[Completed] upgrade my G2 D-800 to 4.4.2 - XDA Assist

Hey guys..
so' i bought my new phone- the G2. I find it very cool phone, but i want to upgrade it to android 4.4.2 or 4.4.2 (which is the best).
i tried to do this at the setting of the phone and it says that my current version is the latest (4.2.2).
how can i upgrade my android version?

i have recently unlocked my boot loader and installed xposed followed by some useful tweaks. after hearing the announcement of andriod lollipop i was awestruck and now i feel guilty about rooting my mobile. can i get OTA update for andriod 5.0??? if yes what am i supposed to do before installing the update??? (i know it's too early to talk about it, but i can't handle my anxiety)

You can read about the planned Android L update for your device here: Moto G > Moto G General Moto G will be upgraded to android L.
So it is officially on the list of devices which will get Android L.
But it's not released yet. So you have to be patient.
BTW, you may have to flash the update manually as long as you are rooted. To get OTA updates, you have to be "stock" (on official firmware).

Hello Guys, Just bought this phone for the replacement of my old phone, does anyone here think that there will be a possible future support for this device?
Hope there is because its stock OS is not that good as others neither a newer Android update like KitKat is available yet.

hello I have a lg g flex l23 Japanese version but this model only came with 4.2.2 rom and not advance from there, his other hermanoos reached the 4.4.2 but this model no. Please I need help with any rom either kitkat or lollipop because it really is a great team and that potential is lost sieento with jelly bean, here in Venezuela most of this model and have the same problem, thanks in advance
