I am quite new here, so forgive me if I'll be repeating an old question.
I just bought a Sensation XE with beats audio and it has this "common" issue with SD card (either it doesn't read it or when it does, soon after displays SD card unexpectedly removed). And I don't want to return the phone.
I read that to solve this problem, I must root the phone. Is this true? If yes, please how do I go about it JUST TO FIX THE SD CARD PROBLEM?

first try to format the sdcard and see how it goes

Change SD card. The ONLY One solution. Buy a Good one with Class 10.
I also Faced this issue with Transcend 32GB Class 4 SD card. My Transcend SD got corrupted in 8 months !!!
Then Bought Samsung 32gig Class 10,Not a single issue..no any Unexpected unmounts...Nothing..

Sorry but low storage issue can have many different reasons depending on the partition which is affected, and on the device.
So best is to ask in the Desire 816 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
May be too many system apps (remove unneeded system apps or convert some system apps to user apps), may be too many user apps (remove some apps), may be too many user data/files (move some files to external sd card), etc.
Some users try to "enlarge" the partitions which were too small by re-partitioning the whole internal sd card, but this is a very risky procedure IMO.
Some users try to move apps, app data and other files to the external sd card.
Some users try to ... swap internal and external sd cards. But this is clearly device related.
So please ask in your device's specific help forum that I linked above.

I've got an old HTC Desire (bravo) that I'm reflashing for a friend in need of a phone. I previously was running AOSP and CM but now that I'm giving it to him I was going to reflash and cannot give him an SD card. Is it possible to reflash with out an SD card or is there a CFW that works best on phones without SD cards.

Hey Guys, I wonder if anyone could help me out.
Yesterday I rooted my phone, and used TWRP, after a bit of finess I finally got everything working. Except when I try to use the camera I get the Error "Unable to save file to SD card due to insufficient file permissions."
Only thing is, I do not have an SD card in the phone.
For some reason it is trying to save files to an SD card when there is none inserted.
Any idea what I might do to fix this?
EDIT: I just bought an SD card and it could save to it. Still wont save to phone storage, but I am not worried. Mods feel free to lock this thread as the issue is resolved.

So i bought a new 16gb sd card.whenever i open an app that is link with my sd card like apps with obb... it says sd card unexpectedly removed...but in my old sd card only 2gb.there is no problem..im still on jelly bean..plz help

I reformatted my sd card and also the phone...but the problem still persist...my phone is acer liquid z5(rooted)....
