I've tried rooting my phone through numerous tutorials and articles and have had absolutely no luck in successfully rooting my phone. I'm a novice at best but I have been very diligent about the whole process and again, no luck... Is there a rooting process that actually still works???

I've never rooted/rom'd an android phone before. I own an LG G3 D855. I've read through the forums and found a spreadsheet to help me root my phone. I'm unclear (for a better choice of words, completely lost) on what to do step by step in order to install a different rom on my phone and IF I don't like it, can I go back to my stock rom?

No one can a answer this. You rooted your device. Why? Decide why you did and that is what you should do next if it's possible. ?
If you have no idea why you rooted... You likely didn't need to.
I suggest you read up on anything you can and learn exactly what root is and how it can help..... Or hurt. And it can cause serious problems if you try things without understanding what you're doing.... So read read read first.

I found rooting instructions for the M650, but the root did not work. I am unsure if the rooting process is different on phones from i-wireless, or if I should look for some different rooting instructions. Maybe the Obama phones just can't be rooted, or should I say can't be rooted by me

hello, I am a new member. I have a couple questions about rooting my phone and the basics. I understand how to root a phone I have done several so far, but my last phone got bricked because I know nothing about recovery. I am searching for a tutorial on the bare basics of reading, recovery, roms, and kernels. Basically a tutorial explaining what they are and how / why to do them. I have searched this forum but could not find what I'm looking for I apologize if it is already in here and I apologize if this is posted in the wrong spot please move this so. any help would be greatly appreciated.
