Hello,
I currently have a JXD S6600C Tablet [Device model: S6600C-A13-01-20131100926] which is not booting up. It is switching on, but the screen is not going past the "JXD" logo. I left it switched on for several hours, but it stays stuck on that screen.
I also reset the tablet to its factory settings through the recovery mode, but it is still getting stuck on the "JXD" screen.
Also, before I encountered this particular problem, I rooted the tablet, and was installing several games and apps. I restarted the tablet after rooting it, and had no problems; it is only after I installed some games that I encountered this problem.
Now, I don't have the drivers of this particular tablet, and I don't really know what I am supposed to do.
I would be very grateful if someone would be so kind to help me with this dilemma.
Thank You.

Ok, here goes. I ordered a 7" tablet fromareseller on NewEgg. It's an AGPtEK TP704R. Out of the box, it didn't have Google Play Store. I tried installing it as an APK, and all it did was crash. Lo and behold, their support site had an update ready to solve the problem! I downloaded the appropriate firmware for my chipset (Rockchip 3066), fired up their updating software and...fail. Fail. FailFailFail. Yes, I tried five times, each time going over each step painstakingly so as not to miss a footnote. On the fifth attempt, the PC I had connected the tablet to bluescreened. Now all I get is the AGPtEK splash screen and NOTHING else. It isn't even recognized by Windows. I'm no stranger to modding, rooting, and flashing. I started out with my Incredible (running CM7 by the time I upgraded), and then continuing the trend with my Galaxy S3. I've had soft bricks before, nothing I couldn't boot into recovery to get myself out of...but the only button this thing has is a power button. Well, I guess it has a reset switch that seems to just shut it immediately off. Any suggestions?
TL;DR: New tablet bricked after manufacturer recommended firmware flash.:fingers-crossed:

Download version 1.7 of the Rockchip Batch Tool, that seems to have done the trick for me, there is a bundle of that plus the version 3.5 of the drivers for the usb floating around (not sure about policy for linking outside XDA) easy to find on google though.
Hi all. 1st post here.
I've been having a lot of trouble with my Galaxy Tab 2 lately. I rooted it a long time ago. Never had trouble with it. A few days ago, after charging it, I tried to start it, but when it starter, after a minute or so, it restarted. Normally the tablet only did that when it was froze due to many apps or processes being used at the same time. The problem is that the tablet never started properly after that one time. It's on some type of infinite loop. It starts, stays on for 1 or 2 minutes and then freezes and restarts. Well, i thought what most people would think at the moment: "I need to reset the tablet". I went to Recovery mod, made the format, but when the tablet rebooted, everything was untouched. No format. Odd to me. I then tried to return to stock. If it after that the problem was still there, at least I could be able to call for warranty. Odin gave me a lot of failed errors when I was trying but there was once that it said "Pass". Rebooted, still the same. Updated the recovery, tried to format, still the same. I'm running out of options right now. I don't really know what can be the problem and how can I fix it. I thought that if there was a way to format it like in recovery but using my PC it would do something (or not)
I appreciate any type of help.
A couple of days ago, I was trying to get Google Play on the tablet so that I can play the games I bought since it is slightly faster and has a larger screen than my phone. After unsuccessfully jumping through various hoops, I went to clockwork it. First, I attempted to make a back-up, but looking back on it, I don't think it worked because I never got any type of confirmation. Then, with the firmware image on the extSD, I started up the clockwork. In the recovery menu, I formatted the data, but the tablet slipped out of my hands and hit the floor, jostling the battery and turning the tablet off.
Now, if I try the vol+ POW button combo, I just get a black screen. My computer understands that something was plugged in, but adb and fastboot can't find the device. If I try just starting it up normally, all it shows is the Android character standing there doing nothing. I have been trying to get this thing back up and running with any type of ROM I could, but nothing seems to locate the device except for Livesuit, but when I select a ROM for it to load, the application stops working and closes out. So I am at a complete loss at what to do.
Tablet information
Trio Stealth Pro 7c
Allwinner A13
Device ID: VID_1f3a_PID_efe8
Original Android version: 4.0.4
That's all the information I have currently, if you need anything else, please let me know and I will try to find it out.
Thank you for reading!

Man, that's some really bad luck you got there. My sympathies.
However, I was unable to find much support for your device on XDA, and I also think you may have bricked it pretty bad. my advice would be to try a visit to the service centre to get it fixed.
If you want to do it yourself though, visit this thread and see if you can figure it out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android
FIXED!
Thank you thank you thank you! Your reference to search those forums led me to someone fixing their bricked tablet. Since the Trio was so similar to theirs, I tried it as well, and it worked!
For any one else looking for a fix for their own Chinese Trio Stealth Pro 7c tablet, got here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2537189

My brother inlaw won some cheap (he won it in a vending machine ) Android tablet (7") where you turn it on, you get a splash screen (Tablet PC, Keep Moving Forward) with some animation on that text, then the tablet reboots. Every now and then I have gotten to what seems to be the main screen (like maybe 2 or 3 times) but as soon as you touch the screen it reboots.
I know jack about Android but told him I would take a look. I assume a hardware problem or maybe something corrupt in the software. I have been able to boot into what I will call the root menu. I have tired clearing the user cache as well as a factory reset. No help.
I am thinking it is a hardware issue but it would seem worth reinstalling the software (4.4.4). I have not had much luck figuring out if I can do this (everything I seem to find is on updating the OS not reinstalling or flashing), where to get the files/rom or how to do this. Any direction would be appreciated

Hey!
So I have been using an android phone from 3 years now and I have been stuck in an huge problem! And I need your help in order to solve this problem. Here is the problem so basically I have a Freetel nico (Japanese brand) which is about 3 to 4 years now running on top of stock kitkat rom or in other words the same rom when I unboxed it. After few months my screen cracked on the bottom near the capacitive touch keys. After the crack the home buttom stopped working! I was all okay with that and the next day my notification panel started glitching and stopped showing any notifications which was really annoying. Now I knew that there some serious problem, so I taught of resetting the phone so I went in the setting and tried factory reset. After few minutes it didn't go to system recovery but the phone just restarted itself. I tried it once again and got the same problem, next step I had was to hard reset it by going into the recovery. When I hold the button and let go it didn't take me to the recovery this time also. So in conclusion I came to know that there was no recovery inside the phone (I did erase the phone through recover about 2 times before this incident everything went well during that time). Moving on I rooted the phone and installed SuperSU and other softwares that could install recovery mode to the phone. I got the same result this time also, I also tried installing a different rom through the stock system update app same result.... After a year of all this work I taught it would be best just giving it to the company service center but I came to know that the company had no longer selling this device and there is no service available .
After all of that tries above I still continued to solve this problem I tried ADB resetting it through pc no luck here also! So if you guys could recommend me some apps or softwares I could try in order to reset my phone please do let me know in the comments. Or you could also ask any scripts that you want to know from the phone which could solve the problem I can do that also!
Thank you
