I'm not sure what you mean by "with out box"?
Best place to ask and get help for the S2 in here: [Q&A][SGS2][Newbies][Experienced Users][RCs] New members friendly Q&A thread.
Maybe you can post your question there and describe what exactly you mean by "box".
(PC, Odin, USB cable, a special app, ... ?!)

Hi I have recently bought an SGS3 and have started thinking about rooting it. So i looked around for the best method and decided to go with this one: How To Root S3 on Mac OSX! | GalaxyRootS3.com Every thing was going well until step 11. when it wouldn't boot into CWM Recovery or even stock recovery. I tried re rooting it again using the same method but still got stuck on that step. I tried doing a different method as well on windows using Odin and CF Auto root, but Odin didn't recognise my phone. Any help or suggestions would be widely appreciated
Thanks in Advance

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
Sorry to hear about your trouble but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy Note II at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-2. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-2/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you. Make sure to let them know which operating system and version your computer uses since that seems to be the main factor.
Good Luck!

Please ask in the Samsung Galaxy Note II Forum where other members might be able to help you, as suggested in my previous post.

I just read this:
"Upgrade/Update Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini I9195i to 6.0 Marshmallow
I rewrite this tutorial from forum.xda-developers.com"
at this address:
http://www.60marshmallow.co/rom/marshmallow/samsung-galaxy-s4-mini-i9195i-7468.html
There is a similar column here:
http://android-rom.com/upgrade-update-samsung-galaxy-s4-mini-i9195i.html
But I didn't find any reference to that here. Is this a scam ?

Hello,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
You can find the development for your device in S4 Mini Android Development and S4 Mini Original Android Development. We don't recommend following guides outside XDA.You can find everything here.
___
v7
XDA Assist
Thank you for your reply, but I think you missed something here. It's about the S4 mini PLUS, not the original S4 mini. Furthermore, if someone falsely pretends to quote XDA, then XDA should say so.
