in other FWs before, so i thought someone will use it when he knows that it is given in the FW now
Isnt this already in the firmware.. it is already enenbled on tmo s4

Haha, it's Sony Sketch (I install it using rom toolbox). Great font, used it for years.

Ok this part of the Menu is missing in my FW DBT.
So i think the DBT is the problem that this menu point is missing, in the past it was missing to in other FWs for Galaxy S2 DBT versions.
i have it from day one in every firm i tried

Then is the question "why is this menu missing in the DBT XXUBMF8 SuperSlim?" I think not that it is missing cause an app was removed, cause thats are system Settings which are not handeled over an app.
And i heard that im not the only one where this menu is missing, its a little bit strange...
I have DBT too and mine is also missing, kinda annoying...
maybe because i have 9500 ?

U must get a app like QuickShortCutMaker
In this app u must search under Settings for this point:
com.android.settings
/com.android.settings.lockscreenshortcut.LockScreenSchortcutSettings
thats the menu you need.

This worked! I had these same problems with a number of DBM firmwares, this worked perfectly on first official 4.3 release.
Thank you very much.
@OP
I thought the shortcut options for the lockscreen (in the standard lockscreen settings menu) were varied depending on the type of unlock method you used. If you only unlock by swiping, you had more widget/shortcut options available, but if you had a tighter lockscreen security then you don't have so many options.
I use a pattern unlock and the options disappear for me because of my unlock method.
I'll try your guide and see if I can add shortcuts without changing my lockscreen security type.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT: I tried the shortcut you posted, it does bring up that settings screen regardless of what type of lockscreen you're using, but with my pattern lockscreen it still doesn't show the shortcuts on there. When I set my lockscreen type to swipe, the app shortcuts appear on the lockscreen, and so does the menu option in the standard settings menu to select/change the apps, as per your shortcut to this screen.

Click on the menu button and go to lock widget. It will turn the hotspots u selected on. But if u ever want to change them, u have to go to the uccw app and turn lock widget back off. Hope it helps

Not with using unicorn. I know on nova u go into look and feel and it has the option there. May check in various settings. I k ow some icon packs are tailored for nova and adw and such. I do know the various uccw skins, u have to click on it in the all drawer after u install and click install on it then it becomes available to use

Too*
you're very helpful,tnx
I've not seen any mods. Best thing you can do is get an app that puts a separate % icon in status bar.
