What is the difference between F350 & D838

Hi,
What is the difference between F350 & D838 ? What is the frequency for F350 ? is there a difference in performance between the 2 models?
I am from Egypt and wanted to buy the D838 from eBay but there is someone in EGYPT who want to sell the F350 so i want to know is there a difference or is it better to get the D838, there is no 4G in my Country but i think it will be available in 2015, thanks.

not many differences. F350 has an aerial for Korean TV and the LTE frequencies are different.
F350: 4G: 700/850/1800/2100/2600; 3G: 850/1900/2100

So for my country know we didn't have 4g yet, so i think it is safe to get the korean version for more frequencies but i do not know if i will get a problem for the updates as it is a carrier version.

I have a D838 Taiwan Version in Europe Lte/3G and Gsm works fine.
All Updates are coming.
See the Screenshots.

don't worry about the official updates , you can get the latest updates from here and flash it through recovery or Kdz flash

I am talking about the F350 version if it will work here in EGYPT, as i do not know the frequencies for F350, so my questions
1-is it easy to update the F350 like the D838 as much as i know that F350 is a carriers version, it has Olleh or SKT logo?
2-Some sellers on eBay said that Some of function might not be used out side of Korea (DMB, MMS ETC), so anyone facing any limitations to use the F350 outside Korea?

The pro 2 is certainly more exclusive , I 've yet to see one here in egypt. The specs are very similar between the two, but lg's screen is bigger. Regarding the battery the note 3 is a little better but not by much.

I think lg D838 32G processor is bettter, and may be camera also.

Need help with lg g3 to upgrade to marshmallow

HELLO
Hey guys, I purchased an LG G3 AT&T Factory unlocked since july 2016 and was with lollipop firmware . i bough it from Ebay and using it in my country QATAR . i want to upgrade it to marshmallow 6.0 or higher . but i get info its not possible in my country as its show me that its latest firmware . i need help how to update it to 6.0 .. any tips or help to upgrade it as the current firmware is buggy and has allot of issues .
some one told me their is sim cards i can use it internationally as its from USA and i can use it in QATAR and update the firmware and i am not sure what sim is that and its true than i can use that sim in QATAR .
kindly help me to update my phone .

You would need an active Go Phone, or H2O SIM card to be able to update.

Go phone it's a carrier. You would need to activate either sim.
And youd need to call a toll free US number to activate it with a number (use Skype). You don't have to add money to the sim.
Don't pay too much for an H2O sim as they're only a penny here in the USA $0.01 so they cost almost nothing. Not sure what they are to get there though.

so i need to buy Go phone carrier sim from EBAY and after i buy it i have to put it on my lg g3 . for activation i call us number and activate the go phone sim and then i can use the sim in my country right ??
and throw the sim can i update the software or i need balance in the go phone sim card to update the software ???

Yes it will work, you'll have activate the sim online and you shouldn't have to add money.

You activate it online you don't have to call anyone. It'll just ask for standard details. If an address or something find something to put there

ok so online on AT$T website right ?? yeah detail i have my aramex shipping detail i can put that just for address if they want ..

just today i got the go phone sim card and i tried to activate throw att$t website bit when i put my IMEI Number it show error message ( GP098: The IMEI you entered has not been recognized. Please call Customer Care at 800.331.0500 for activation assistance ) can someone help me with this issue ???

Try an IMEI from another device. Since your in another country are you sure your IMEI is not blacklisted?

if i entered another mobile IMEI THEN I SHOULD USE ON THAT PHONE OR I CAN USE THE SIM ON ANY DEVICE ?? i am not sure about black list as this LG G3 i bought it from EBAY . their is anyway i can know the imei is black listed or not ??

PM me your IMEI and I will check it for you. If activating through Go Phone it doesnt matter what IMEI you use as long as its valid it wont affect what phone you can use the sim card with.

ok i get to the last steps but i have to chose plan and do i need to pay for the plan or what ?? or just i press submit and the card will activate ??

Just choose the pay as you go plan and submit you don't have to put any money on it

Seems you bought a sim meant for tablets, Just choose the lowest and hope it doesnt make you pay.

