5.0, Google Now - Slide to open App Drawer - Android Apps and Games

Is there an Xposed module or any app that can do that for me ?
I would like to open the App Drawer on Google Now @ Lollipop with a right\left slide...
If I could bring the AppDrawer to a page of his own on the screen it would be even better...
I dont want to change launcher to do that, I like Google Now. It's simple and fast...

Xposed doesnt Work on lolipop

Do you mean something like this? Appsi is what I used in the attached screen shot.

I would go into settings and then launcher settings and see if you can create a new shortcut to the app drawer. Or hold down anywhere on your homescreen and choose the option for your launcher, and create a shortcut to the app drawer.
To get the stock launcher back, go into settings>apps or the play store and uninstall go launcher.

So you mean the stock launcher has the app drawer missing, oh that is a problem, considering I didn't think that was possible.
here is the original thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2121036
I read your post wrong, the stock launcher for the custom rom should be Nova or apex, if it isnt go. The only thing I could suggest is the longpress on the homescreen. I hope there is a launcher settings in your rom, and if there is check to make sure that longpress actions arent disabled for the homescreen.

beautiful icon styler app - any icon pack on stock launcher

beautiful icon styler (find it on play store)
this app can use custom icon packs on a stock launcher...
i tried the free version with dcikonz icon pack and it worked (sort of) - it changed the icons on the desktop although i think you'll need the full version of the app for icons to change in the app drawer as well...
nevertheless - this is a good step up

that's why i stated that i don't know how things are considering full version and app drawer...
personally - i don't care about app drawer if the desktop looks fine (that's why i use nova launcher, not the stock one)

REMEMBER. This is for those that want to keep stock launcher. This doesn't replace your launcher like nova. So I want to keep my blinkfeed but have different icons this is what I need. And who cares about drawer icons lol. U spend the time on your home screen. Wow.

[Q] How to hide apps icons from Google Now's App Drawer in Lollipop

Is there a tested app which can hide app icons from the Google Now's App Drawer in Lollipop?
I'm almost ready to take the plunge and upgrade to 5.0 forfeiting Xposed Framework and a few modules I've been using, but one thing which would be annoying me constantly is the cluttered app drawer.
So anyone who has upgraded to 5.0 already -- have you tested any apps which allow you to hide app icons from the Google Now's app drawer? CCSWE App Manager looks promising -- has anyone tested it in 5.0? Any better apps you can recommend?
I definitely do not want to freeze or disable any apps, just want to hide their icons *from the drawer*, for example I may want to have an icon shown on the desktop, but not in the drawer.
Thanks!
I would also like to know this.
I tried App Hider from the Play store, but of course, it doesn't work to hide the apps. Plus, you have to be rooted. Hopefully, the developer will update the app soon.
Well, I went ahead and flashed 5.0 and rooted. However none of the apps I've tried from the playstore (tried like 5-6) could hide icons from the app drawer. In the retrospect I should have probably rebooted (or at least restarted the launcher) after trying some of them -- I haven't as none of the apps I've tried instructed me to do so.
So if you stumble upon an app which works -- wherever with or without root, please post away.
Whoa, I was still searching for potential solutions and found this: http://www.usoftsmart.com/t289594.html
I use apex launcher and it has the ability to hide apps in the drawer. I tried it to ensure it still works on 5.0 and yep. Of course you may not want to change launchers for this.
Thank you for your feedback, but yeah, as indicated in the topic I want to stay with Google Now launcher and want to hide app icons in its drawer.
Anyone has tried anything recently? What worked, what didn't?
Anyone, anyone? Bueller, Bueller?
Xposed for Lollipop + Xposed GEL Settings, just like on KitKat.

[Q] Edgescreen compatibility with other launchers?

Using TouchWiz the "Edgebar" is always in forground...that is usefull. But when i'm using some other launcher the edgebar thinks : oh an app is open i switch into background. then you always have to tap the edge to get it back.
how does cocktailbarservice (edgebar) know that it can stay in forground with touchwiz launcher?
and is there a way to edit app to let it stay in forground with other launcher ?
I would love to know the answer to this too. Even though I hate Touchwiz, I have stuck with it for that very reason.

Yeah I noticed that too. Even the venerable Nova launcher doesn't fix that. Check in the Themes section of this phone forums. I wanted a different launcher solely cause of the ability to have scrolling background images. But the tradeoff with the Edge screen wasn't worth it. So I found an app called landscape wallpaper that does that. Why do you want a different launcher?

and with root and xposed framework you can use 'wanam xposed' to set scrolling background thats a solution for all rooted devices.
it would be nice to use nova launcher - more settings, more individual look. I dont like touchwiz launcher.

We hate warez mate, it's a disrespect towards the work of developers.
Broadcasted from Zeta Reticuli
Maybe instead of trying to cheat the developer, you pay them if you find it's what you want... Cracks and other Warez/pirate activities are forbidden here regardless of what you've heard.
If you don't want to pay, look for alternatives, Google turns up no shortage of options like iLauncher, Blaze, Launcher for 7 & Plus, or how to configure Nova/Action and other mainstream browsers so they don't have an app drawer.
You could pay for it then have two hours to see if you like it and return if you don't. That's probably what I like most about Google Play vs iOS App Store.
EDIT: I would also like to echo what's been said here. Don't do warez, not only is it unfair to devs but it is also potentially dangerous to your device if you download a "cracked" APK that was actually loaded with malware. So even for that reason alone, don't do it.

What bout zenUI? you can use it with/with out app drawer.:victory:
Try ASAP launcher, ap15 launcher and Edge launcher if you wanna reach your apps quickly
I couldn't adjust with the RROreo's default Trebuchet launcher and coming from MIUI, it was hard to settle with any other fancy launchers.
Tried every launchers available in the internet, that was similar to MIUI stock launcher. The MIUI Launcher suggested above is the close one in replicating the stock MIUI. However, I'd strongly advice against it, as it has some serious bugs. It duplicates app icons randomly, and you only uninstall the apps, can't remove the duplicate icons. It gets worse when system apps icons are duplicated.
I'd suggest this.
1. Install Nova and make it the default launcher(free version will do),
2. Create shortcuts of all apps on the home screen,
3. Enable 'Add icon to Home screen' in Playstore settings. (If you're in Oreo or can't see this settings in Playstore, Go to Nova Settings> Desktop and you'll see this option at the bottom of the list.)
4. Now hold the app drawer icon to remove.
I prefer to drag it to home screen and place it in a location or folder that is usually overlooked. I do this because, without the app drawer icon, uninstalling apps (especially when installed from APKs) would be a hassle, since it’s just a shortcut we are seeing in the Nova Homescreen. Adding the app drawer to the home screen (I know this is against the original goal in a sense, but this is very much different from having the app drawer in the dock), helps in uninstalling apps in ease.
Necrobumping because this thread comes up if you look up "Android launcher with no drawer".
After years of struggle, someone had finally made a good launcher with no drawer. Enter Lawndesk, a fork of Lawnchair without the app drawer. It supports modem functions of stock Android launcher, namely adaptive icons.
