How did you root? Which method? You know things are different with Lollipop?
Go to "sticky roll-up" thread in general then read my overview of root options thread. Then you'll know.

1. Unlocking the boot loader will wipe everything...yes... You need to take backup of everything before unlocking..
2. You need to flash custom recovery to root your phone... My sugesstion is don't flash anything as of now or root.
If you root your phone, you will get ota,but you can't install it... So once you installed lollipop, you root it..
3. Lollipop will support multirom..wait for some dev to develop it..
4. Rooting is easy.. There are plenty of guides there for rooting.. Wait for few days to get lollipop and root it..
---------- Post added at 07:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:22 AM ----------
5... You can't install any official update if you root it.. But you can flash the update if any one created a flashable zip

Wait for lollipop official update.. once installed.. you can play with your mobile.. Devs are also waiting for lollipo firmware images and they will develop the custom kernels so you can use it...

Hi guys, I'm searching for a stock 4.4.4 rom or a closer to stock one, can you provide me with a link if its available?
And if not, can I flash a custom rom like BinDroid and remove some of the customization??
thanks a lot

The phone hasn't been updated to 4.4.4 and will not be. The closest you can get not is the stock 4.4.2 which the phone already runs. Or wait for the Lollipop update.
okay and what about removing the themes and costomizations from BinDroid ROM?

I'm really not sure about the process as I'm sticking to being unrooted for the time being. You should rather ask the developer of the BinDroid ROM about your queries regarding his ROM. I'm pretty sure he'll help you out.
And yes, I suppose you can root the device without flashing custom ROM.

That's what I do not want to ... I do not want to delete all my files and burn versions .. I want to root without deleting anything ..!

All my old devices, I burner only root without changing versions or boot device ..
Well, when you downgrade just exclude data, you will get FC's but that just whilst you are on the lower firmware, once you root, install recovery and flash a pre-rooted zip (Again, exclude data) you will be fine.
Or (For the third time) look in the general section to see how to root lollipop

You should be able to find the guide easily by searching. I wish to post the link, but I'm not able to.

How exactly do you have CM installed without root? That is a custom rom that requires root and an unlocked bootloader to be installed
Nexus 6 running SSHD or Cataclysm
