[Q] Lollipop locksreen with calendar markings - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any way to get calendar markings to show at stock lockscreen? I haven't found app for that but it would be great to actually see them in there.

I mean all the markings, with reminders and without, like all day notifications etc.

That is calendar widget at lockscreen right ?
Perhaps should wait for custom rom on providing this feature.

is there any app that displays notifications such as received sms, missed call etc on the lock screen, as a list or something?

Hmmm... you may be able to use FlyScreen which is a lock screen replacement that supports widgets on the lock screen. IMHO it's a little awkward to use at the moment but I'm sure it will get better.
Assuming you can find a widget to list these things you could put that on the FlyScreen.

those show the unread count on the app icon, not on the lock screen.
i was thinking of something more like what desire roms have as they show some notifications on lockscreen

[REQUEST] Calender widget

would it be possible to modify the calender widget so that when there are no agenda's or todo's available, then the widget would display that days date/day rather than saying "no upcoming events" ?

oh excellent!
and if your compiling means my current widget theme/color will change, im using manups FroyoTHEM NexTHEME
You might want to look at other more feature-rich calendar widgets. I use Pure Calendar and absolutely love it. Worth every penny.
Calender Pad is awesome. It will sync w/ your google calender.
pure calender has some pretty good features, but its a bit much for my use
is calender pad just a widget or also a calender app?

[Q] Anyway to change ICONS ?

Guys,
Is there any app or way to change icons for Apps, such as Gmail, messaging and stuff when using SENSE 3.0 ???? I did change them using LAuncher Pro plus, but i have realized that I like HTC Sense more than any other launcher.
Yes, get desktop visualizer in the market. It will work perfect with what you are looking to do.

You can also use Folder Customizer to change icons (and create better looking folders).
And there were plenty of apps that allowed customizing gmail's icon... Gmail label notifier was one of them... Now they are all gone? Removed by Google?

Calendar w/ agenda (similar to iphone)

Hi,
I am looking for a calendar (widget) to display my month view.
I really like the style of the iphone calendar, in the sense that I can click on a date and it will display the agenda for that date directly below.
is there such thing on android? (in widget form)
I have tried so many different calendars from market, to no avail.
Thanks
The calendar GOwidget for GO
Launcher EX is very similar, as well as the native calendar widget in Ok auncherPro.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
Thanks! Both are these are nice, but they do not provide that 'inline' style.
Once you click on a date, it will actually simply change the widget to "Agenda" and hence you need to click back to month view.
I am looking for something like the iphone style.. with the agenda below the calendar.
Something like this: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZaGO7GjCqAI/Spmro7fRVEI/AAAAAAAAQ5E/s1XEJGKG8q8/s640/iphone-calendar.png
Try Jorte:

Gemini Calendar

Possible to disable lockscreen widgets, but replace clock with a custom one?

Title says it all... Basically, I want to remove/disable lockscreen widgets, (which is an option in many ROMS), however use a custom widget (instead of the standard clock)... get it?
I tried replacing the standard widget, then disable all widgets... however, unfortunately that brings backs the main clock lockscreen widget.
Anyway

Ah, the reason I asked, is because I HATE to see the white highlight sqaures when I unlock the device.... (Love lockscreen widgets tho)... just wish I could make the white highlighting transparent... ;(
How about something like widget locker?

With cataclysm ROM, you can make it so that there's only 1 widget on the luck screen

Edit: nvm gravitybox removed this feature a short time ago
I was wondering the same thing
