Hi all,
I was tired of using different tricks to use my watch in low power mode while doing sport, and after the pasiveness of runtastic team, I decided to do the trick by myself. So here it is, install xposed and this module, activate the module, restart your phone and runtastic will run now in low power mode
(root required)
Xposed can be downloaded here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-installer-versions-changelog-t2714053
I love you
I tried but not working for me :-/
If not working after restart of the phone, uninstall runtastic and reinstall again last version from play store.
Also update xposed in case not in the last version.
For the rest is working? For me it works perfect

Also don't forget to activate the module in xposed before restarting

Works perfectly for me. Hey OP, if you have any interest in future updates here are a couple things:
Make a UI for the Xposed menu and add options for:
Ignore the first tap after the screen has dimmed. Cause as this app was never designed to be tapped to light the screen it takes any tap as a sign you want to pause training season. The only other way to light the screen after it has dimmed is to tap the menu button and that's kinda tricky to do when you are running.
Maybe it might be easier to change the 'pause session' command to be a double tap, instead of single tap; that way you can always tap once to light the screen.
I have been looking for that yesterday but I don't find in code how the touch events are handled... I'll have a look into it again when I find some time
Had someone already tried it on the field?
Sent from my ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 8008D using XDA Free mobile app
Just installed and turned it on while in the train. Looks very promissing. Great work....

Impressive!
The only catch for me is that I use Endomondo....
Do you think the same technique could be used for that app?

Actually is not possible because Endomondo uses the old API, which doesnt support lowpower mode at all... Sorry
great!
Hi there!
Thanks a lot for this improvement! I used to run with Ghostracer, with low.power mode, now, itll not be necessary! Cheers!!!
One thing, is there a way to choose the informations on each menu ( hrm instead of calories in 1st menu)
Regards from France!
You are welcome!

Hello.
I have to complete and say that I use a xiaomi mi2 with the miui6 ROM.
I have tried two method to use this module.
First, I have used wsm tools. It is an app especially developed for miui roms which integrate xposed framework.
I already had this app and use it for Sony sw2 watchface widgets patch.
I have download and install your module, activate in wsm and restart the phone. It didn't work. I had runtastic pro 5.1.2 so I update to 5.3.3 (with aptoide). It isn't better.
After, I have tried to use xposed installer with this tutorial http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=55693&highlight=Xposed&mobile=no
I have deactivated the module in wsm and activated in xposed installer. After restart the phone, it still don't work.
Excuse me for my bad English.

You have make me realize that I filter with the app name, which is different in pro and free version. I am using the free version unlocked to pro with the code in the sw2, which means it will be working only with the free version... I will update the apk for supporting both
Gracias
Ok thank you very much, when you have the pro version I'll download and try it

Yes!You can,but for that you should be rooted and xposed should be installed.
You can do it by installing"samsung multiple widgets" in xposed and enable it and reboot your phone.
Don't say hit tnx if I helped.

Is not working to you because probably you're using the old version of Samsung Multiple Widget xposed module.
From some months the original dev dropped the project and stopped developing to 4.3, no 4.4.
Luckly for us, another dev picked up the project and made a 4.4.x compatible module, here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/app-samsungmultiplewidgets-kitkat-t2690190
This worked for me well, i also suggest to install "Camera on lockscreen" xposed module, wich allows you to use the camera directly from the lockscreen even with pattern/pin lock.
Hope to be helpful, if so, hit thanks
Tnx, But I already have that version and also I made fully Wipe to my device and it still dont work.
Edit: I try to install that again and when I try to select widget from the lockscreen a crash massage show up and says the keyguard process crashed and I have just the original widgets and not the all widget I have.

Get Back button from ogapps in Play Store. Since I don't like physical buttons, the home button was annoying me. Back button lets u choose which button u want to permanently display anywhere as it's a floating button. So I've put the home button at the lowest right corner possible in the lowest size and margin. Does not affect my usage at all and very practical.
U can also try Simple Controls if u want all on screen buttons.

