Hello XDA members,
I have some questions regarding the OPO. I read a lot about random reboots, a yellow tint on the screen, and stuck/dead pixels. I wanted to know if these errors still occur a lot, since I still read posts from the past days from people complaining about these issues. Please post if you have a fully working OPO, or if you have/had one with errors, and if you sent it back, or fixed the error(s).
Thanks in advance
I have a fully working opo no issues whatsoever. If my screen is kinda yellow at the bottom I don't notice it. As for multi touch I tested I can do up to 6 fingers on screen before it gets glitchy when 2 fingers are in close proximity. But who has 6 fingers on the screen at the same time?? I'm running cm11s 44s which is the latest, rooted with AK kernel 077 also had no problems with Franco kernel. Haven't tried other kernels. Food try other Roms with multirom but always came back to cm11s.

Thanks for your answer, it was helpful for me! I just read on the OnePlus forums that the 64GB OPO has been sold out for the Black Friday event, so no more ordering-without-invite today.

several times i've woken up to find my phone in this state after being left on the charger. it won't respond at all and i have to do a battery pull. it's happened across various roms and kernels.
on a related note my capacitive buttons light up at random times. a quick search led me to believe that it's normal, but that seems strange to me.
anyone else encountered things like this?

this was happening to me before with a different rom, but never happened with Nexus MV rom. you should try it if you didn't.

I think this problem is about the new kernels or the new CM7.1. I don't know but I have the same problem since CM7.1 stable.
Same problem here, has happened a few times and made me miss my alarm clock a few times as well.
Running NSCollab so it might be because of Cyanogenmod. However I'm running Apocalypse Talon kernel now and haven't had the issue these past days, so I can't exclude whether it's the kernel or the ROM, or something else...
I'll remember to pull a logcat next time.

I had this issue when using nscolalb. Different kernels did not help. After started using Nexus MV, it never happened with any kernel
I am posting a new thread here because it says I cant post in the specific rom's thread.
I've recently flashed the Cyanogenmod 10.1 rom on my HTC Sensation and it works fabulously when it works.
I have the latest build but I'm experiencing a very intense screen flicker several times a day that requires I pull out the battery to fix it.
A normal reboot or power down/power up doesn't seem to fix it. The flickering will continue after reboot unless I pull out the battery.
The screen flickers and then goes totally black until I touch the screen again, then it flickers enough that I can see the content on the phone.
But the moment I release the screen it goes solid black again.
I flashed my phone back to stock before I installed the rom. I'm kind of a noob with all this - I flashed my last HTC HD2 phone to a separate XDA rom, so I have some experience, but not a whole lot. I may seem clueless on some things but I CAN figure it out with some clearly-written steps.
This seems to be a known issue but I haven't seen anything suggested that has fixed it for me yet.
If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it! I love the rom but the screen flicker happens sporadically. Sometimes it won't happen for hours, sometimes it will come back fifteen to thirty minutes after I power back on.
Try this rom. It's a modden version of CM10.1, specificly tweaked for the Sensation, running Android-4.2.2. I'm using it for a few days now on my own Sensation and I really like it.

That's the one I used. It's perfect except for that horrible screen flicker.
Still waiting and hoping for an update.
I only noticed some screen flickering when I use the panorama function of the camera app. I've also seen a youtube where a guy is complaining about screen flickering. But this is an older video and this use was using an older version at the time.
In case you didn't know, this rom comes with GooManager. You can use it to check for updates for this rom.
I have had my oneplus one for about a month now. And for the first time I dropped it. About 2 feet. And my friend kicked it about a foot to prevent it from hitting the tile and It landed on flat carpet. The phone has a small dent on the lower left corner and screen has 2 small scratches that I only can see in sunlight. So I've been using my phone and every once and awhile it will go insane and the touchscreen will move on its own and press things. I hope this isn't an issue cause of dropping it.. I have a warranty but have alot on this opo already. Is there a possibility it's software?

The Touchscreen failure you have sounds a lot like the problem I had from time to time with mine (without dropping).
There are also other bugs with the screen:
- unresponsive screen (-> reboot fixes temporarily)
- weird behavior like you descrive (ghost touches)
- fast typing not getting recognised
These problems will be fixed with the next 2 OTAs (both in august).
Wait if the fixes do work for you. If not it has definatly something to do with the accident.

OTA Announced today. Change log has a fix for turning on in pocket, but not for the unresponsive screen.
Actually I have had similar behavior and I'm using slimkat 7 now. This morning I couldn't enter even pin code as my phone didn't allow some presses. Numbers 1,2,4&5 weren't registered at all. Same time I couldn't use pull-down menu as it bounced back up after 1cm pull. Also when trying use power menu all options were unable to register. I force shut down phone twice and still same thing. Then I just wiped whole screen with moist cloth. And problem solved.
So there was something invisible holding my screen like finger or something.
I have had similar incident couple times earlier. When writing or so on....

How much longer do you think it will be before the new Ota releases.

The ghost touches lasted for 30 seconds today.. Anyone else having this to?
Yes it's annoying the crap out of me, seem to have the least amount of issue running slimkat with sensei kernel. Every other kernel seems to either leave the screen completely unresponsive a min after boot, or touch becoming increasingly less as time/process load increases. Really hope this issue is fixed soon.

Best thing is to go back to the XNPH22R Kernel. For me it fixed the frozen screen completly.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2780725
It won't work with 30O though. 25R is working with 22R Kernel.
All other kernels are not working very smooth for my device. The OTA fixing this issue is anounced for August. No releasedate has been set though.
Is that kernel compatible with an aosp ROM lime slim or am I going to have to put a cm ROM bck on the phone

CM 11S kernels are only for CM 11S. 22R is a CM 11S kernel.
My phone has been alright today. Except for afew freezes. But I Wana Stay with cyanogenmod 11s. I think it will be updated soon. I really can't wait for Android L. Will android L be with cyanogenmod as well?
Great now the middle of my screen us touch dead........ Ughh
Well now all seems fine.. But earlier screen in center was dead and phone was non stop Ghost touching... Even after restarts. Sigh. This update needs to release already....

So I've been using the GT-I9500 for nearly two years now and I've noticed that it's been overheating a lot recently. I've flashed MIUI v6 on the phone and I'm still facing the same issue, particularly in the area around the LED flash on the back of the device and the whole sAMOLED screen becomes too hot to touch. Even now, I've had to put my phone down a couple of times before completing this post. Please help!

Hello .
This thread discusses the overheating issue. You might be able to find your solution there.
Good luck!
Hello guys,
I bought second hand OnePlus 7 Pro 6/128 GM 1913 Stock, unrooted, version: 10.0.3. GM21BA. . The screen worked fine for a while. Since I rebooted once, the screen started to have a lot of ghost touches on the right side of the display. When I turn off/on the screen, it stops, but the screen is not responsive at all. Sometimes it´s working again for few seconds and then ghost touches will appear again.
I read similar issues with ghost touches here on XDA, but these were connected to NFC or some apps and update should fix it. Not for me unfortunately, I am running latest Android version.
I bought it without warranty, so I cannot return it. Any ideas? Do you think custom kernel/ROM could help?
Here is an example: https://drive.google.com/open?id=11OyzgxsP1LMZEHgg4tUk8hBgRQxzEpt3
Thanks in advance for your ideas!

That thing is broken. Custom ROMs/kernel won't fix it since this is a hardware issue. Sorry dude
How did you bought it without warranty? The device is less than a year old so there should be warranty on it.

I bought is as second hand and I didnt get any invoice. I am just checking if OnePlus can repair it/replace it only based on IMEI number? If yes, that would be great!
