How to install CWM recovery:
For rooted/non-rooted A25:
1. Download SPFlashTool and extract it.
2. Extract CWMR_6003_A25_Update1.zip
3. Run Flash_tool.exe.
4. Load scatter file extracted from CWMR_6003_A25.zip and you will see "recovery" ticked.
WARNING: Don't put tick "PRELOADER" & "DSP_BL" (those red ones)...
5. Then, goto "Options" --> "DA Download All" --> Click on "Disable DA Download All". Now, you are ready to flash recovery...
6. Turn off your phone. Remove battery for some seconds. Put battery and attach usb cable to phone(don't turn on phone).
7. Now, Click "Download" in SPFlashTool.
8. Attach usb to computer... SPFlashTool will show a dialog box showing downloaded and a green circle. Close the SPFlashTool.
9. You are done. Disconnect usb.
10. Boot into recovery through 3-button combo (Volume Up + Home + Power).
11. Voila!!! Your CWMR is live...
For Rooted A25:
1. Download Mobileuncle Tools APK.
2. Install the apk.
3. Copy the recovery.img extracted from CWMR_6003_A25.zip to the sdcard.
4. Run MobileUncle Tools
5. Click on "Recovery Update".
6. You will see recovery.img on top. Install it.
7. Use MobileUncle to reboot into recovery..
8. Your CWMR is now live...
Back to Stock Recovery:
1. Extract A25_stock_recovery.zip in a seperate folder.
2. Follow same procedure as for non-rooted A25 but select scatter file from the above extracted folder.

what's the error you are getting in CWM while mounting sd-ext or taking nandroid backup...

i think i have got semi bricked phone ....micromax a25
it is detected by computer and make us port..
as the steps mentioned by u i launch flash tool ----> load scatter file ---->then disable da download all.--->
then it gives me error that recovery image is not in valid da format...
do iam doing something wrong...

the recovery is likely to be original ,but works great b'coz of this i flashed micromax a52 custom roms and it worked for me

BUGS
1.flashing boot.img may cause boot loops (not sure)

Now, how to install CWM Recovery on your phone.
1.First downlaod cwm recovery
2.Download adb drivers
3.install adb drivers and connect your phone
4.now copy the recovery.img file to adb driver folder
5..Now turn off your phone and press volume down key + power button.
6.open command prompt in where you installed the adb drivers by holding shift button and right clicking on command prompt
7.then write this command :-

fastboot devices
and if it shows your device id , you are good to go.
8.now write this command:-

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
9.recovery will be flashed.
10.download quick boot app form google play and click on recovery and you will have cwm recovery.

you can use mobile uncle tools to flash cwm

5.it will show the device attached list( e.g. fastboot 255738)
6.now put the recovery.img in platform-tools folder
7.now type
CODE: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
8.Wait for 2min
That’s all u r flashed CWM 6.0 recovery