Yeah I installed back button, as you, till yesterday [emoji4] .
Only thing that bothers me is that the home button (or the the buttons : home, recent app, back) are always hiding some part of my screen, for example when I use the keyboard.[emoji16]
It would have been perfect if I could place them at the same place of other Android devices : at the extreme bottom, below the dock...

Do you have root? If so just install gravitybox and enable navigation bar.
Another easy solution is to use swipe navigation from play store, it doesn't add any button but allows you to use a simple swipe to emule the home - back- recent button

First of all you have to install xposed framework, it isn't an app which you can find on play store, read carefully this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463 . Than you can download gravitybox, enable the navigation bar and also be able to tweak a lot of things like size, color, actions etc. Note that the soft keys will cover the close all button in recents (in portrait) , some parts of the camera, and cause s-voice settings to force close. But luckily there is a workaround also for this, you can download "hideable nav bar" from xposed and with a simple tap you will be able to hide the nav bar when you want.
There is also another way to do it, it's simpler but you won't have the possibility to hide the nav bar and you won't have configurable options.
Just go to system/ (with es file explorer for example) and add this line to build.prop file:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Save and reboot and magically your nav bar will appear
Then, just to complete the opera, there is also a way to disable the capacity Samsung buttons, I'll explain how to do it if you want.
Let me know if one of these solutions work fine for you

This is all I did :
I was rooted and with 5.02, I flashed last Canadian ota 5.11 via Odin (no ota for the moment for France..), installed last twrp for 5.11, flashed the BigBot96 custom Rom 5.11 (deodexed) + its kernel, downloaded and tried to flash in recovery the file : xposed v71 sdk 21 arm arter 97-v6 exynos.zip...
The error is:
"Wrong sdk version, 22 expected 21-21
Please download the correct package for your platform/Rom
E: error executing updater binary in zip sdcard/download.....
Same with the new v75 versions[emoji22]

Without root there's the Simple Control app, but you need a third party home launcher like Nova so that you can manipulate the home dock icons.

if you don't want to press the physical home button you can you use "easyHome Samsung" app from the play store. Simply touch the home button.... it uses the finger print sensor.

Thanks mate! Great app. Totally worth two bucks. Excellent tip.
I debloated my Poco F2 Pro with MIUI 12.0.2.0 and after that I had to re-install "Mi Wallpaper" for Settings -> Wallpaper not to crash.
Anyhow, I can't figure out which causes Settings -> System apps updater to crash at start up.
I have uninstalled with Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot Tools everything else except these:
Calculator
Clock
Downloads
Facebook
Gboard
Google Chrome
Google Maps
Google Photos
Google Play Games
Mi Wallpaper
POCO Launcher
Wallpaper Carousel
(nothing has been disabled)
What do I need to reinstall for the systems app updater?
Thanks!

Just a tip if English is not your first language (it's not mine either), "I have uninstalled with Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot Tools everything else except these" except in that sentence means that those apps I listed are the ones I have in my phone, everything else has been uninstalled. So I have/had Downloads app.

Sorry for the late reply on this, bit if the theme you were using that no longer works was K-Klock, I experienced the exact same thing. So luckily, the developer has his old releases on github, in which I have been using K-Manager-v43.apk without issue on the latest Open Beta 18 of OxygenOS. While I moved the clock to the right, I think it would perfectly for center as well. Even though you can download the K-Manager-v43.apk from GitHub, I've attached it as well since I don't think there will be an issue as the apk is publicly available, and just in case the old one gets deleted. As you can see in the screenshot I attached, the only settings I did were clock position, padding, selecting I am using OxygenOS, and the AM/PM. However, the AM/PM function requires the key from the store which I purchased a while back.
Just be sure to open K-Manager, and apply the theme in Substratum before updating K-Manager from the Play Store, otherwise you'll just end up with the same updated Play Store version which no longer works. After the theme is installed and working you can go ahead and update it as it probably wont be need to be used again.
Hope this helps some