Hello I bought a samsung s8 plus unlocked from usa
Now i bring it to india. It work fine with every operator .
But when i put my relince jio 4g sim card internet works fine , but calling doesn't
I try to fine volte switch but couldn't fine anywhere
Is there any way to do so

In USA band 41(2500 MHz) is used for VoLTE/LTE by most of carriers but in India band 40(2300 MHz) is used for VoLTE by Jio. So if you buy any US variant smartphone, Most probably it will have support of only band 41. This is one of the reason not to buy phone from USA if you plan to bring it to india. This is why you should buy phones from india.

If i install indian firmware on it does it work

Not entirely true. Jio calling works only on VoLTE.. no fallback to 2g/3g. So VoLTE works on all bands, 850/1800/2300MHz. If it were only 2300, i shouldn't have volte when am on 850band and calls should fail in areas distant from signal Tower where only 850 can reach.
Regarding VoLTE functionality on US models... It's relevant to CSC. if you can flash indian CSC, you'll have volte but to modify CSC, you need root. for now, we don't have root on S8 USA models.

Yup sim is working fine im using internet smoothly. Nd calling done trough jio voice app. If it was band problem it wont for internet also
The main problem is with volte feature phn try to call through simple network whereas jio calls r go through volte internet system
If u find someway to on volte feature of usa model it will work fine

VoLTE relies on CSC. But because you bought a US version, I don't think you can flash an Exynos CSC on a Snapdragon phone.
So unless you can figure that out, you won't have VoLTE.

I am fine with not having VoLTE. Why is that I am not able to make regular calls through Jio SIM. I purchased S8+ last week in USA.

Without volte support you won't be able to make jio calls.

I'm using s8 plus us version ,when I'm in roaming i can't access internet is there is any way to make it work

Its is possible to enable volte I enabled jio volte by flashing a file on my old s7 edge verizon ,give me some time I will try to come up with fix.
EDIT:- You need following files present in this zip from Indian S8+ .

I just checked around but couldn't find a fix. (there's rooting available for s8 though)

Just install Jio4GVoice from apk monk (not from Playstore as you may not see it there) and make it default calling app. It's a workaround and should work.

Use jio4gvoice apk. Which is available in play store.

It worked in Android 7.0.0
I am using US t-mobile s8+ and when i was on Android 7.0.0 using shortcut master application and there is option to change ims setting and we can enable volte through this application and it works very well. But after updating my phone to Android 8.0.0, I again tried to change IMS setting through shortcut master, nova launcher and many more application. But permission denied or some errors occurred.
So it's possible but we just need to give permission to change IMS setting. So if you have solution to change ims setting without root then tell us because in Android 7.0.0 there was no need to root phone for change the IMS setting.

same problem with my samsung s8 i wisted went outside india for 2 week, when i came back then my jio sim just prove internet not calling, i call many times to jio customer care but no response and visited to jio store but nothing happen.

If it's 955F model, you can simply flash 955fd model latest indian firmware.

If you are new to flashing, check youtube videos on how to flash via ODIN (even the page i linked will have instructions.)

A little problem with my phone.

I bought a Samsung J7 Nxt(India)/Neo(USA and Other countries)/Core(Middle East) (Model - SM-J701F/DS) from a middle eastern country and brought it to India. And the problem is that the device is enabled with Volte services but I cannot use the Volte (displaying 4g but not Volte) in here. Ive searched a couple of forums it says that the middle eastern countries are not using Volte services yet thats why my device cannot use the 'Band' (I dont know what it is) which is compatible with the Indian Bands. So please can anyone help.

I am already having the Indian rom and checked with a phone of the same model.. All the details for example build number, CSC version all are same but still no VOLTE.
P.S. The other indian model has Volte

..then maybe volte is not supported in your country....try to use this rom REFINED NOTE 8 FOR J701X..it has volte feature..currently im using this rom..

Volte is supported in my country. I want to use the original firmware tho.. thank you for the suggestion

First of all i have an s8+ g955w with csc g955woya5bsa1 but i just found throgh imei info and samsung phone info app that my s8+ is g955U so its clear that my phone is converted bcuz samsung phone info says my prodyxt code is g955uzsaxac. See that 5. Thats your revison bootloader. You need to flash the same revision 5 combimation rom. Then the U revision 5 of your choice...
If the device is sim unlocked you will face no issues. If it is still locked it will only work on whatever carrier and it's under companies. Say like att also has cricket straight talk tracfone and net10 that all run on att just flashing firmware won't relock it

As a further note all w models are Actually U models just flashed for Canada
