I bought the AT&T Locked Samsung Galaxy S3 having Android version 4.0.4 , After a while I unlocked the phone with AT&T by cancelling the contract and using local service provider and now when I try to update Android version 4.0.4 to 4.4 , its saying current software is up to date.
Can you please explain how to update Android version.

I have a samsung galaxy I5500m android phone running on PC mobile prepaid service. It is currently running android 2.1. I downloaded the kies and it said this device doesn't support updating via kies. I know there is a firmware update available in other countries but I cannot find a canadian android 2.2 firmware update.
Also will updating to a new firmware mess things up with the device's registration with the carrier?
hi i have samsung galaxy s3 unlocked version (no carrier) from uk..iv been trying to upgrade 4.1.2 from kies and ota.. on ota it says im already with the latest update and in kies i just doenst show upgrade firmware...im living in canada...i downloaded kies from uk website...and i knw 4.1.2 is out for uk unlocked versions..help? i dont want to root or flash this thing

I’ve got a Galaxy Note 2 7100 from AT&T – I am using it in India right now & unable to update it to Android ver. 4.1.2 coz AT&T has released all update through OTA & I don’t have a AT&T sim. So what are my options to update my note, do I need to root it or is there is any other way I could upgrade android version on my phablet

hi, i hav a samsung s4 model no. SGH-I337 its current android version is 4.2.2 its not an indian model it has AT&T symbol on it but i think its unlocked my indian sim is working in it. i wnt my cell to be updated to 4.4.2 kitkat. i even tried to root but i was unable to do so. plz help me.
