no, move applications to SD's still not working and I do not know why Sony gave this option if it does not work. A new update did not bring significant_coeff_flag improvements. As I wrote this phone is a failure. It remains to wait for the Omni room then we'll see what we can still do it ...

Yeah, but I do not have premission to unlock my bootloader, and thats an important step for flashing custom roms. Once more, Sony disappointed me!

Hi guys, i have a 64GB Micro SD and i can't seem to get it to work with my device, Im running the CM10.1 Jelly Bean ROM and when i put the MicroSD Card in it said there is no external storage available.. Is there any tweak i can apply to get it to work or does the hardware just not support cards that size?
Thanks,
Dan.

hmm,
i am out of ideas
maybe go to the CM10.1 Jelly Bean ROM thread and post there your issue
or wait until someone come up with something
but many users have sdcard with that capacity and works fine
best wishes
edit:did you reboot the device?

i have rebooted and it still didnt work,
when i go into settings>Storage and click on mount SD it comes up saying " The SD Card is blank or has unsupported files." So i click that and it comes up saying "Format SD Card, All Data on your card will be lost." So i click format and it says "SD Card is currently being checked"
And thats it left it like that for 20 mins nothing happens.
Any ideas?
Boot in recovery in format sdcard their as I formated my sdcard in recovery n then it started to work if it is not getting detected in recovery make a normal boot go to setings-storage-format sdcard it vll work
hit thanks if I hve hlped you

Hey, i'm new to these forums and new to android tinkering indeed.
My phone is Xperia j and i was using .31 jb locked bl. My goal is to get .31 rooted and a ram file swap. I downgraded to 7.5. and rooted. After that i copied the .31 rooted zip to my sd card and my internal storage( sd card is class 10 8gb) and i installed CWM (exact version is cwm-sr13gx v6.0.2.7 as shown on my phone). After i run cwm from my phone and i try to "choose zip from card' i just get "no files found".
What am i doing wrong?
Try going to "mounts & storage" and manualy mount sdcard then choose zip from sdcard

I did try that but it the result was the same. I read your posts regarding this issue on a different thread. Well the ram usage is lower now that i am on 7.5 than .31 and i am rooted so i got that going for me. I will test it out more myself, but is 7.5 actually better( performance wise) than .31? I don't see any big ui improvments on .31. Thing is if i can't get CWM to work properly i won't be able to to a ram swap, or is there another way to do it?
Loads of question marks. :silly:
I don't see why CWM won't read your sdcard that normaly only happens if the sd is lower than a class 4. try and reinstall CWM. for better performance i would recommend AVD rom it is the fastest stock based custom rom. when you say you want to swap ram what exactly do you mean.

I want to create a extension on my sd card for my ram ( a swap file i understud it was called) like virtual memory on windows. I was going to install than rom later on( starting out on simpler things), but yeah i got stuck on the CWM issue.
Thats not swapping ram its swapping dalvik cache and does not really make much difference and you need a kernel that supports swap which stock kernels don't bro. have you tried another sd in your phone and check that it is formatted as fat32.

Oh snap!
Well that was a wasted friday night for me. If i can't do the ram extension thing then there's no point in keeping 7.5 root and i'll just go back to stock .31. Um, can i install games directly on my sd card w/o root?

Yes its fat32, i will try to install the AVD rom you made from another sd card, it sounds really good.
you can move apps to your internal storage with native apps2sd but not all apps/games support it. if you want to root jb .31 then see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2366577

Hi guys,
I just got the Z3 16GB and also brought a 64GB for my apps and files.
I am trying to move the big apps to my SD card but there does not seems to be any options.
How do I do this, sorry if this sound easy but I'm new to this type of stuff and would appreciate any advice.
Use the built in file manager. Not sure what it's called as I don't have a Z3 lol. But I know it has one.

can it move apps??
You can move data but not apps. That's why 32gb may be better.

You can try to root it, instal kk sd cars fix and then some app2sd app
You can not on stock firmware. Has been since 4.3

Root the phone. Then partition the SD card into two - FAT32 and ext2 (Search this forum on howto). Then you can install Link2Sd from play store and then you will be able to move apps from internal to SD card. I have done this in my Z1.
Remember the moment you root, you need to unlock the Boot Loader and the moment you do that you lose Camera Quality.

here's the download link to download swap from vinay for your d2203- http://dl-1.va.us.xda-developers.co....zip?key=ANY2fzOfnGZuXLDJNtAk2w&ts=1440911486
but only one problem is there.. apk is not installing, you can install apk by putting that file in mnt/asec
make sure you have cwm recovery or twrp to flash this zip

Hello guys, after a bootloop i flashed my stock rom (xperia zr)
i wanted to know most of my apps were on external sdcard so is there any way to find out where are the apps on sd so that i can just remove the folder and free up space as its un readable now.
